Lady Melissa continued to run and run until she had been out of breath; this time, however, there was a slight difference from the last time where she had previously snuck out.

This time, she had a plan on how to reach Baron Kevin's estate, which would hopefully work.

After her little sneaking out session yesterday to meet Duke Mason, she had noticed a little detail from the arrows that led to the capital.

It was a shortcut, and Lady Melissa had left some sort of spell on the spot where all the cards had been, just in case anything had happened to her; or that she would need it for future use.

All Lady Melissa needed to do was turn on her elemental sight, and she would see the spots where the cards had initially been.

She knew better than to just cast a spell to which everyone would be able to see it; she cast it for elemental sight users to only be able to see it.

Elemental sight users were the only people who could do both magic and alchemy, and it was a spell that once used, you can never undo; of course, people could turn off their elemental sights, though.

All that was needed for people to turn on their elemental sights after they had turned it off was to say a simple word.

"Sectumsempra!"

Lady Melissa shouted, her voice echoing for a few seconds before silence had come back.

In an instance, Lady Melisa's elemental sight was turned on, and she could see the markings of the card.

For some reason, the markings were purple, but Lady Melissa quickly brushed it off before following the markings on the card to the capital.

As 10-15 minutes had passed, Lady Melissa could feel as if she was getting closer and closer to the capital; she could even hear the noise of the commoners and nobles from here!

She could hear the bustling and crowded capital, which no doubt had children screaming everywhere; and adults drunk everywhere as well.

Lady Melissa walked for a few more minutes, as the sun had started to sink a little, and the weather had gotten a little colder.

Soon after, Lady Melissa arrived at the capital; the first step of her plan was now complete, and it was time for her second step to be put in place.

Lady Melissa quickly brought her right arm forward, curious about what time it was; she brought up the sleeves of her clothes, revealing a simple watch that was given to her by her dad.

The clock indicated that it was exactly 14:25, meaning that Lady Melissa had exactly 35 minutes to reach Baron Kevin's house.

Lady Melissa had made sure she had brought her money, and she dressed up...quite shadily; she wore her clothes under the black coat that she used to cover her face and hair.

The only distinguishable feature was her nose and lips; although her eyes could be seen a little, it was hard to see them.

Lady Melissa looked up in front of her, the bustling capital, crowded with commoners and nobles alike.

Lady Melissa made her way to one of the carriages used by commoners, quickly getting in.

"To the mangrove."

Lady Melissa ordered the driver, who quickly replied with an "okay" before starting their trip.

Lady Melissa knew better than to tell the man that she was in all actuality going to Baron Kevin's estate; after all, she wouldn't want word of it going leaked.

Instead, she told him that she was going to mangrove, a famous location which conveniently happened to be beside Baron Kevin's estate, as in that it was below Baron Kevin's estate, acting as an attraction for commoners.

Baron Kevin's estate was on a hill, and the mangrove was at the bottom of that hill, meaning that Lady Melissa had to walk to the top.

Lady Melissa let her mind wander off for a little while as she reminiscence her old memories with Baron Kevin.

Where they both were good friends, and everything wasn't as complicated as it was now, and where her biggest struggle was running on her two feet.

She longed just to turn back time and simply enjoy things that had happened in the past.

Of course, she was extremely grateful that she was given an opportunity to turn back time once more, cherish her moments with her parents and loved ones; and take revenge on the Crown Prince.

But she wishes she didn't have to deal with all of that; she simply wanted to be a child, not having to be a part of growing up.

If only it were that easy.

Lady Melissa thought, laughing a little bit in the carriage before suddenly the carriage hit a rock, making Lady Melissa jump to the roof of the carriage.

Lady Melissa let out a yelp, surprised about what had just happened, which had led to her snapping out of her thoughts.

"Sorry!"

The driver shouted to Lady Melissa, feeling a little guilty at the sudden bump, which had shocked Lady Melissa.

Lady Melissa quickly shouted out to the driver.

'It's fine!"

Lady Melissa shouted, assuring the driver that the bump was alright and that it wasn't his fault.

Soon after the minor bump incident, the driver shouted out one last time to Lady Melissa before the carriage came to a halt.

"We're here!"

The driver shouted out before the carriage suddenly came to a halt, surprising Lady Melissa once more.

Lady Melissa quickly opened the carriage door, making sure not to step on her coat accidentally.

Although if Lady Melissa had probably stepped on her coat, the smudge or stain wouldn't be seen as much considering it wasn't a white coat, but still Lady Melissa didn't want to dirty something she would often be using in the future.

"Here you go."

Lady Melissa said, handing the man a bunch of silver coins as the driver happily left, leaving Lady Melissa at the mangrove.

Lady Melissa could hear the laughter and happiness coming from a few commoners. At first glance, she could see that although the family was of commoners, it was a wealthy commoner family, not one of the poor ones that you'd often see on the streets.

Well, then again, it made sense; the cost to even reach mangrove had cost a couple of silver coins, which would take 3-4 months for a commoner to earn even five silver coins.

It wasn't much about the distance; but more about the cost of entering the mangrove, the silver coins that Lady Melissa had earlier given to the driver?

She gave him four silver coins; 3 for the entrance fee and one for the driver.

Lady Melissa was, of course, generous enough to give the driver a little extra, which he had happily accepted since there was no telling where he'd get another generous tip.

Lady Melissa walked around the mangrove, seeing the family, two adults, one male and one female, and two children, both consisting of females.

Lady Melissa simply enjoyed the scenery of the mangrove for a few minutes and just enjoyed nature.

The amount of green she saw everywhere she had looked was refreshing; maybe the fact that Baron Kevin was a man for plants influenced the mangrove a little.

The last time Lady Melissa had visited Baron Kevin in his estate, she vividly remembered he had a botanical garden in construction.

Lady Melissa wasn't a huge fan of plants compared to Baron Kevin, but she liked plants as well, not so much as wanting to build a botanical garden for them, though.

She liked plants, but she didn't like the idea of watering them every day, feeling as if she'd probably just forget to water them on a couple of days, and they might die because of it.

Besides, she already had a lot on her plate; this would just add to her burdens, so in the meantime, she'll just stay as a fan for plants.

The sun slowly started to sink by every minute that had passed by, and it was beginning to get windier and windier by the second.

Lady Melissa could always ask the maid or servants to simply water the plants for her, but she didn't want that. If she had something like a plant or a pet, she'd want to take care of it every day.

If she didn't take care of it, she wouldn't be able to have an emotional attachment to the plant or pet, and of course, on some days, if she was just really busy, she wouldn't mind someone taking care of the plant or pet for her.

Lady Melissa was just afraid that she didn't have enough time to water the plant every day.

Lady Melissa didn't want to just buy a plant, only for it to die a couple of days after; she wanted it to grow.

Lady Melissa took a quick walk to the whole of the mangrove, finishing walking the whole of it after a few minutes.

She walked back to the mangrove, seeing the same family there the whole time, having a good time, all smiles and no sadness.
