"Same team? Who?" Yang Tao stopped and asked with an inquiring expression.

Alexander on the other hand was stunned to the point where he can't process the information correctly, he took a moment to calm down and listen to the surrounding sound again; this time he was more cautious and attentive.

The surrounding was silent majorly with some occasional sound of chopping of meat coming from the slaughterhouse but he didn't relax, his attention rather perked up by a notch and he continued listening, finally after a minute or so, he heard some faint sound of talking.

This wasn't anything unusual, as they were heading to the basement for a meeting, it was normal that people were already there and they were talking among each other while the boss Yang Tao was not there.

But among those talking voices he heard the sound of someone he really didn't want to see or listen to.

He turned towards Yang Tao and asked with a serious expression, "Damn! What's Luke Green doing here?"

"Luke Green? Oh that green kid? He's quite good. So I hired him. I think he'll be helpful in our future tasks." Yang Tao originally had a thoughtful expression but as he continued along explaining things, his expression turned proud.

He was happy and cheerful just like a kid who found a shining stone from the junkyard he used to play in, as a kid and now he was showing it off to his parents saying, "Look! You used to say there's nothing good in that junk! Look, isn't this shining stone cool?"

The only difference between them was that the child was ignorant of the fact that there's no real value of that slightly shining stone while Yang Tao was an experienced guy who might really be correct about Luke Green's advantages.

Alexander lips twitched. His own subordinates were hiring his enemies and even praising them in front of him as if they were some godly talent and he was some worthless piece of shit.

This script isn't right!

Finally he looked up towards Yang Tao, took a deep breath and asked in a demanding tone, "You really think he'll be useful?"

He asked as if he'll kick Yang Tao out if his answer wasn't satisfactory but even he himself was aware that he can't possibly do that. At least not until his experiments succeed and he becomes stronger.

Strong enough to even kick Yang Tao lightly and scratch him.

Even then, Yang Tao still nodded solemnly without any trace of discomfort on his face. He was like a loyal royal servant who won't ever go against you. But also tell everything truthfully, ignoring the hints you were passing him to change the conversation.

'Sigh… since it's like this, let it be.'

Alexander let go a puff of air and then nodded again, "It's ok then. Postpone today's meeting, we'll do it some other day. Right now prepare a room for me. I'll be staying here for some days."

"Yes boss." Yang Tao, said as he started walking towards the basement while Alexander went out of the quarter. He didn't plan to showcase his face to Luke Green as his boss. He was good till everything was in control and he's safe.

He also agreed to Yang Tao hiring Luke Green because he wanted Yang Tao to teach this kid a lesson and stop him from bullying others. Afterall, in his view Yang Tao was a righteous guy with flames of righteousness flowing through his eyes.

What he didn't know was that he'll probably be suffering more in future as currently Yang Tao was teaching Luke Green, Dao of bullying.

After all they will be an official gang soon. They need to train people for bullying others. Isn't it a great talent that this guy Luke Green was a natural bully? .

A slight smile appeared on Yang Tao's face after some time as he walked towards the basement to postpone the meeting.

'Ehhh… tiring life of a manager.'

But he was proud of this tiring life.
