The World Of Pokemon 2.0

"Pikachu! Damn it!" Eric recalled the fainted Pikachu into it's Pokeball. "Pidgey return! We can't fight out of this one!" He shouted as he tried to recall Pidgey, who was knocked on the ground by the Mankey's attack.

Eric knew that even with Pidgey's type advantage, they couldn't win as he also felt threatened by the arrival of Primeape. 'It must be on a higher level!'

[Cha!!] Pidgey seemed to know the exact timing of the recall beam and dodged to the side before taking off to the skies. It has never run away from a fight before, and it wasn't going to start now!

Pidgey knew that it would be reprimand by its trainer later, but it had to get stronger!

It had too!

[Chaaa!] Pidgey screeched loudly as it used another Quick Attack and slammed against the Mankey that previously attacked it. The Quick Attack was stronger than usual and sent the Mankey flying across the forest until it smashed into a tree.

It fainted on the spot.

[Rrrrrrggh!] Primeape didn't like seeing its subordinates injured, and appeared in front of Pidgey almost like a ghost when it was least expected!

[Rrrrrgh!] Primeape's right fist started to glow with intense light as electricity formed around it giving it a yellow hue. It was going to use Thunder Punch!

"Not good!"

[Chaa?!] Pidgey was stunned as this Primeape moved so fast that it managed to sneak up on it. However, it knew that that move couldn't hit it or it would be finished! Pidgey immediately sharpened its senses and miraculously used Gust at the very last second to change directions avoiding the attack.

[Rrrrggh!] Primeape landed on the ground after missing its attack, and it wasn't happy. It would stomp its feet in anger and charge at Pidgey again.

However, this time, Pidgey was ready for it and used it's most powerful move it currently knows.

Air Slash!

[Chaa!! Chaa!! Chaa!!] Pidgey sent wave after wave of air towards Primeape with its tiny wings with hopes of hitting it, but unfortunately, the Primeape was too fast!

"Damn it, this not the time to be stubborn!" Eric felt as if he didn't know Pidgey anymore. 'Why was it so adamant on fighting?!' He shouted inwardly as he continued to recall Pidgey to its Pokeball unknowingly getting closer to the battle.

[Rrrrrgh!] Primeape dodged every single Air Slash with its superior speed, and seeing its territory damaged made it so angry that its fur turned red. It was losing to its anger.

Pidgey thought that if it keeps this up, then it will have the perfect chance to attack, but it made a fatal mistake!

It forgot about the last Mankey!

[Rrrgh!] Mankey was sneaking through the trees the entire time Pidgey was occupied with Primeape and seized the perfect time to catch Pidgey. It jumped high into the air and clamped its hands over Pidgey's wings removing its ability to fly!

*Boom!*

Pidgey slammed into the ground with Mankey on top of it, pain shooting throughout its body, but that wasn't the worst of it.

[Rrrrrgh..] Primeape slowly approached Pidgey, glaring down at it as it started to kick its face over and over again. Each time it was harder than the last as it wanted to vent its anger.

"Grrr..." Eric gritted his teeth as he watched his Pidgey being abused by Primeape. He was scared of it like terrified, but he more than that he was angry. It was if something inside him snapped, and wanted nothing more than to beat the Primeape senseless.

'"Who gives a shit if you're a Pokemon?!" He shouted as he found himself charging towards Primeape with his left fist c.o.c.ked back.

[Charmander!!] Charmander shared its trainer's anger and charged along with him. It still hated Pidgey, but even it couldn't stand seeing it injured so severely. It dashed in front of Eric with its left claw overhead and used Scratch on Mankey.

[Rrrrghh!] Mankey turned around as soon as Charmander was upon it, and screeched in pain from the attack hitting its face, causing it to let go of Pidgey.

[Chaaar!] Charmander then used Ember on the stunned Mankey, causing it to screech once again in pain before it ran away.

[Cha..a] Pidgey was weakened significantly, but it managed to drag itself to its feet after some effort. It was surprised by Charmander helping it, but unfortunately, it was too injured to fly.

[Rrrrrgh!] Primeape was focused entirely on Pidgey as it was already angered by it. It suddenly raised its right hand in the air as it once again glowed with an intense light with electricity swarming around it.

It was another Thunder Punch!

At that moment, millions of thoughts flashed through Eric's head, but the most prevalent ones were, 'Do Pokemon die?... Yes, they do die... Will Pidgey die?... But the anime... This isn't the anime! No! I won't let this happen!!' He couldn't think about it anymore and moved in front of Pidgey with his arms covering his face.

*Boom!*

"F.U.C.K THIS HUURRTS!! DAMN YOU PIDGEY!" Eric shouted as he grimaced in pain from the attack. He could feel his entire body being painfully shocked by the electricity, but the worse pain was coming from his arms.

