The Very Best

An hour had passed, and Daisy was napping on his side. She used his elbow like a pillow to support her head. Zed smiled at her sleeping and peaceful face. He kissed her one last time and gently moved her aside. He stood up and cleaned himself using cloth from his ring.

"I wonder what will Professor ask. I have been staying in her room for an hour." Zed thought and exited the room. He descended upon the stairs and saw professor Oak staring at him with a serious face while crossing his arms.

"I hope you won't hurt her, Zed... When she was young, she always stayed at this Lab and not having so many friends. Daisy always helped me and assisted me with my work. Also, he often meets people with the opposite gender, except to my assistants." Then, his serious face changed and smiled at him. "So... Call me father from now on."

Zed smirked at him and nodded his head, then he and Professor talked about his journey. But before that, it made him relax that Professor was not against his and Daisy's relationship even though it was sudden and fast. They were walking towards the Lab's garden, and Zed sees two cute looking figure. The first one to look at him is a small, darkish, bipedal dragon-like Pokemon. It lacks a neck but has a large mouth that is filled with sharp teeth. It has two horns on its head, striped blue in the middle, and a large dorsal fin. It has a red underbelly and a small tail on its back.

The second one to look at him is black and blue, dog-like Pokemon nearing two and a half feet. Its legs and torso are colored black while its head, lower body, and tail are golden. It has large, rounded bumps on the backs of its forepaws, placed similarly to Lucario's spikes. Riolu also has a black "mask" with two black appendages on either side and red eyes.

Zed was shocked about this, the two Pokemons in-front of him are different from it's kind just like his Greninja and Braixen. Professor looked at him and laughed at his shock expression. He then started to talk.

"These two Pokemons are variants from their respected region. They are from the Sinnoh region, and both of them were gifted to me from Professor Rowan to study them... But I decided to give them to you because I know that the Pokemons that will be in your possession will become abnormally powerful, and locking these two variants will be a waste." Oak looked at Greninja and Braixen." Just like those two. So... your decision?"

Without hesitating, Zed squatted and look at both of them.

"So? What do you think, little ones?" Both of them were shocked because they could understand what Zed was saying, it's as if he is one of them.

Riolu and Gible nodded their head, Zed then took a Pokeball and threw at them. This day, two Pokemons entered in Zed's team.

"Thank you, Professor, this two will be a fantastic addition to my team."

Zed then called all of his Pokemon and left them in the garden for a while. Inside the Lab, Zed went to Daisy's room and knocked. She was already awake and started to dress.

"It's almost time for me to leave."

Daisy nodded and approached him. This caused Zed to ask her again.

"You don't want to see me setting off?" She shook her head and replied.

"Don't wanna, but instead..." She kissed Zed one last time for three minutes. They separated and looked at his eyes. "I don't want to act dramatic seeing you leave... You just came back and needed to go right away, I want you to come back safe and sound... `We` will be waiting." Zed knew what she meant by `we.` He smiled at her and peck her lips one last time. Daisy arranged his collar; then, he left Daisy in her room while her smiling figure still remained inside his heart and mind.

Zed looked for Professor Oak and asked something.

"Professor. I mean, F-father... Can I ask something?" The Professor nodded. Zed resumed.

"Can I ask where can I but this Ultra balls? I heard that the percentage to capture a pokemon is high." The Professor thinks for a moment with his hand on his chin. Then he answered.

"As I know. You can look for one in the Kalos region Pokeball factory. Even though it's far, I know you will set there because of the mission that you told me.

Zed nodded in his answer and told his `father in law` that he will be setting off. Professor also asked where is Daisy but Zed shook his head and pointed at her room. Oak sighed at her Daughter's behavior and personally escorting Zed off. He gave advice to Zed one last time then seeing him leaving.

Zed rode his bike towards Forest-Kun once again. Even though he needs to hurry, he still let his Pokemons train in the forests for more than two hours. They may be strong, but this Legendary Pokemons strength can't be taken lightly...
