The World Of Pokemon 2.0

One would probably rush towards the Gym to immediately get the badge, but not this curious fellow.

Eric wanted to explore Cerulean City as he always wanted to travel in real life, and this in a way, is satisfying that dream.

"I think this is two times better than real life. I mean, how many people get to visit a fictional city? Like several thousands?" Eric said just before he bursts into laughter as he thought about all the fictional stories he read in the past.

[Pika?] Pikachu didn't understand what its trainer was talking about, but it was glad that he was in a good mood.

"Yeah, you're right. It wasn't funny... Let's go try visiting some of the cool places. I think there is a giant aquarium somewhere in this city." Eric said as he secretly placed his bike into his inventory. He then turned his bag around to his c.h.e.s.t and placed the egg incubator in its front pocket before hugging it with both his arms to keep it from falling.

"I don't have anything else, so this will have to do," Eric said with a wry smile as he thought he looked pretty stupid, but it wasn't going to stop him from exploring the city.

Cerulean city is one of the largest cities in Kanto, and seeing all it had to offer was a great experience. Eric would meet many people and Pokemon that lived throughout the city.

Several hours later-----

"Pokemon really are everywhe-" Eric suddenly bumps into someone as he was too focused on his surroundings.

"Hey, what's the big idea? Can't you see where you going?" The person said with a scowl as he pointed at Eric.

Eric was about to apologize, but then he thought the guy looked familiar," Gary?"

"Yeah?" The guy answered with a raised eyebrow. "What's it to ya?" He asked.

The arrogant-looking guy was about 15 with auburn hair that was spiked oddly, and black eyes that looked at the world as if everything was beneath him. He was wearing a long-sleeved purple shirt, dark blue pants, and brown boots.

It was Gary Mother**** Oak!

Wait... that's not his middle name?

Gary was the main rival for Ash and the guy that so many people wanted to beat up. However, he does turn over a new leaf in the future, and no one saw that coming.

"Gary? What's taking so long? We want to see you beat the third gym leader already." A girl with blue hair said as she wrapped her arm around Gary's left.

"Yeah! Come on, let's hurry~ Everyone else is waiting at the car." Another girl with brown hair said as she wrapped her arm around Gary's right.

"Sorry, I was stopped by some loser. Let's get out of here girls~" Gary said as he walked away. "Watch where you're going next time."

[Pikaa...] Pikachu clenched its teeth as it glared at the receding figure of Gary.

"Easy there, Pikachu, it was my fault. I need to stop getting distracted. That's strike two on my end." Eric chuckled lightly as he stroked Pikachu's head.

"Gary, who was that good-looking guy from earlier?" The girl with blue hair asked after walking for a bit.

"Good-looking? Oh, that loser? I have no idea. Maybe he's a fan because I'm already famous." Gary smirked as pointed at himself.

"A fan?... Well, he was pretty handsome." The brown-haired girl said as she glanced back to get one last look at Eric.

Gary didn't expect the guy he insulted to be complimented by his cheerleaders, and it didn't sit well with him. 'Wait till I see you again. I'll thrash you to the ground!' He gritted his teeth as he hopped into the passenger side of a red convertible car owned by one of his cheerleaders, and sped off towards Vermillion City.

Eric wanted to battle Gary before he left, but he had a strange suspicion that he'd lose. "Just be ready to lose in the future, Gary-boy... Nevermind, that sounds weird." He said just before he was going to continue his exploration a bit more, but a sudden scream stopped him.

"Oh! Hot guy alert! Look, Daisy!" A girl with long pink hair styled interestingly, and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a green V-neck shirt and a blue skirt along with red loafers.

Yeesh...What an odd choice of clothing.

"Really?... Wow, you're right..." A blond-haired girl said as she feverishly gazed at Eric. She was wearing a teal shirt covered with a pink sweater, beige skirt, and light blue shoes.

"Yoohooo guy with the red hair!~" The girl with long indigo hair and brown eyes said as she waved at Eric. She was wearing a short red sundress, yellow jacket, and yellow shoes.

"F.u.c.k me... The other terrible trio...I didn't want to meet them just yet." Eric said underneath his breath before he smiled at them.

Misty's three older sisters otherwise known as The Sensational Sisters!

Lily! Daisy! And Violet!

"You should come to watch our show later on! We are getting things to prepare for it. I know you'll enjoy it." Lily said as she winked at Eric.

"Show? Aren't you three the gym leaders?" Eric said.

"Busted~" Violet giggled while sticking out her tongue.

"Yeah, well, we don't like battling all that much and rather do things like our underwater ballet. You should see it!" Daisy quickly explained while playing with her hair.

"Well, I guess I'll try again later..."

"W-wait! No, you don't! You can come to battle us before the show. Right sisters? Right?!" Daisy shouted, looking back at her sisters for confirmation.

"Eh... Right." Violet nodded as she glanced at Lily.

"Sure.." Lily said before she whispered to Violet, "Hey, what's up with her? I know he's good looking, but we were in the middle of getting supplies for the show."

"Yeah, I know its totally weird. Maybe its love at first sight?"

"Well, off we go!"Daisy gripped Eric's arm and started to lead him to the Cerulean Gym.

