The Villainous Emperor Is My Pet?

Chapter 28 - Only reserved for a special person

Dante didn't laugh. He knew that the woman would find him suspicious. She was already acting differently.

The deity did warn him about this. Even if the book was restarted from her revival point and everything was repeated, it didn't mean that things would go the same way.

She didn't fall for his abs at first sight.

Did she lie to him on her deathbed?

It was possible that she lied. Savina had that personality. She knew how to make him mad.

Not falling for his abs? Then, what did she fall for? She said that she wanted something, but she died before she could finish her words. Savina broke his first curse. The least that he could do for her was fulfilling her wish. But it was possible that she wouldn't have the same wish after her revival.

They must follow the rules of the book. This game had to be played again. The only difference was that he remembered everything and Savina needed to survive until the end of the book. His life was connected with her now. That was the deal with the deity.

He couldn't tell her that he knew her real identity. He had to pretend to be the villain while following the rules of the book and protecting this transmigrator from her doom.

The doom? It was the book itself. The deity mentioned that the book would never let him leave. If Savina could break the second curse, the book would be destroyed.

Savina would decide his fate.

Why did he sign up for something like that when he could have waited for the next transmigrator?

He exhaled. It was difficult to act like his past self who didn't remember his past. He didn't want to say similar things because it was embarrassing. Also, he wanted to use this transmigrator's words on her. It pleased him to see her fl.u.s.tered. Didn't she do the same to him?

"I will make you the emperor," She said to him. It was funny. He didn't even want to be emperor, but he had to do it because it was the only way he could predict what the book would do next. Savina was already acting like a different woman.

Didn't fall in love with his abs… He couldn't get over this. Why didn't she fall for him this time? It should have happened already. Did he do something wrong? He treated her better than last time.

The corner of his lips curled down. She didn't fall for his abs. Then, what would make her fall for him again? But how did she know that he wouldn't be good in bed? If he wanted to, he could make her scream all night in p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e.

Her perception skills were strong.

He didn't have any d.e.s.i.r.e for her body. And he didn't feel love for her. It wasn't like he had never been with a woman before, although it had been a long time. He couldn't even remember the face of the woman he had slept with. But he couldn't feel d.e.s.i.r.e yet.

Emotions were slowly returning to him. He knew anger. It was the first emotion he felt because of her. He felt disgusted because of her l.e.w.d words and actions. She practically molested him back then. Then, the sadness came to him when she died. He felt a little joy when he saw her again after her revival.

There are eight basic emotions: anger, disgust, sadness, joy, anticipation, fear, trust, and surprise. Only four of them had come back to him.

But he didn't want her to suffer because of love again. Dante thought that it was good if she didn't fall for him this time. It would save him from embarrassing situations.

"Didn't you hear me?" She scowled at him. "Don't even think about killing your father. I will make you the emperor. Trust me."

Well, he couldn't trust her. Trusting someone was a weakness. He trusted himself. Wasn't that enough? "Have you slept with someone before?"

He had never asked her about her experience with men before. Dante already assumed that she had many experiences with men because of the way she acted. Even though he was more than two-thousand-years old, he still hadn't met any woman who would dare to grope him down there except for this shameless pervert who would boast about her talent in seduction.

She failed in seducing him though.

"I am offended by this question," She replied calmly.

The question was offensive indeed. He shouldn't have asked that. Dante opened his mouth to apologize.

"But I will tell you anyway." The woman sat beside him. "I have enough experience. Actually, men were crazy about me. Do you know how many times men have asked me out? Oh, you wouldn't know. I have lost counts. But I have only slept with one man so far. But he taught me many things…"

She wrinkled her nose. "Though, he's even more hateful than you are."

More hateful than him? Dante inhaled sharply. Why did she hate him? He s.u.c.k.e.d her poison, and fed her, brought her home in a carriage. She was given better lodging and clothes than last time. He made sure that the entire palace knew that she was his woman. It would give her some status. She would be treated well by the servants. Did she not understand this?

All she cared about was her red hair. Because she always cried about missing her glorious red hair last time, he commanded a prince to give up on the dye that was a gift for the current emperor.

And her hair didn't look bad on her. It was better than her yellow hair that was too bright for his eyes.

"But my special skills are only reserved for a special person." She gave him a look. "Don't even think about taking me to your bed. We will never have that kind of relationship."

Did the deity fool him? Was this the same woman who stripped her clothes and dragged him to the bed once?
