Chapter 2595: Fei Qian's learning

  Chapter 2595 Fei Qian's learning

When Liu Xie and Boss Cao got the "unexpected joy", Fei Qian also welcomed his "learners" here.

That’s right, it’s not the people from the big Han who came to “learn the scriptures”, but other people who came to Chang’an to “learn the scriptures”.

And this scripture is not a Buddhist scripture, but a Taoist scripture.

Speaking of it, it is because Fiji has done a good job in promoting the five-party God sect, at least in the snow area, and has attracted a large number of people in the snow area to believe in it, but not everyone goes to the snow area. They can all be as smart as Xuanzang, and there are many Taoist scriptures that are actually very vague in content, and there is no very accurate statement, and there may even be situations where the contents of this preacher and that preacher contradict each other.

It’s like the spread of Buddhism in China in the early days. At first, there was only one kind, and later it became many kinds, and some of these many kinds even seemed to be completely different except for the same Buddha. .

When Fei Qian found out about the fact that someone came to learn from the scriptures, he was also very surprised, and decided to make a good arrangement. After all, Fei Qian still has the name of some real person on his head...

『Gongda sent people to contact these people,』 Fei Qian looked at the written text of Xun You’s report on the desk table, and then said, “Someone has a general understanding of it...well, please explain it to everyone..."

Xun You arched his hands, "This time, there were originally out of ten out of ten envoys who asked for scriptures. However, two of them fell to their deaths on the way, and three of them could not recover from their illness. Three of them were insane and lied on the way. People, when they reached Longyou, there were only three people left. At the beginning, Longyou Post Station thought that they were refugees and savages, so they lured them to save them food and clothing. After inquiring, they found out what happened, so they reported it to Chang'an...』

Feiqian has a designated farming policy, and there are rewards and meritorious deeds for recruiting refugees and savages to settle down. That's why the post barracks on the edge of Feiqian's territory will take the initiative to recruit these people. After all, in the history of the frontier, there are really not a few people who killed some savages and took their heads for credit.

Sometimes conflicts arise in this way.

If Feiqian does not have such relevant policies, or if these policies are not as easy to implement as cutting off the head, or if the benefits are great, then these come from afar, originally like "Snow District Xuanzang" The ascetic was arrested and beheaded, so is there a next time?

In this way, how can the fire of Chinese civilization be passed on?

Really think that cultural transmission is like in the game, just leave it there and watch the color slowly seep?

『People are still in Longyou, haven’t set off yet? ’ Fei Qian asked.

Xun You nodded, "The envoy's body is weak, and he needs to take care of it for a few days. 』

Feiqian nodded, "Let Wenhe send doctors there... Besides, send a few more smart ones, ask them to learn their language..."

   Xun You said he remembered.

Fei subtly signaled Xun You to continue.

Xun You continued to introduce to everyone: "The envoy of this snow area came out along the way of General Wenyuan's march..."

Xun You pointed on the map, and narrated some information he got from those messengers, while Fei Qian listened, his thoughts fluttered a little.

The Buddhist scriptures from the snowy area, um, ascetics, take the northern line, that is, the Xining line.

In fact, there were many roads to enter the snow area in ancient times. The southern route, one is from Sichuan and Sichuan, and the other is from Yunnan. The Sichuan-Shu line is relatively early, and the road is relatively rough. Basically, it is climbing and descending the mountain, but the climate is relatively milder, and the reason for the difficulty is the mountain. The Yunnan Line is similar to the Sichuan-Shu Line. It is also a mountain climb. It is not yet fully formed and is a little closer than the Sichuan-Shu Line. But the problem is that it is actually not close from Chang'an to Yunnan, that is, south of Jianning. The only way is to take the Yunnan Line from Jiaozhi. It is more cost-effective.

The northern line, that is, the Xining line, the biggest problem is not mountain climbing, because in Longyou, the altitude is not much different from the snowy area, and there are not many mountains to climb in the south of Qinghai Lake. Instead, you have to go through multiple blocks of no man's land...

