The Universal Villain

Seeing Renji charging towards him with his normal Zanpakuto, he could see that he wasn't taking him seriously. 'Underestimating me will be your undoing.' Holding up a single finger, Shen charged up a small ball of energy. In that instant, Renji stopped himself. "A Cero?" He raised his Zanpakuto to block immediately.

"Hmph." Firing the beam was extremely powerful, but it was incredibly fast. Hitting the Zanpakutos blade, the beam dispersed, but Shen still didn't let up, causing Renji to get pushed back slowly. "Let's see how much you can take." Shen continued to raise the power of the beam, prompting Renji to sweat as he was pinned in that position, not even getting the chance to use activate his Shikai.

"Damit!" Renji continued to get pushed back and could feel himself slipping. Realizing his situation Renji pulled back then quickly jumped into the air. With nothing blocking it, the beam continued forwards. There was no explosion just erasure as beam traveled it created holes in everything it touched.

Seeing that Renji could only imagine what would have happened if that had hit his body. "Nice, I have to admit I'm impressed." Rukia, who was watching the fight from the ground, yelled up. "Renji behind you!" Once Renji heard that he quickly turned around while releasing his Shikai. "Roar Zabimaru!" Swinging his Zabimaru as he turned, the sword began to extend, looking more like a whip.

However, Zabimaru passed straight through Shen. "What!?" Seeing the after image fade, he started looking around for Shen. "You're pretty quick on your feet, but I wonder just how fast you really are." Shen appeared a few dozen meters in front of Renji, holding up his finger just like before.

Renji instantly went on the defense. "This again? I won't fall for the same trick twice." But unlike before, when Shen shot a beam at Renji, it was short burst yet he was unrelenting. His finger was like a machine gun shooting dozens of beams every few seconds.

Seeing this, Renji didn't bother blocking but instead dodged. As he flew, Shen tracked him with his finger giving him no chance to rest. As he flew, Renji thought to himself. "What is this? It isn't a Cero, and I cant sense his spiritual pressure." As Byakuya watched from the ground, he made sure to observe carefully. Rukia, on the other hand, was more surprised.

She had seen this person fight before, but this time it was different he was able to push back a Lieutenant. "He got stronger in that short amount of time..." The battle in the sky continued. 'What the hell how long can he keep doing this.' At first, Renji had planned to wait for this person to run out of energy, but seeing the pace of the beams not only stayed stable but slowly started to increased, he threw that plan away. 'Fine, I'll go on the offensive.' Using Flash Step, Renji disappeared appearing a few meters behind Shen.

"HYA!" Letting Zabimaru extend as it flew forwards. He was positive he would hit Shen this time. Shen saw the attack coming, but instead of dodging it, he stood there, extending his hand towards the incoming blade as it cut through the sky. Tensing up for a moment, it let out a wide spread of energy from his palm.

This wasn't a beam or blast this was more like a widespread explosion covering blocking the path for the blade. As Zabimaru hit this wave, it instantly lost momentum, and as it got closer to Shen's palm, the stream of energy only got stronger eventually, it completely stopped and began to retract. At this moment, Renji was at a lost he was utterly outclassed.

This person was able to keep up with his speed easily and could stop his Shikai with zero effort. "Well, as fun as this is Renji, I think its time I ended this." As much as Shen loved abusing Renji, he knew if this continued Byakuya would interfere eventually.

When Shen exited training, he did have quite a lot of SP to spend, and with the Flying Thunder God Technique bought, he didn't need to bother saving any. "If you survive this color me impressed..."

Shen raised his hand to the sky, but no Ki was gathering; instead, a different type of energy was forming lightning in his palm.

The sky turned dark as storm clouds covered the sky. Watching this, Renji was stupified. It wasn't long before those storm clouds covered the entire area. It was unnatural as the clouds were circling around Shen as if he was the eye of the storm, the lightning in the sky, and the lightning in his palm got even more intense.

This beast was shaped like a Kirin. Floating behind Shen like a divine beast looking down on the world, the Kirin seemed to be tamed.

Suddenly a beam of lightning roared from the sky, creating such defining sound the windows of buildings for miles shattered. This was by far one of Shen's favorite Techniques even though it wasn't used very often in the anime it left a lasting impression. Initially, he wondered how it would function without thunder clouds around, but to his surprise, the system created them the moment he used the Technique.

Renji could only watch in horror as a blue light filled the area around him. With a bright flash of light, the beam of lightning hit the ground shaking the very earth, causing the area ground itself to be turned into powder by the sheer force of the impact.

Standing there in the sky, Shen wondered why he didn't get a notification. Looking once more at the beam of lightning as it slowly began to disappear, he saw something. "Huh?"