*Creak...Crack!*

Eric stared at his arms in disbelief as they suddenly went limp, but that feeling was quickly replaced by pain, a terrible unimaginable pain. "AAAAAAAAH!" He howled in pain with tears filling his eyes and fell onto the ground.

[Charmander!!] Charmander frantically rushed over to its trainer, and cried as it didn't know what to do.

[Chaaa!!!] Pidgey couldn't believe what just happened and immediately started to blame itself as screeched loudly towards the sky.

It's my fault...

[CHAAA!!]Suddenly, Pidgey could feel something happening to it as tears fell from its eyes. A strange light would wrap around Pidgey's body, and almost instantly, it started to grow.

It was evolving into a Pidgeotto!

[Pichaaa!!] Pidgeotto immediately spreads out its large wings and flies into the sky with one flap of its powerful wings. It couldn't even be happy for its evolution as it was focused on getting revenge!

[Rrrrrggh!!] Primeape was still focused on its opponent, who was the now Pidgeotto and completely ignored everything else as it chased after it.

[Piichaaa!!] Pidgeotto screeched loudly as it instantly turned around and dived towards Primeape with fantastic speed. Pidgeotto's figure would even momentarily disappear from Primeape's sight from how fast it was moving.

It used Aerial Ace!

[Rrrrrgh!!] Primeape was too slow to dodge, and it was hit by the super-effective move Aerial Ace! The pain it felt was terrible as it was flying across the forest along with Pidgeotto, but it wouldn't be finished with this move!

Pidgeotto could tell that even though its move was strong, it wouldn't defeat Primeape as it was already weakened from early.

It needed more... A stronger attack!

[Chaaa!] Pidgeotto's eyes instantly shined with an intense light as its body burst into red flames before turning blue, and before Primeape could do anything, it was slammed against a tree with Brave Bird!

*BOOM!*

*Ding! 2000 exp gained from defeating wild king Primeape.*

*Pikachu's exp unable to rise due to it being fainted*

*Pidgeotto's exp raised by... Wow! So Much! Ding! Pidgeotto leveled up to 22!*

*Charmander's exp raised by... a lot! Ding! Charmander leveled up to 7*

*Ding! For defeating a strong opponent Str and Vit raised by +5*

"That's...good, you bastard..." Eric muttered softly after witnessing Pidgeotto's last move before he passed out.

An entire day would pass by before Eric found himself awake in an unknown bed." Where?..." He g.r.o.a.n.e.d as he slowly roused from his slumber.

"Oh, you're awake. I was afraid that I'd have to send you to a real doctor." A feminine voice gently said.

Eric slowly looked in the direction of the voice. " Huh?.." He would see a beautiful dark-blue haired girl nursing his Pidgeotto.

The girl was somewhat tall with a face and aura around her that demanded anyone to ensure her safety. She was wearing dark red overalls with golden buttons over her pink shirt and orange sneakers. Her choice in clothing seemed to reflect her kind and humble personality that even Pokemon could feel.

Eric knew this girl as he remembered her from when Ash got his Bulbasaur in the anime. The giant green bow in her hair made it easy to remember.

It was Melanie... The girl from the hidden village even though she's the only one living here in a small log cabin.

Melanie shortly finished with Pidgeotto and dragged her small wooden stool over to Eric's bedside before sitting down. "When I found you, you were in terrible shape. You're Pidgeotto and Charmander were dragging you to safety. At first, I couldn't get close to you but eventually, they trusted me."

"Pidgeotto?...Charmander..." Eric muttered softly with a smile as he noticed the sleeping two. He was glad that they were both alright, but then he realized something. "Pi-Pikachu..."

[Pika? Pika!!] Pikachu heard its trainer from outside the log cabin and rushed over. It then jumped onto the bed and slowly crawled until it was near Eric's face, rubbing its head against his cheek.

"Oh, yeah, Pikachu came out of its Pokeball on its own not too long ago and thought its trainer was kidnapped. I had to nurse it back to health as well." Melanie giggled softly as she remembered the scene.

"Thank you...I'll-" Eric tried to get up, but immediately a terrible pain would shoot through his arms rending him unable to sit up. "My...arms?.."

"They... Your arms were cleanly snapped in half...I'm not sure of what happened.. But.." Melanie was in a difficult position. Sure she wanted to take this boy to a doctor, but she needed to stay behind to protect the injured Pokemon. 'If it wasn't for those poachers...'

Eric only laid there in silence as he didn't know what to do in his current situation. 'Healing stuff like this in the real world would take months and I'm not sure if I could do that..'

The mood in the cabin quickly plummeted that is until Eric heard a familiar sound.

*Ding! Trainer has suffered terrible damage and must recover. 48 hours until full recovery*