In fact, further north on the Xining line, there is another route known as the most difficult in China, directly entering the snow area from the Western Regions. This route is not like the Southwest Line, which has to climb so many mountains, but there are many more uninhabited areas than the Xining Line...

Xining Line, also known as Tangfan Road.

Princess Wencheng walked this line in history.

So how long does it take to go this route?

There was a smile on Fei Qian's face. Others thought he was happy and happy, but Fei Qian thought of a funny incident about Princess Wencheng...

A very interesting "Princess Wencheng's camera obscura" incident, or rumors, because some people say that Princess Wencheng went to Tibet for one year, some said two years, and some said it was three years...

The three-year version is accompanied by a story about Princess Wencheng having an affair with Songtsen Gampo's subordinate Lu Dongzan...

This is related to Songtsan Gampo's hat, what color are they?

Normally speaking, it only takes about one year to walk this Tang-Tibetan road, but it turned out to be three years, where did two of them go? Didn't the adultery have a child? Princess Wencheng and Lu Dongzan ran away and gave birth. Songtsan Gampo spent two years in a green hat to find two people, and then said very generously that this is nothing, Aren't those who can't bear children also hugged and raised? Blood relationship is not important, so in the end the three lived happily together.

Legendary stories are stories, don't treat stories as history.

What's more, there are tricks in the history books...

At the same time, there are legends in the snow area that at that time Lu Dongzan asked Datang to ask for a marriage, and the stingy Li Shimin even made things difficult, and then Lu Dongzan perfectly solved it with Songtsan Gampo's "three tips" Li Shimin made things difficult. Li Shimin asked a question, took a kit, then asked another, and took another...

Is there a different kind of familiarity?

The story of the "Three Tips" was used exactly the same by Princess Chizun of Nepal. The only difference is that the marriage envoy was replaced by Sambuza, and Li Shimin was replaced by King Nidhara.

As for ants pulling ropes through small holes, mares and ponies grouped into groups, etc., they are basically fabricated by someone to deceive the common people. After all, entertainment is a tradition, and ordinary people just like it?

After all, for any regime, "whether to make peace" and "whom to make peace with" are completely political choices, so how could it be like there is a tender for something, "I have a princess. You all come to compete'? How entertaining is this? It is really illogical to let courtiers from all over the world compete together. Isn't this driving up the [beep] price?

Take the Tang Dynasty, which loves marriage, for example, there is not only one princess, Princess Honghua who married King Tuyuhun is also a clan daughter, Tuyuhun married Tuyuhun, Tubo married Tubo, Tuyuhun's envoys would be full to mess with Tubo thing?

So these weird things, are they really pure entertainment?

   Not really.

These things are likely to be done by the bald man who went to the snow area to preach.

Because in the so-called multiple versions of the "Three Tips" story, there is a version that Li Shimin used to make things difficult for the ambassador Lu Dongzan. Support” and “Whether goods are supplied”…

Just like peasants believe that the emperor in the palace plows the field with a golden hoe, and the empress sweeps the courtyard with a silver broom. Buddhist monks who make up stories may think that they have implemented the "Ten Good Laws". Other countries, such as the Tang Dynasty and Nepal, must also use the "Ten Kindness Laws".

As for why the story of the Tubo king is told, it is because in the process of preaching, in order to attract more people to listen, what is more attractive than the "love affair" of the big man?

It is a pity that the Central Plains has always been a land-dominated society of large landlords, and it is the gentry group that controls the discourse power, never a religious group. Even if Li Shimin is an emperor with low intelligence, it is impossible to ask two consecutive questions about Buddhism. issues, and put the Buddhist issue in the foreground...

So, are missionaries important? In other words, is it important that a more reliable preacher will not do this kind of missionary who doesn't know whether it is to smear or add color?

If the missionaries are not dispatched well, it is impossible to say when Fei Qian will suddenly have a green hat on his head after a few years, just like the rumors of Songtsan Gampo, and then he will become like Tang Wang Li Shimin Asking that kind of idiotic question.

