Looking at the all fired up face of Luke Green, Alexander didn't know why but he felt a cooling sensation in his heart. He felt as if the colour changing face in front of him which was like in some kind of superposition of both red and yellow colour was particularly pleasing to eyes.

This was the pŀėȧsurė one feels after their enemy was humiliated.

But Alexander was clear about his current situation. This pŀėȧsurė was short lived. As short lived as the copulation period of some insects. Some files can even copulate hundred times in a second. Damn that's fast! So was his incoming doom.

'F*ck! Why are facts coming to my mind right now! I need to find a way out.'

Luke Green took a few deep puffs of air and firmly held the table beside him. His muscles bulged and gave out a faint cracking sound and blood vessels started crawling under skin like venomous worms of hell.

Tension in the air grew as Luke Green didn't directly attack Alexander and just maintained a stance where he was about to pounce on him, maintaining a fierce glance. But at last he didn't do anything at all and just maintained it.

This was the sign of intense threat for Alexander at the beginning as he remembered the incident with Ryan Reed, where he didn't rush to capture him directly and waited for a while to induce deep fear into him. But as the time passed, Alexander got confused.

'This isn't just inducing fear. It's taking longer than usual.'

Even the threat of the most deadly predator might lessen if it doesn't take action at the correct time, and this Green was just a human. With time Alexander's fear lessened quite a bit but he didn't actually drop his guard against this vicious human.

'Why isn't he attacking?'

Earlier, Alexander was prepared to run fast and use all the stamina he built up due to regular exercise and shout out to call Yang Tao and others for help. But now he didn't do anything and just stared at Luke Green with a blank face and chaotic mind.

He was in trouble when he was about to be attacked.

He was in trouble when he's not being attacked.

What a troublesome human mind.

'Huh? Why?' When he heard the system's voice, Alexander was startled at first but he recovered and followed up with a question.

But he made a mental note to remind this system to not speak out of nowhere and startle him. It's not good for his heart to go into sudden shock so often.

'Protector? You mean you? The heck! Then why didn't you protect me when I was being chased by Ryan Reed?' .

System didn't speak anything after listening to him. It neither denied his words nor accepted them.

After a few more minutes passed, Luke Green relaxed all of a sudden, turned and went inside the slaughterhouse without saying anything to Alexander or anyone else.

No one knew what happened but they formed an answer mentally, 'This skinny boy must have a big background to stop that devil after being slapped.'

Even Alexander was no exception and he naturally linked Luke Green's retreat to his great background 'David'. Though Luke Green cursed at him by calling him a leech who sucks and lives off David but still that also showcased the deterring effect of the name 'David Taylor'.

'At last, the rational side of Luke Green won his impulsive side. But that doesn't mean he will just stop like that because of David's name. He stopped here because of people surrounding here. But he can still attack in the dark. And that's something, I f**king hate. Now I will have to be more careful.'

Alexander analysed everything slowly and formed a theory in his mind and relaxed a bit. He didn't mind using David's identity to remove an obstacle from his path sometimes. What's the use of a big name? Isn't it to be used by friends in need? If even friends can't use your big name, you should just change your name and leave this world.

He also concluded that the protector mentioned by the system must be David.
