"You're welcome; sorry to disappoint you, Sophia, but there aren't any more pizza slices."

Lady Melissa said, and in an instance, Sophia's face turned sad and pouty.

"Well, if you'll excuse me, Lady Melissa, I have to go to sleep now; I'm a little tired today."

Sophia said, scratching her head.

"Oh sure, I should probably go now too."

Lady Melissa said.

"Good night Sophia."

Lady Melissa said before quickly opening the door and leaving to go back to her room.

Sophia didn't say anything, instead only waving Lady Melissa goodbye before standing up to turn off the lights and brush her teeth.

Lady Melissa heard a faint goodbye from Sophia; however, thinking Lady Melissa heard it wrong, she brushed it off quickly, going to her room.

Lady Melissa opened the door to her room, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw the clock.

"It's only 10 PM?"

Lady Melissa confusedly asked herself out loud; she never knew Sophia had slept so early when Lady Melissa herself usually didn't sleep so early.

'I should probably think about what happened to Victoria now.'

Lady Melissa thought, quickly taking a piece of paper to write some of the details Victoria had told Lady Melissa earlier about herself.

"Victoria."

Victoria's name was written on the top of the blank sheet of paper, and under it, Lady Melissa made two arrows, one pointing to the corner in the left downside while the other was pointing to the corner on the right downward side.

Above both the corners, Lady Melissa wrote a few simple details about Victoria.

Under the left arrow, on Lady Melissa wrote, little brother, indicating that Victoria's family was her little brother; and just as Lady Melissa was about to write on the other arrow, she noticed she had completely forgotten something.

She forgot to make another arrow for Victoria's profession.

Quickly Lady Melissa drew another arrow, this time in the middle of the arrow on the left and the right, luckily she had just enough space to draw the arrow in the middle.

Under the middle arrow, Lady Melissa quickly wrote down the words prostitute; she was trying to find something that would perhaps help her to find whoever the murderer of Victoria was, wanting to bring him into jail.

Lastly, Lady Melissa wrote under the arrow in the right, green eyes; and seemingly excited while killing me.

Although Lady Melissa didn't exactly remember the words Victoria had previously told her about the guy who was seemingly excited while killing her, she remembered that Victoria said something amongst those lines and thought that her writing this would be okay and wouldn't be much of a difference.

Lady Melissa put her pen down, instead of shaking her pen over and over again, trying to think of if she had ever heard about a murder case similar to this.

'Wait, since this murder had happened recently...Shouldn't it be in the newspapers?'

Lady Melissa thought, an idea popping into her head.

'If it is from the newspapers, I can always take one of the newspapers dad has...He always gets a new newspaper daily.'

Lady Melissa thought, thinking of sneaking downstairs to get the newspaper her dad had gotten from the delivery man.

'Victoria did tell me this happened recently, so I don't think she was lying, and besides, there's no harm done if I take some of dad's newspapers, right?'

Lady Melissa thought, curious to know whether there would be any information regarding Victoria's murder in one of the Duke's newspapers.

'Well, I hope he doesn't catch me.'

Lady Melissa thought before opening the door and quickly going downstairs.

'If I'm not wrong, dad placed new or old newspapers in a bundle in one of these rooms, and they're bundled weekly.'

Lady Melissa remembered, remembering her mother talking about it and seeing her dad asking one of the maids or servants to bundle the newspapers up together weekly.

Lady Melissa looked left and right, hoping that no one would be in her sight or her plan would be foiled.

After a few quick glances to both left and right directions, Lady Melissa decided it was safe to go and quickly ran to one of the many rooms.

Lady Melissa was met with pitch-black darkness, and she spent the next few minutes of her time trying to find a light switch so she could finally see.

Lady Melissa found the light switch, quickly turning the lights on, and lo and behold; it was as if today was her lucky day because she was met with tons of newspapers right in front of her.

It was a wonder to Lady Melissa how she hadn't touched any of the newspapers in the dark when she had been walking all over the room, trying to find the light switch to turn on the lights.

Lady Melissa stood up, taking one of the bundles that looked the most recent and newest and also less dusty than the rest.

She quickly untied the newspapers that were bundled together and took one of the newspapers that happened to be on the top, reading each of its pages one by one.

The first newspaper, which Lady Melissa assumed to be the earliest of the week, which Lady Melissa assumed was Monday, and that the newspaper that was the last was the latest of the week.

"Jack The Ripper strikes again!"

That was the title for the first newspaper that Lady Melissa had read; curious Lady Melissa read more and more of the newspaper, it gave a lot of already known facts as Jack The Ripper already had a specific type when killing someone such as the person who was murdered was a woman, and a prostitute nonetheless.

'Prostitute...where did I hear those words?'

Lady Melissa thought and thought for several minutes, with her hand on her chin, deeply thinking from where she heard the word 'prostitute.'

Suddenly, Lady Melissa remembered.. She knew exactly where she had heard the word prostitute.