Fei Qian feels that if Dahan now has some tools, some media, and some platforms to carry out cultural infiltration as conveniently as later generations, then it must not be so troublesome to promote Chinese culture.

Occupying a place, and then promoting enlightenment and spreading Chinese civilization, and no substantive occupation, first using culture to infiltrate and influence, these are two completely different concepts, and the methods are completely different.

The former can be effectively used on the Southern Huns and Western Qiang, while the latter is to deal with areas that cannot be directly occupied by the Han at the moment...

   Just like the snow area.

The Tang Dynasty was not unable to defeat Tubo, but it was difficult to occupy it, and because of political considerations, it adopted the kinship policy. After all, marriages in the Tang Dynasty were often when the Tang army had the upper hand. Perhaps there is also some taste of cultural infiltration, which has profoundly affected areas such as Tubo, but it is a pity that this kind of cultural infiltration has not formed a strategy that can be passed on, so that the taste will change in the later period.

The change of Xuanwu Gate looks like a rivalry between brothers, but it is not. It's like Li Zhi messing with Wu Mei Niang, it looks like a fatuous act of a womanizer, but it's not.

  Politics ah...

Xun You seemed to notice Fei Qian's distraction, so he stopped.

Although Fei Qian was distracted, he still had a sense of the outside world. When he heard the voice quiet down, he reacted, smiled, said that he had thought about something just now, and apologized to Xun You and everyone.

Xun You and everyone bowed their hands in return, saying they dare not.

『Where did you talk? ’ Fei Qian asked.

Xun You said: "The minister is introducing the people's livelihood in the snow area..."

Fei Qian nodded, then turned to look at the crowd.

『At first I saw these decrees and regulations in the snow area, as well as what they described...』 Fei Qian made a point in the text, "I kind of feel this kind of area, but I don’t know if you have such a feeling? 』

The economy in the snow region is not good. Moreover, the harvest of the land cultivated there is also very poor. Compared with the high yield per mu in the land of Chang'an, it feels like heaven and earth.

   This is an obvious thing.

Fei Qian looked at everyone's faces one by one, some nodded and some pondered.

This is an enlarged meeting, but not many people can have a say.

Fei Qian didn't intend to give everyone a chance to speak, which would make things more complicated. Expansion is to let more people know something easily, but the host and core should still be firmly grasped in the hands.

As soon as Fei Qian said this, it immediately hit the hearts of many people.

It is not only in the braided dynasty that there are any ideas of "the kingdom of heaven", in fact, there are also many such people in other periods of time.

Inferiority and arrogance are two brothers back to back.

When it was known that Fei Qian had summoned the people only for the so-called "learners" in the snow area, apart from first-class or quasi-first-class counselors like Pang Tong, Sima Yi, and Zhuge Jin, many other people came to mix experience , ready to leave after receiving a plus three experience points, and did not put much thought on what Xun You said.

Isn’t he just a Buddhist scripture?

Before he was beaten up by General Zhang, and it is said that he also killed so-and-so? Isn't it close to destroying the country? What else is there to say? It's just because Fei Qian is the general of the hussars, and the big boss wants to have a meeting, so these people have to come.

Where you go to work, clocking in and fishing is the kingly way.

It’s not long before the new year, and everyone is still immersed in the celebration of the holiday and can’t extricate themselves. It’s understandable, but it can’t always be like this?

So, this time the enlarged meeting somewhat meant that everyone was motivated to work.

Of course, during this incident of the Buddhist scriptures, Fei Qian also discovered some very interesting things...

   Worth a try.

As for how far the wheel of fate can be pushed, it also depends on how well everyone can accept it, or how well they cooperate.

Fei Qian looked up at the crowd and said, "Everyone, here is a very interesting place...Why do these people come to Chang'an to learn Buddhist scriptures?" They are so poor and in such a mess, this sutra is really useful? 』

Everyone was taken aback when they heard the words, why? Isn't it because Chang'an is the birthplace of the Five God sects?

