The Wizard’s Love Spell

"Haven't you seen Hogwarts before? I thought you got a tour?" Philip said.

"Yeah... but not in the dark. It's looks amazing. The lights.."

"Just wait til you see the Great Hall." Kaylene said.

They got off the train, Jane walked with Isabella. The rest followed behind, Mira and Adam got off last. They walked for a while before getting to carriages that were being lead by some weird creatures. They had wings and were sort of like horses but with more leathery skin. She'd heard about these creatures. Threstrals. They could only be seen by those who have seen death.

She rather not remember...

"Come On Isabella!" Jane yelled. Isabella hurried to catch up. The carriage was a bumpy ride but it was cool. She got to see part of the forbidden Forest.

And Adam had officially stolen Mira's book.

"You won't get it back now, Nym!" He chuckled.

"Don't call me that!" A slight blush was visible on her cheeks. She rolled her eyes at him. Isabella was sure there was something between them now. Perhaps she'd ask Jane later.

Hogwarts was flooded with students. Pleasant chatter filled the halls and there was an ambient mood all around.

"Sir Nicolas! How was your summer?" When Isabella turned to see who Jane was talking to, she was shocked to see a ghost. There had never been any ghosts at Beauxbatons. This was school was so much different than the elegant school she was accustomed to. But she much preferred Hogwarts already.

"I've once again been denied at the Headless Hunt. You'd think after so much time they'd let me in!" He drifted off, muttering to himself. Jane shook Isabella because she was still standing there gaping at the ghosts. Philip teased "what? You never seen a ghost before?"

"Everyone get seated at your tables!" Professor Longbottom yelled. He smiled in recognition when he saw Isabella.

Isabella looked up at the ceiling, only, there seemed to be no ceiling. It looked like the night sky, swirls of black, with stars that speckled the sky. So much about this school was mesmerizing.

"Alright see y'all later!" Jane and Philip left with some Hufflepuffs and sat at one of the middle tables. Lillian and Olivia left to the Gryffindor table, Michelle and Kaylene went to the Slytherin table. Isabella followed Mira and Adam to the Ravenclaw table. She sat next to Mira, who introduced her to some other Ravenclaws. Adam was on the other side of Mira, chatting with some guys. Isabella heard them mention Quidditch. She knew Adam was a chaser, and wondered if perhaps she could join Quidditch.

A loud booming voice suddenly filled the room.

"Hello Students! Welcome back to another year at Hogwarts! Just a couple reminders for those of you who seem to forget the rules. The Forbidden Forest is forbidden! No entering unless you are accompanied by a professor or administrator. Third years- if your slip to hogsmeade is not signed, you will not go. And now, for first year's sorting! Then we shall feast!" The man who was talking was Professor Avery, he was the Headmaster, a previous Ravenclaw, from what Mira told Isabella.

The sorting went on for a while, a lot of the incoming students looked scared of the hat. The Ravenclaws had a few new additions, but Hufflepuff seemed to get most of them.

When Professor Avery made the food appear Isabella was suddenly aware of how hungry She was. She had eaten a chocolate frog earlier but now she was starving.

There were foods of every kind. She wanted to try one of everything.

In the end she almost did. In France, it was always required to eat a salad before the main meal. Food distribution was very important there. Isabella chatted with many more people, it all was going well. At the end of the meal, students were told to take off to their dormitories. Luckily, Isabella knew where to go. She talked with Mira on their way up.

"Hey man why do you keep looking over there? Is it that Ravenclaw chick?"

"Shut up man." Nick said. He continued eating but every now and then he glanced at her.

"Bye Nym!"

"Shut up Bradlee!"

"Hey! No middle names!"

Mira and Isabella disappeared into their dormitory before Adam could say anything else.
