"Awesome! Now that's what I'm talking about!" Simply rubbed his hands together.

Moventus cooly replied, "Are you referring to the... assassin?"

"Of course! The game is practically sending us a free boss. And where there is a boss... there is a reward!"

"Don't get your hopes up... man. The assassin could be a high-level boss, that will one-shot you."

Droplets of sweat appeared on Simply's forehead. "Haha.... let's just loot the corpse for now."

After a few minutes, the victorious duo placed all the loot that they found together in the middle of the tent. Both of them could hardly contain their joy! Picking the first item, Simply started to drool over it like a kid in a candy store.

The equipment that the captain wore was a fine set for shield knights. It looked pretty badass, to begin with. The armour consisted of a close-fitting leather jacket, a single piece cuirass with articulated plates that served as a defensive skirt, and a pair of vambraces and leg greaves. Every metal piece of the set had been tainted black, resulting in a matte finish. Paired with brownish-red leather, it made the armour impressive to look at. The shield followed the armour's aesthetics. Tinted-black wood forming the back, while the front was made out of the dark-matte steel. The edges of the shield which bind the two materials together were made of a red metallic rim. It was a splendid example of a sturdy scutum, similar to the roman legionnaire shields.

The core strength of the Hobgoblin Legions. These shields allow the legions to cross entire battlefields without taking massive amounts of casualties.

Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Bash does who dare stand in your way. Anyone in front of you receives a powerful physical blow. Deal {Shield Defense value x Strenght x 200%} damage. If the enemy and you have a similar strength, he gets pushed back. If there is a difference of 10, then he gets thrown down and receives a two-second stunt. Any greater difference and he flies 10 meters, taking fall damage and is stun for five seconds.

A tank armoured with this set can easily take on bosses. This set answered a fundamental requirement for dungeon and boss runs. In other words, this was crack to all guilds and adventurer teams.

Four items remained. A sword, a cloak, a ring and a weathered book.

The sword that the captain used turned out to be a common level 30 weapon. Good, but useless currently. Its only practical use was to be scrapped for materials.

The midnight black cloak was embroidered with red patterns. It looked more like a noble's cloak than a rogue's. Both swordsmen shook their heads at the fancy garment. They added it to the 'selling' pile alongside the armour, the daggers and the shield.

The ring, on the other hand, made them drool over it. The shank was made out of dull cast iron, and the centre stone was a cloudy reddish-brown stone. Aesthetically it looked cheap. But a single glance at its attributes would convince even the most fashionable player into equipping it.

[Red Iron Ring] (Silver | Unique, ring)

A long-forgotten protopype of a genius enchanter. The gem can store the life energy of slain enemies. Its wielder can use the stored energy to replenish his own life force (Hp).

"Oh, oh, oh!"

"Yeah... jackpot."

The last item was a skill book, of some sort.