Then Pang Tong reacted quickly, frowned and said: "My lord, is it because of the suffering of the people in the snow area, um, or, the tribes...fighting?" In other words, the act of seeking the scriptures of the Buddhist scriptures may not be pure...』

Feiqian nodded, and clicked twice on the content of the people's livelihood in the snowy area in the article submitted by Xun You, "These seekers of scriptures are also seekers of change." 』

『A change seeker? ’ Everyone was either repeating or pondering.

Tubo is the first regime in the snow region with clear historical records. Songtsan Gampo is considered to be the actual founder of Tubo, but just like those Chanyus in the desert, they did not establish their country with a bang at a certain point in time. In fact, in the snowy area, there must be someone who never There is a process from decentralization to unification.

It was not Songtsen Gampo who promoted this process.

   But productivity.

It’s like a saying of later generations, what history chooses, not who chooses history, even if there is no Songtsan Gampo, maybe there is Songtsan Wet Cloth to complete this matter.

Songtsan Gampo’s role in the gathering of Tubo is more like a catalyst.

『This... is actually not difficult to understand. "Fei Qian continued, "As far as we know, and described by these people who learn from the scriptures, is this snow area...is it somewhat similar to our ancient times? Vast land, scattered tribes...and now, look, there is an agreed system, there are wars between tribes...some people start calling themselves kings of so-and-so, and some people start wanting to unify the snow region...isn't it similar? And behind these behaviors or phenomena, what is it? 』

『It is agriculture, industry, people's livelihood, military, and the development of everything that drives these people to change. Fei Qian continued, "When people have a surplus, they will think about walking and communicating, and then they will sell goods, and then there will be corresponding fights... Everyone has selfishness, so who do you listen to?" Laws are born...and so on. From the descriptions of these Buddhist scriptures, I estimate that the snow area should be in this transitional period, a bit like our Spring and Autumn and Warring States...』

When Fei Qian said this, everyone nodded.

   This is easy to understand.

Before the Sui and Tang Dynasties in my country, people did not know much about the political situation on the cold Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. This was caused by inconvenient transportation, and it was also related to the lack of a relatively powerful unified regime in the Qinghai-Tibet area at that time. Beginning in the 6th century AD, the Yalong Tribe located in the eastern part of the Yarlung Zangbo River Basin gradually became stronger and expanded to the Lhasa River Basin. At the beginning of the 7th century, after Songtsan Gampo succeeded to the throne, he first used force to conquer the surrounding tribes and formally established the Tubo Dynasty.

Although there are no clear historical records of this whole process, and it is not as magnificent as the unification of the six countries in the former Qin Dynasty, it is obvious that after the unification, Tubo began to expand in all directions under the leadership of Songtsan Gampo, and let Nepal Bowing his head and proclaiming himself a minister, Songtsan Gampo married the princess of Nepal, and invaded the Tang Dynasty eastward.

After the Tang Dynasty rejected the request for marriage for the first time, Songtsan Gampo sent troops to attack the Tang Dynasty. After the Tang Dynasty knew that it was difficult to defeat Tubo quickly, it finally agreed to the request for a marriage marriage. This is the story of Princess Wencheng's entry into Tibet.

"We Huaxia are the pioneers..." Fei Qian smiled, but there was a sense of history in his voice, "Look, now we are just running a few steps first, and there are these people chasing after us... If we say that we stop, what will happen? In fact, I have always been a little surprised. This incident actually happened during the time of King Zhou, and it also happened during the early Han Dynasty. Why didn't I write it down? In other words, no one planned it? 』

『That’s why I asked everyone to come here, and I asked Gongda to tell you about this matter. Fei Qian looked around and said, "The lesson from the past should be the teacher of future generations." So what we do today will also become the experience of future generations in China. The Buddhist scriptures will come to Chang'an soon, and what are we going to do... Buddhist scriptures, hehe, they are Buddhist scriptures, so why not us? 』

『If you can get my Chinese scriptures from others, you will be the masters of all of you! Fei Qian cupped his hands towards the crowd, "I hope you will think about it after you go back. After three days, I look forward to seeing your "true scriptures"..."
