"Lady Melissa! Please get down. The driver's ready!"

Sophia shouted, to which Lady Melissa gave a reply.

"Alright, Sophia, you get into the carriage first! Give me a minute or two, and I'll get down."

Lady Melissa shouted before standing up and fixing her dress.

Speaking of the red dress, it was absolutely stunning and had even complimented both Lady Melissa's make-up and appearance splendidly.

"Alright, Lady Melissa."

Lady Melissa took the jug of water, pouring herself a glass before drinking it all in one go.

Finally, Lady Melissa started to go down the stairs, excited to go to the shop La Vien En Rose once more.

A servant opened the carriage door for Lady Melissa, bowing his head down.

"I hope your travels are safe, Lady Melissa."

"Thanks. I hope you stay safe too."

'That sounded stupid- I should've never said it.'

Much to Lady Melissa's surprise, the servant smiled at her and nodded in agreement to her statement before the servant quickly closed the carriage door.

"Sophia, before we go to the Mendora estate, I need to make a little stop first, okay?"

"Alright, Lady Melissa, where are you planning to go to?"

"La Vien En Rose, I decided that it wouldn't be the best for me to go to Lady Celine's tea party with nothing, so I decided to pick up some sweets for her. You think she likes sweets, Sophia?"

"Yeah, I think so. Last time I heard from another maid that Lady Celine highly liked sweets and desserts."

Lady Melissa let out a sigh of relief that she didn't know she was holding the entire time.

"That's good to hear then. Hopefully, Lady Celine likes the sweets from La Vien En Rose."

"Let's hope so."

"To La Vien En Rose!"

Lady Melissa shouted at the driver.

The carriage started to move, and Lady Melissa could see the background changing from her window.

"Sophia, how old are you?"

"What's with the sudden question Lady Melissa?"

"Nothing, I just want to know."

Sophia didn't buy the excuse but decided that it wouldn't hurt telling Lady Melissa her age.

"I'm turning twenty this year."

"Ohh, so we're similar ages then?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

Lady Melissa and Sophia didn't speak anymore after that. Instead, the carriage was filled with silence, but the silence was a comfortable one.

"We're here, Lady Melissa!"

The driver shouted to Lady Melissa.

"Alright, thanks!"

Lady Melissa shouted back.

Sophia went out of the carriage, quickly going to Lady Melissa's side of the carriage and opening the door for her.

"Thanks Sophia but you don't need to do that you know… I have arms and legs for a reason."

Lady Melissa said with a half joking tone and a half serious one.

"Well I wanted to start being more like the other maids and serve you properly, your not my friend but my mistress instead."

"Well I guess your right about that, but don't change anything else okay? Like being fun with me and everything."

Lady Melissa said, not wanting Sophia to change that about herself.

Sophia was unconvinced, but she reluctantly agreed to Lady Melissa.

"I guess it's fine… As long as we're alone."

"That's fine by me."

Lady Melissa gave Sophia a smile.

"Now can you get out of the carriage Lady Melissa? My legs are tired from all this standing."

"Dramatic much."

Lady Melissa proceeded to roll her eyes in a joking manner.

But she did get out of the carriage much to Sophia's delight.

"I'll just wait in the carriage then Lady Melissa?"

"Alright, have fun I guess."

Lady Melissa walked up the stairs of the shop La Vien En Rose and she could see it was crowded, VERY crowded.

'Hopefully this doesn't take too long.'

It was then Lady Melissa saw the line of people waiting to directly order ice cream and boy she knew she was going to be here for a LONG time.

'I'm at La Vien En Rose, might as well just wait in line right? Besides I have more than an hour to get to Lady Celine's tea party so I should be fine.'

Lady Melissa tried to convince herself, well technically she could just go to the receptionist and use the Shayla estates name to just get her order immediately but she felt that it was unfair to everyone else who was waiting so she was against the idea.

Someone bumped into Lady Melissa, taking Lady Melissa out of her thoughts.

Lady Melissa jolted in suprise, trying to see the person who had bumped into her, though unfortunately it had seemed the person who bumped into Lady Melissa had dissapeared from her sight.

Probably because he was in a hurry, it was then Lady Melissa realized where she was, she was just a few feet in front of the door! No wonder she had gotten bumped into by someone.

Lady Melissa's cheeks were flushed and she quickly went into the back of the long line, not being able to wait for the ice cream.

"Next person!"

One of the employees shouted out, great it was finally Lady Melissa's turn, after what had seemed like ages of waiting.

"Good afternoon, what can I get for you today?"

"Good afternoon, I'd like to get 3 chocolate ice creams, 2 chocolate cakes, 5 cookies and cream ice cream and 10 strawberry cakes."

The employee was stunned at how much Lady Melissa decided to order, after all there prices weren't exactly the cheapest so the employee quickly realized that Lady Melissa was probably a high-leveled noble.

"Alright Miss, is that everything you want to order?"

"Yes."

Lady Melissa confidently answered.

"Takeout? Or will you eat in?"

Lady Melissa quickly took a look at her surroundings.

"Takeout."

"Alright thank you for ordering with us Miss, you can wait in one of these tables for your order."

The employee pointed to one of the few empty tables that was specially reserved only for people who were waiting for their order.

"And you'll be payed once the items are ready okay Miss?"

"Sure no problem."

"Great your number is 401 and one of the staff will call the number out once your order is ready."
