Time Traveling Hero

Chapter 15 - Epilogue: Unnamed Boy Meets Silver Haired Girl FINALE

"Hey, are you okay over there? You've been like this ever since Tuesday."

I was laying my head down on my desk, looking out the window. It was about lunch time, and Depra had walked over to me, worried. Ah, how nice.

"I'm trying a role reversal here, so you're like me and I'm like you."

"Okay...? Does that prevent you from eating lunch with me?" he asked nervously, playing with his semi-long unkempt hair.

I managed to pick up my head from my desk and g.r.o.a.n.e.d before grabbing my lunchbox and standing up, stretching my sore body from sitting in one place for so long. "Yeah, let's do it."

It was now the end of the week, Friday, and I was very exhausted after the events of Monday evening. It seems my little trick took a lot more out of me than I had bargained for, and now I was a restless zombie, going through the entire week in a daze. While wounds healed after the time loop ends, my lost energy didn't, unlike the last time. I still didn't fully understand the intricacies of these time loops, but the stunt I did seems to be a big No-No.

Speaking of the time loop, Anna had also disappeared after the events of Monday evening, probably going back to her base, wherever that is, to report on our condition.

"Oh, we're here already huh?" We had arrived at our destination while I was musing over the past week. I saw where Lachesis was and sat next to her while Depra got his food.

"Ugh, why didn't you sit next to anyone else?"

"So we can see who Depra likes more, me or you."

She glared at me in response, her cold blue eyes trying to analyze my moves for whatever reason. I was harmless, I swear, just your average exhausted genius over here.

"What's wrong with you anyway?" Ouch, that wording stung a bit. "You've been off ever since Tuesday. Getting tired of us or something? If so, you can happily leave me and Depra alone."

I opened up my lunchbox before clapping my hands together and said, "Thank you for the food," before responding.

"I had a really long Monday evening, let's just say that," I said, eating my sister's delicious food quickly. Also, I've been starving since I got back home Monday evening, and I've been eating enough for four people. Luckily, my sister packed enough food, after seeing me devour an entire lasagna for dinner that night.

"That too, is also strange," she muttered before continuing to eat her food. Compared to my super sized serving of food, her's was a little less than average.

I ate about half of my food before attempting to initiate conversation with this girl again. "So, you still haven't told me what I did to get on your bad side. I have to at least speak first for people to hate me."

She gave me a sideways glance before looking around the cafeteria, as if making sure no one was listening. "I can't see it." She said softly, as if not even wanting me to hear either.

Hmm? Can't see what? "Vagueness is never a good fit for you."

"I just don't understand," she continued, now wrapped in her own thoughts. "Where did you even come from? You and that silver haired girl, this wasn't a part of the plan. How will this change things I wonder..."

I had a feeling that she just dropped a bombshell of information that shouldn't have been revealed yet. Before I could grab her attention from her thoughts, Depra finally came out from the lunch line and sat next to me at the lunch table.

"Sorry I was so late. It seems that the burgers here are quite popular," he said apologetically.

"You're fine, and it also seems we've found out who the winner is Lachesis."

"Screw you."

I chuckled before looking over at Depra, who, as usual, was out of the loop. "Anyway, we should hurry up and eat, since we came late Depra."

He nodded before chowing down on his burger and fries.

"Hmm! So delicious! Burgers are indeed my favorite!" he said with genuine happiness as he continued eating.

Well, at least he's happy, I thought before turning back to my own food. I devoured the second half of my food before burping in satisfaction. "Ah, that was good. Nothing can beat lil sis' homecooked meals!" I said before gulping down my water that was also packed with the meal.

"I guess boys will be boys," Lachesis murmured glumly, looking at the two of us eat at an astonishing rate. Well, that's what puberty does to growing boys!

"Not you too Lachesis, cheer up," Depra said, trying to motivate her.

"Don't worry about her Depra, she's just feeling that jealously."

Her ears, blocked from Depra's view, turned a bright red. She punched me in the arm, hard.

"Ouch, that hurt! Well, if I don't help you out, you two will be stuck like this forever," I said in response to her brashness.

And for the first time since I've met her, her icy blue eyes melted away, changing to a warm sea. She quickly covered her gaping mouth before turning away from us boys.

