However, if one looked at this city, one could tell the extreme difference than other cities in this kingdom of Annesly. It has lower walls defending the city and above that wall, there are soldiers and guards completely cladded with unique red armors and sharp spears and sword; carrying it either on their waist or on their backs.

These guards strength are more than powerful than in the average cities in the surrounding on the map of Annesly. All of these guards and soldiers are qualified to protect the city if they had all the ranks of a paladin.

These soldiers are trained to be fierce and loyal to the city of emerald as they are extremely trained by the powerful figures of the Shi Clan, the top ten major clans in the continent of Celestia.

The Shi clan that most likely the controlled the entire city, they govern the entire city thus making the lord of this city is naturally one of them. The members of soldiers mostly consist from Shi Clan making their resources abundant and powerful than average soldiers of the kingdom of the Annesly.

Moreover, because of this, the city rose faster than its peers did on the kingdom as it dominates everyone after the kingdom lost its two major cities after the war. Now, the economic powers of Annesly are only relying on this city and to their bad luck, they don't run or owned the entire city despite it was located on their lands.

The new king had tried to reach his hands on this city and tried to create ties with the Shi Clan that previous king did not bother to do and care in seldom.

And because of this, the Shi Clan had grown tremendously influential in this country making it feels like they are the top owner of the kingdom and this is the fact that most royals from the palace irritated by this shamelessness and became a dog for these people in a single clan.

And just for the sake of the stability and rise the kingdom to power again, the king agreed to the city lord and the patriarch of the Shi Clan's conditions.

Now, not only the kingdom will recover from their loss, the Shi Clan had also grown tremendously influential and powerful, it was also stated that in a few years time, it would be possible to overcome the ninth major sect in the continent of Celestia and to its effect, the clan members of the entire clan had burned with passion, pride, and slight arrogance while trying to romance the entire population of the kingdom of Annesly by gracefully lowering the taxes and prices of goods and services in their established cities.

Shi Xiaoyan, the most powerful and influential character to this date had left a blinding image in the hearts of the common people as for he is the current patriarch of the Shi Clan, and the governor or the city lord of the entire city of emerald.

Now, the city is still bustling with noises and today is a special day because today is the day that the two princesses of the kingdom are going to visit the Clan for them to meet their political fiancé from the Shi Clan.

Far away from city gates on the main road, there is a heavy traffic of public carriages and because of this, some passengers had chosen to walk by foot rather than waiting inside the carriage and waste their time waiting in the carriage to move.

Among these people who had chosen to walk are three people wearing unique clothing but what stands up the most are those two a.d.u.l.t companions of the youth who wore black leather clothes and robes with a mask covering their faces.

While the youth with them had brunette hair and has a fierce look on his face yet calm at the same time; he wore clothing from middle-class family and if from earth was to describe his clothing, it would be similar from middle class from Victorian-era clothing. Shane voice worriedly said, however, due to her mask, her voice was amplified making it sound cold or might be out of emotions.

Hearing this, Cyrus faintly shook his head, "I know, however, I was thinking... If father's blood essence was used to heal my half-crippled cultivation, is there anything else that can happen to my body? Like, having a strong strength?" Cyrus asked that his parents could only hear.

Soon, Cyrus' group was next as they walk towards the guards and soldiers up ahead of them in silence. Once they noticed the three and felt that these three have a background, they lessened their arrogance but still showed their pride.

The three did not hook up to any trouble as they easily passed the entrance as they entered the city.

What Cyrus had seen was a fascinating view of great buildings!

Each building are made out of strong wood that is painted in red and some are natural colored, these buildings have pagoda-like roofing which corners of the roof are pointed upwards, and many buildings here are fifteen storey tall, and the highest one that Cyrus had seen is on the middle of the city which is twenty storey tall.

The roads are wide apart, but despite this, the people are here are too crowded and noisy at the same time.

'I see, basically, this is like a city version of a china town... Amazing.'

Cyrus thought to himself as he was immersed and impressed at the same time when he looked around the city.

What he had also noticed that the people around here wore different clothing than he wore, if one looked to him, he would surely look like a foreigner among them.

"Amazing..." Cyrus could not help to utter these words again but spoken aloud this time.
