The White Necromancer

There are many trees around. And there were countless red fruits on the trees. It is the fruit of Pom, a specialty of this village.

“Come on, say it with spirit!”

“Yes, I understand!”

　A start signal is issued by a middle-aged man. The three of us answer cheerfully.

　The three are me, Gilly, and Mia’. We have come to help with the harvest of the Pom.

　 The middle-aged man is Mia’s father. A macho type with red hair.  He also owns the farm we’re at.

　Pom trees grow everywhere in this village.  They are what the villagers eat and use in many dishes. This farm grows what is shipped out of the village.

　At the signal of Mia’s father we are scattered. 

　Pom trees are not very tall trees. At best, it’s high enough for an adult man to reach out. Therefore, if you use a springboard, even a child can harvest the lower half.

　And the upper half will be harvested by Mia’s father and Mia’s mother. Mia’s mother was moving to Mia, and Mia’s father was moving to me.

” Alex is a hard worker, huh?”

“Thank you.”

　Mia’s father folded his arms and nodded with satisfaction.

“Doesn’t Alex want to marry Mia?”

“Hmm. I don’t really understand marriage.”

　It’s still a straightforward question. I have the appearance of a child so I avoid that question by acting like one.

　However, Mia’s father does not give up and persists. This macho man seems to really like the idea.

“Mia is cute and has a good personality. Doesn’t Alex like Mia?”

“Yeah. I like her.”

“Then, don’t think so hard. Mia seems to like Alex. I’m sure you’ll be a good couple in the future”

　Macho man wears a happy smile now.

　When I was worried about how to deal with this unpleasant matter I saw Mia running from a few Pom trees over. Apparently, as usual, it looks like she will settle this.

“Hey, daddy! What are you talking to Alex about?”

　Mia’s face i8s bright red and lifted her eyes. Macho’s voice is quite loud so it must have reached Mia.

　Mia has red hair inherited from her father, it braided and fell down her back. Her face similar to her mothers, very cute.

“We were talking about what about beautiful kids you and Alex will have in the future.”

“I’m always telling you to stop ! Marriage is still early for us!”

　Mia glares at her father with a bright red face. However, I glanced at her face and asked what was going on.

　The shy face is cute, but unfortunately, I don’t have the lolicon attitude. I think the destructive power will be high in 10 years, though.

“It’s okay. Ten years is so fast. And you don’t want Alex to marry another woman?”

“Well… yeah…”

　Mia said that meekly and her blush deepened. A scary thought, but I don’t have to worry about it at the moment.

　There is no girl near my age in this village other than Mia. All the women in the village are over 5 years old.

“Then, you have to catch it, this opportunity soon as possible . What should I do with your engagement from now on?”

“Be quiet! I hate daddy even more!”

　Mia screams and runs away. Mia’s father follows her and teased her all the way.

“Ufufu. Sorry for the noise.”

　Mia’s mother comes to replace them. I continue working as she continues talking.

　Mia’s mother has brown hair tied behind her. Her face is very similar to Mia, and Mia’s future looks very promising, she’s very pretty.

“Both of us love Alex very much. “

“Well, thank you …”

　There are things that are embarrassing when people say that they like you so clearly.

　Moreover, she is about 25 years old and has a soft atmosphere. She is like an older sister, and I admired her a bit.

” I’d be happy if you could marry Mia. If you feel like it, tell me. I’ll do my best to support you!”

“Oh, yes……”

　Mia’s mother’s smile is soft. But her eyes are completely raptor’s eyes. Apparently, all parents are all locked on.

　Suddenly I remembered and turned to Gilly. The completely forgotten brother continues to harvest alone silently.

　His back is bent. I can’t see his face from here, but I think I understand the current situation.

“Gilly …”

Thinking about my brother’s feelings, I almost burst into tears. I endured the tears and decided to return to the harvesting work.

　And I vowed to give all of today’s rewards to Gilly.