"... I don't know what you're talking about."

Ah, that response said it all. That's enough for now I guess, I thought, pleased with myself. I clapped Depra on the back. "You have a long way to go before you reach her point. Honestly though, can't really blame you."

"What was the point of that conversation? Is she alright," he responded, trying to crane his neck to look over at his childhood friend.

I packed up my now empty lunchbox before pulling Depra away from the table. "Come on, she needs time to think about her issues is all."

"You're really confusing sometimes," Depra said, still trying to get a look at Lachesis while we left the cafeteria.

Don't worry, I'll make sure this unrequited love doesn't take up more than half the story, I thought, giving myself a small thumbs up.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was now the end of the day, and I made my to club I was coerced into, over in the old school building. I guess I should also point out that the school didn't get destroyed in the aftermath of the fight. It returned to normal shortly after the time loop broke.

As usual, I was the first one in the clubroom. On Monday we had another study session to make up for the one I cut short on last Friday. Tuesday the Prez really wanted something to eat, so we all went to a nearby cafe and just talked the normal useless conversations I somehow always gotten myself into with these guys. Wednesday Pinkie and Heracles didn't show up, cutting our group size to five, so we played hide-and-seek in the building (so childish). The Prez won, although that was due to her cheating. She used that secret I found out about, which basically made it impossible for anyone to find her. Cae somehow found her though, much to my surprise. Thursday Lachesis, Depra, and Cae didn't show up, and so we played some old video games on a really old console and on a possibly even older television.

I sat down in my usual seat, waiting for another person to show up. Lately, the Prez had been racing down here, trying to get here before me. She had yet to actually beat me though. Forever number 2, I guess.

Almost as quickly as I sat down, the sliding door opened from behind me. Well, that was quick. I turned around, expecting the Prez, when I saw familiar long silver hair and a pair of yellow eyes looking at me.

The beautiful girl, the one I had met about a week and a half ago, had finally came back.

"I've found you Master," she said in her usual tone of voice.

I couldn't help but be shocked. Out of all the people to show up, why was she the first one? Hell, how did she even manage to find this obscure place?

"The same teacher as last time told me where to find you," she said, as if reading my mind. Anyway, damn that woman. Seriously, at least let me enjoy this quiet time here alone before sending people my way.

I sighed before relaxing my tense body. "Hey Anna, how's it going? Did you finish your report?"

She nodded. "Affirmative, Anna is all done with her report."

"That's good I guess," I murmured before turning away from her. Well, at least she likes her new name.

Anna grabbed a chair and placed it next to my left, near the corner of the table. She plopped herself down before marveling the room.

"Master?"

"Yeah, what is it?"

"How did you end up in this strange place?"

"Coercion," I grumbled, still peeved at my lost chance at the Going Home Club. "Never do that Anna."

"Roger Dodger, Anna will never do that."

Rodger Dodger? "That's a new one. Who taught you that one?"

"My special friend." Ah, that person. Her special friend was the previous Time Traveling Hero if I'm remembering right.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I've just been accepting a lot of weird things in my life. I guess I should ask her a couple of questions.

"Hey, how old are you anyway?"

"Same age as Master," she replied, her eyes still scanning the room.

"Wait, I thought you were like a robot android type thing? I at least expected you to be older though, considering your Model number."

"I am human, just like Master. Also, model number does not correspond to age. Silly Master," she said, shaking her head as if she felt sorry about my wrong assumption. But that was besides the point.

"Wait, you're f.u.c.k.i.n.g human!? Then how do you explain all the wacky nonhuman shit you can do!?" I exclaimed, now clearly confused.

"I've always been able too. All Models can do different things, for whatever reason. I can do 'wacky nonhuman shit' according to Master simply because I can. No explanation needed."

Wait, what the hell? So, does that mean she's like me in that regard? But what could possibly describe her obvious super human strength and abilities? Before I could continue on my train of thought, the door opened up from behind me.

"Ah yes, I've finally beaten number 1!"

It was Prez, and she held up her arms in victory before looking down at the two of us. "Oh, you multiplied. Wait, you multiplied into a girl!?"

I held up my hand to my forehead before groaning. More of Prez's damn misunderstandings.

