"Your father and I ensure you that we will find you guys after our mission is finished, however, we don't how long it would take but I'll promise you that." Shane softly held Cyrus's cheeks while giving the softest and warmest smile that Cyrus had seen on his life.

"Yeah, alright..." Cyrus nodded, as he steeled his heart and regain his composure once more.

"Alright, I'll give you something quite special." Shane gave a wooden box at Cyrus when he receives it by both of his hands, he suddenly felt something unique about the box he's holding.

Such a pure yet extreme aura it gives, I wonder what is this? Cyrus could only wonder as he accepted the gift of his parents before storing these gifts using Lynae as it disappeared on Cyrus' hands.

"Mother, Father... Thank you for these gifts. I'll treasure these two gifts that you have given me." Cyrus bowed at his parents slightly before giving them a soft hug.

Finally, both James and Shane using their skill, the three of them disappeared before reappearing inside the royal city, especially on the train station. Who would have thought that the number of people around here was so many, due to Cyrus introversion, he was extremely overwhelmed due to his personal space being invaded all around him.

Hearing this, Shane tensed up a bit as she stared at her son with her eyes swelling due to the tears building up.

Meanwhile, James seeing his wife couldn't speak up, he moves forward and touched Cyrus' shoulder.

"Son, that is your train. Here's your ticket." James was a lot better compared to Shane who couldn't calm her swelling emotions.

"Huh, so this is it..." Hearing his father's words, Cyrus was in a daze a bit before looking at his parents one more last time. He was engraving these images on his eyes towards his heart so that it'll encourage him to move forward when he's all alone.

"Mother... Father..." Cyrus spreads his hands wide and hugged both of his parents tightly. The two were quite startled before hugging Cyrus back. Shane couldn't contain her emotions any longer, as soon as Cyrus hugged her along with her husband, she burst in tears.

"S...Son, uggh... I love you..." Shane's voice was hoarse, it was full of unwillingness yet it was showered with love. Cyrus, hearing this, his feelings were also overwhelmed as tears had also built up and it did only took a second as this tears finally slid down to his cheeks.

"You have... to know... That I am very proud of you my son, I am lucky to have a son... as you are." Shane, with both of her hands, held Cyrus' cheeks soon, what Cyrus had felt was a gentle and warm kiss on his forehead.

Such kiss was filled with motherly love that Cyrus had quickly accepted these feelings to the bottom of his heart as he savored this love that his mother gave. He was lucky. He felt that he was lucky to have a mother like her.

Seeing this, James felt bitter on his heart seeing his wife crying and unwilling he was angry to himself that he couldn't give a better life to his wife that wanted a normal life with her children and growing old together to see their children's progress and their future.

Yet their situation held these dreams and was crushed due to the circ.u.mstances that burden them, a burden that couldn't be lifted, and a burden that couldn't be let go and all of these were for the sake of the safety of their children.

James, with his hands, tightly clutched hugged Cyrus tight, "As your father, I will assure you, by the time we returned back we'll have a normal and peaceful life! That's a promise!"

"Yeah." Despite the tightness of his father's hugged, Cyrus wasn't bothered as he nodded and tapped the back of his father's back, releasing him.

Cyrus pushed himself away from his parents and smiled at them softly. "Mother, Father I've got to go."

"Yeah... Farewell, my son."

"Take care of yourself and be careful towards your path, and also... Protect your sister."

Hearing this, Cyrus with his right hand clutched into a fist, he smacked this fist towards his c.h.e.s.t as he assured, "You bet!"

Just like that, Cyrus turned around and walked towards the train 108, soon his figure was covered by people on the station as he vanished on his parent's sight.

James stares to where Cyrus was walked to, before looking at his wife whose crying. With a sigh, James held Shane's hand and suddenly the two of them were back on the outside wall where the three of them once have been.

Suddenly, Shane's legs got weak as she leans at James to prevent herself from collapsing.

James tightly held her, "You can cry now... If possible, shout and spill those emotions..." He softly said as he c.a.r.e.s.sed her hair softly.

Soon, a sound barrier covered the two of them, Shane forcefully and tightly hugged James as she borrows her head at his c.h.e.s.t. Soon, she released all the emotions that have been built up to her heart as cried in agony, and sadness.

James while c.a.r.e.s.sing her back, "You're such a cry baby..." he softly muttered before looking above the skies as he let Shane showers her emotions and released them towards him, but despite his actions, deep inside of his heart, he felt weak that in any moment now, he could also collapse.

When Cyrus has finally settled down on the train, he felt weak and sad, but a couple minute later he shook his head and dismissed all the negative emotions that have been built up in his heart.

I need some air... Cyrus disliked this empty cart especially when he's having negative emotions. He opened the window and jumped straight to the roof of the train.

The train had long departed from the station and the train had already left the walls of the city. Cyrus looked back at the city and he noticed two figure was floating above the skies of the city.

He couldn't see their faces but he knew these were his parents.

When they saw the train has finally departed, Both James and Shane turned towards Southeast, using all of their strength as they pumped up their emperor rank anima, they blasted away in hypersonic speed creating multiple shockwaves and a large sonic boom creating ripples on the skies.

