Only catch was that it would exhaust Lady Melissa, only by a little bit though since the spell wasn't that hard for her, and luckily she was currently at the intermediate level for magic, if she was at the easy or novice level it would exhaust her to death (sarcastic) but you get the point.

Lady Melissa quickly cast her spell, taking out her wand that had so happened to be inside of her pocket, in a matter of seconds the spell was cast.

Basically what she casted was that it would allow her to speed things up in a certain part of her body, which in this case she chose her tongue so it wouldn't take so long for her tongue to bleed out.

She could see that the spell was working already, not instead she could feel it, after all some of the blood, she happened to swallow.

In a few minutes, Lady Melissa had gathered enough blood, the blood that was dripping from her tongue getting less and less by the minute.

Lady Melissa quickly cast the transportation spell, imagining Baron Kevin's estate, but more specifically his room, she didn't want to randomly appear in front of somebody.

Lady Melissa took a deep breath, and in a matter of seconds she disappeared, crossing her fingers, hoping that she had been transported to the right place.

She slowly opened her eyes,hoping that she was AT the right place.

There standing right in front of her, which to her luck just so happened to be Baron Kevin.

Lady Melissa quickly spared a few seconds, glancing at the room just to make sure she really was at the right place.

"Are you done staring around?"

Baron Kevin asked.

"Yep."

Lady Melissa quickly replied, nodding her head.

"You know next time you should...I don't know maybee give me a little warning before giving me a mini heart-attack?"

Baron Kevin said, emphasizing on the mini heart-attack part, as he indeed had a mini-heart attack.

"You don't look like you just had a mini heart-attack."

Lady Melissa densely and bluntly replied to Baron Kevin, who had been joking about the mini heart attack.

Though he hadn't been joking about anything else, Lady Melissa should've really given him a warning or notice before she decided to suddenly transport here.

"Right, sorry, my bad Kev, won't happen again."

Lady Melissa said, apologizing to Baron Kevin as she had only just realized that she hadn't given him any notice that she would be coming so early in the morning.

"Better not happen again. Now, let's discuss the plan, go grab a chair or something, we have a lot to discuss."

Baron Kevin said, sitting down on the chair that was on his desk. While Lady Melissa quickly took the sofa that happened to be beside Baron Kevin's desk.

After hours of Lady Melissa and Baron Kevin discussing the plan, as well as Lady Melsisa getting ready, the both of them were ready.

"Let's go."

Baron Kevin said, quickly getting ahold of Lady Melissa before the both of them had transported in one of empty the alleyways near whitechapel.

"Stay right here Mel."

Baron Kevin said, quickly leaving her before she could even say anything else.

Lady Melissa assumed that Baron Kevin was gathering his back up, staying still.

Minutes passed, and Lady Melissa waited and waited yet for some reason Baron Kevin still wasn't there.

"I wonder where he is."

Lady Melissa thought, her heart beating a little faster now as it was starting to get darker and darker by the minute.

She quickly checked the time using the watch that was on her right wrist, and it currently was 1 AM.

Every second that had passed, and Lady Melissa started to get more and more worried, had something happened to Baron Kevin?

'Maybe he's just encountering some difficulties, I'm sure nothing bad happened to him.'

Lady Melissa thought, trying to assure herself that her childhood friend, Baron Kevin was safe and sound.

Lady Melissa was however suddenly snapped away from her thoughts, hearing footsteps from behind her.

"Kev! You're finally here, you know I was starting to get bored waiting and waiting for you, I thought something happened to you. Phew."

Lady Melissa said, while turning her back forward, not being able to clearly see the face of the person who was walking towards her,although he was wearing different clothes, she brushed it off thinking he just had a change of clothes or something.

Lady Melissa however assumed it was Baron Kevin, after all who else would it be if not him right?

Lady Melissa walked closer and closer, yet for some reason he wasn't responding to her, Lady Melissa brushed it off thinking that Baron Kevin was probably dreaming or maybe he wanted to surprise her.

"Kev, next time don't go out for so long, you gave me quite the shock waiting here all alone, so next time maybe just you know tell me what you were going for?"

Lady Melissa asked, wondering what Baron Kevin had been doing the entire time while she was waiting for him.

Baron Kevin was still not saying anything and Lady Melissa felt irritated as if Baron Kevin was ignoring her.

"Kev don't ignore me."

Lady Melissa said, starting to get irritated at Baron Kevin, who was still not even saying anything to her.

Lady Melissa had enough of it, she quickly ran to him, putting her arm on his shoulder, Lady Melissa then looked up.

This was NOT Baron Kevin.

All of a sudden the man suddenly twisted Lady Melissa's arm, and quickly used his other arm to take a knife from the inner pocket of his jacket.

Lady Melisss quickly adapted to the situation though, in a matter of seconds she was out of Baron Kevin's grip on her arm.

Lady Melissa took a few steps back, readying her stance for what was to come, and oh boy she felt exhilarated

The blood rushed through her veins and her heart was pumping as fast as ever, but at the same time she was afraid of what was going to happen.