'What the f.u.c.k?! I'm being kidnapped! And why can't I move my arm?!' Eric tried to pull his arm away, but even after trying with all his might, he still couldn't move.

" So what kind of egg is that?" Daisy asked

"I have... no idea..." Eric said as he continued to pull his arm. "Er... Can you let me go."

"I don't want you to get lost." Daisy smiled as she gripped Eric's arm even tighter.

'Holy Shit!' Eric inwardly screamed as he quickly became afraid of this girl. 'I don't remember her being like this?!'

Eventually, Eric reached the Gym despite his protesting and even got a good look at his arm after Daisy reluctantly let go. 'The heck?! It's red!'

The Cerulean City Gym wasn't the same as the one in season one. The building was massive and had an all-glass roof shaped like triangles. The Gym was separated into four parts, starting from the aquarium, living area, showroom, and the battlefield.

The battlefield took inspiration from the game as it was a giant pool with transparent floating platforms leading from one end to the other like a bridge.

Daisy walked to the opposite side of the pool, "I'll let you fight me. Ermm... What's your name?"

"It's Eric.."

"Hehe... Eric... Eric, do you know the rules?"

"Two on two Pokemon battle?..."

"That's right! You're so smart~."

"I can't believe she is going to battle someone now. What about our show?" Violet sighed.

"I know right... I guess love is blind." Lily said before she stepped up to be the referee. "This is a two on two battle where only the challenger can substitute and blah blah blah! Begin!"

Daisy glared at Lily as she wanted to strangle her sister for making them look bad in front of Eric. However, she quickly turned back to the battlefield as it was more important. 'Operation Date Eric is a go~' "Alright Seel! I choose you!" She shouted as she threw out Seel from its Pokeball.

[Seel~] Seel the cute white sea lion pokemon dived into the water and quickly came back to the surface, clapping its flippers. It was pretty carefree because of its trainers.

"Pikachu, you're up!"

[Pika!] Pikachu leaped onto the first floating platform and prepared itself to battle.

"I'll go first! Seel start with Water Gun!"

[Seel!~] Seel clapped its flippers before it sent out a fast Water Gun.

"Dodge it, Pikachu, and use ThunderBolt! Eric shouted as he wanted to end the battle quickly.

[Pika! Pikachuuu] Pikachu dodged the water gun at the last possible moment, and immediately used ThunderBolt.

" Seel! Dive into the water!" Daisy commanded.

[Seel~] Seel quickly dived deep into the pool, avoiding the ThunderBolt completely.

"Tch...I should have known. These battles aren't like the video games... Whatever if that's the case, then Pikachu jump into the water!"

"What?!"

[Pikachu!] Pikachu jumped towards the water without hesitation..

"Oh no, you don't! Seel come out and use Aqua Jet!" Daisy said she knew exactly what Eric wanted to do with Pikachu. 'I can't let him win! I'll have you lose, and then I'll console you! And then~."

[Seel!!] Seel's face immediately turned serious as it lunged straight at Pikachu with an incredibly fast Aqua Jet, attacking it before it could touch the water.

[Pika!!] Pikachu was in pain from the sudden attack, and it didn't stop there as it was sent flying into the air along with Seel.

"Don't hate me for this, Eric!"

"Don't hate you? This is a Pokemon battle, and you just made it easy for me! Pikachu, use ThunderBolt now!" Eric commanded with a huge grin on his face.

[Pi...Pikaachuuu!!] Pikachu managed to focus enough to use another ThunderBolt, causing the Aqua Jet to disperse as Seel got a full dose of electricity.

[Seeel!!] Seel screamed in great pain as it was hit with a super-effective move!

[Pika!] Pikachu used Seel as a stool and leaped off it to reach the platforms, landing almost perfectly.

*Splash!*

[S..eel..] Seel landed back in the water and immediately floated to the surface. It had fainted as the attack proved to be too much for it.

"No way! I was supposed to win!" Daisy stomped her feet as she recalled Seel back into its Pokeball.

"Sis it's just a battle don't worry about i-" Violet immediately closed her mouth as she was met with a glare from Daisy. "Eep... N-Nevermind.."

"Hmph! I'll use our second Pokemon! But don't be fooled! Come on out, Seaking!"

*Ding! 1200 exp for beating Gym Trainer Daisy*

*Pikachu's exp raised by... a lot! Ding! Pikachu had leveled up to 17!*

The battle against Daisy was actually easier than against Brock. However, Eric was surprised by the way she fought. He received his second badge happily and made a beeline for the exit.

But he didn't get far...

"Wait! Please don't go!" Daisy shouted with tears streaming down her face as she latched onto Eric's leg.

"What the... Can't you guys do something?!" Eric looked at the two sisters who only watched the comical scene from afar.

"Have you seen the strength she possesses?" Lily looked at Eric as if he was an idiot.

"You might as well cut off your leg because she's not letting go," Violet said as she shook her head.

"Let go of my leg!!" Eric said as he started to use the front door of the Gym to pull himself away from the crazy girl.

"No! I want a rematch!" Daisy refused and held onto Eric's leg even tighter.

*Creak*

The door started to show signs of it breaking, but neither of them would notice.

"A rematch?!-" Eric was about to explode in anger until the egg in the incubator started to shake.

"It's hatching now?!"