Seeing them left, he was surprised at the power of his parents yet sad at the same time.

"Sigh..." Cyrus exhaled in a tired manner, he sat crosslegged before closing his eyes.

As he relaxed his breathing and focused his thoughts inside the world he has, when he opened his eyes, he was already inside of his dantian.

As soon as he appeared there, Lynae caught his presence and quickly called him excitedly, "Master! Look at my new dress!" Lynae showed her clothes at Cyrus while spinning around.

Seeing her in new clothes, he was surprised how cool Lynae looked like. She wore the clothes he had bought, it was a long blue dress, she also fixed her hair in a low ponytail, with her bangs side swept with clips.

"Wow! It fits you nicely! You look great Lynae!" Seeing her happy and excited, Cyrus couldn't help to feel relieved that he has her, if not, the sadness within his heart would remain longer than now.

Hearing his compliment, Lynae meekly giggled with before smiling at Cyrus softly that could make any men soften their heart and would do anything to protect those smile of hers.

"Lynae, Where's Lily?" Cyrus asked.

"Hm? She's behind that egg."

Lynae pointed her finger towards the human size phoenix egg, Cyrus nodded and walked towards Lily. Lynae was about to follow when she suddenly remembered that this time she should refill Cyrus anime so that the shallow river of anima wouldn't get dry.

Since the day she was given this task by Cyrus, this became her daily routine every five minutes and she would do it happily and wouldn't complain either do to the fact she felt that she finally could do something helpful for Cyrus.

When Cyrus arrived near the phoenix egg, he peeked behind the egg and saw Lily sitting on the floor while her hands extended leaning it on the egg, Cyrus had felt that she was transferring her anima towards the egg with her pure phoenix anima. When the egg had been transferred to Cyrus' dantian, he felt that the phoenix egg have no aura emitting from it, but now, years had passed the egg have already terrifying aura radiating from it.

In fact, it had already exceeded Cyrus'!

Having a cold sweat crawling his back, he turned to Lily and he was surprised to what he had seen.

Lily was beautiful, in fact, she was beyond beautiful that could make the world topple upside down! Now that she wears red hanfu clothes, full of beautiful embroidery, this hanfu clothes made Cyrus speechless, it was simple looking yet it was also extremely beautiful, now that it was being worn by the most beautiful woman that Cyrus had ever met.

Cyrus couldn't help to take a gulp of his saliva down to his throat, he also couldn't help to blush lightly, seeing her beautiful, he couldn't help to smile.

Sensing Cyrus' presence, when she glanced at Cyrus she was startled before grunting in disgust,

"Oh god, stop making that face that creeps me out."

"S-sorry." Scratching his head in embarrassment, he apologized.

"Lily, how long does it will take before this egg to hatch?" He asked as he lightly tapped the thick and tough eggshell.

With a soft sigh, she slowly stood up and faced Cyrus, "Well, it'll take time by years before it could hatch, nothing no worry for now." She said.

Years before could hatch? Damn, Phoenixes are really amazing, with that kind of aura in just a few years being inside of my dantian is already scary, these guys are scary as f.u.c.k!

Although Lily had been always active in hearing and seeing the things happening on the outside world, she intentionally cut of her hearing and senses on the outside world due to the fact that she wanted to respect Cyrus' family time. It was, after all, has nothing to do with her, why bother?

Seeing a strange feeling on the book on Cyrus' hands, Lily muttered in amus.e.m.e.nt, "Your father is also indeed from the outside world huh."

"Yeah..." Cyrus agreed, and he did not think of it that much since his mother is from the outside world so it wouldn't be strange if his father isn't from the outside world.

Out of curiosity Lily slowly touched the book, and soon she felt that her hand is being burned by something thus hurting her.

"Ouch!"

"H-Hey are you okay?"

"Damn, your father can make me feel ashamed! As a phoenix born and practices fire and getting burned is putting me to shame!" Lily grunted as she tried to suck her finger.

"It seems that your father put an extreme restriction to that book, even spirits couldn't touch it. Well, it was no wonder it is, after all, his cultivation techniques and skills."

"Woah, Father can do that? That's cool!" Cyrus exclaimed in amazement while staring on the book with his eyes sparkling like a kid first time seeing and tasting ice cream.

Cyrus c.a.r.e.s.sed the book cover before slowly opening the book, Lily, who's burning with curiosity walk around and stood behind Cyrus to see the contents of the book, to her disappointment she saw nothing but a blank page.

While she's waiting for Cyrus to turn the leaf page, she noticed that Cyrus seemed way too focused on reading the blank page.

"Hey, turn it to the next page." She poked Cyrus shoulders while staring at the book.

"Huh? Wait, I'm still reading the introduction."

Startled, Lily on her disappointment could on sigh inwardly before turning around, "What? So you're the only one can see it? Boring."

"Eh? Seriously?" Cyrus was surprised when he heard that, to his eyes, the words are crystal clear, he could clearly see it, there's even a speck excess ink to it.

"Father is seriously awesome..."