"I did not multiply from Master, Master multiplied from me?"

Ugh, how does that make any sense? And wait a second! "Hey, don't call me that in front of other people damn it! And don't feed into her nonsense as well!"

"Oh, Master?" Prez asked curiously before another misunderstanding crept into her mind. "Oh, so you're into that then, Master," she said, trying to be seductive.

"Screw both of you! It was a goddamn joke is what it was! It's not my damn fault that this kuudere doesn't understand the concept of a joke!"

"Sheesh, what's all the racket about?" said an annoyingly cute voice.

And then the remaining five members appeared at the door. Damn it, why do they have such bad timing?

"Oh, it's her. Did you recruit her or something?" asked Lachesis, who had noticed Anna sitting next to me.

"Okay, before this nonsense goes any further, let me explain the damn situation to the two knuckleheads here," I grumbled.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Oh, I see! It all makes sense now! How boring though, I wish it could've been at least a little bit more exciting than that." Prez said, slightly disappointed

I had finished explaining everything to the club's members, except for the obvious stuff like time loops and near-death experiences. Honestly, I don't think I could tell anyone that except for Eris.

"Yep, it's that's boring, so let's leave it alone." I said quickly, trying to get off the subject.

"I didn't realize your name was Anna though. Such a nice name too," Lachesis commented at the emotionless Anna, who had been silent throughout my entire explanation.

"Yes, it really is. I'm glad Master gave me that name. Originally, I was just Mode-!" She got cut short by a hand, my hand, slamming into her mouth to cover it.

Everyone looked at my harsh reaction with confusion. "That's all there is to know, period. No more questions will be permitted at this time."

"Huh, well, I guess we have our 8th member now! You're really into this club, ain't you!? Congrats on recruiting, um, actually, do we just call you Master too?" The sudden question from Prez had everyone turn their heads toward me.

"Now that I think about it, you never actually introduced yourself," Lachesis said curiously, noting the strangeness of the situation.

"Yeah, even when you gave me your phone number, you didn't put a name in there either," Depra agreed.

Ah crap, guess I never do those things. Well, telling them and you, the readers, my name would be such a huge spoiler about myself that I often refused to tell them my actual name. Although, I did come up with a nickname though...

Smiling at Anna, who also wanted to know my actual name, I went toward the back of room, where the chalkboard was. I grabbed a piece of chalk and wrote the nickname they would call me.

"You can call me Hiro!"

Heracles frowned once I finished writing it in big letters. "Hiro...? Is that your actually name?"

I put the chalk back before turning toward the others. Ah, how I love my wordplay. Only Anna got it, and her yellow eyes grew wide as she heard the name come from my mouth.

And another emotion was made on her face, a look of pure happiness as she realized my intention.

"Nope, but it's the nickname you'll call me from now on," I said. "So, I'll be your 'Hiro' from now on!"

"I prefer jackass, can't we keep calling him that?"

"Only if we can call you Bitchie, Pinkie," I said in response.

She crossed her arms before turning her head away with a "Hmph!"

I heard a laugh, an unfamiliar one, from the members. I turned toward Anna, who was giggling softly to herself.

"Hiro huh? Alright, then Master Hiro it is," she said, her voice overflowing with warmth, instead of its usual flatness.

"Whoa, so this is the start of the kuudere breaking out of her shell, huh?" I commented in shock.

"Well, that's all fine and dandy, but I don't know what to do today though," Prez announced, pondering over her only duty as the club's President.

"It's supposed to be warm today, so why don't we play with water guns?" suggested Cae out of nowhere. Seriously, where did that even come from?

"That's a great idea! Good thing we still have them from this summer. I knew I made the right choice by making you Vice-President!" Prez exclaimed.

I seriously have to get wet? I'd rather not. Before I could protest however, everyone nodded in agreement.

"Wait, why are you all going along with her!?"

"You'll learn the hard way that you really can't go against her. It's one of her many talents," Cae said sadly, shaking his head.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basically, it went like this:

The battleground was an unused field. Weapon of choice: Water guns. Two teams, Boys vs. Girls.

I was standing on one side of the field with my teammates, and we all had battle paint on our faces. The girls also similar paint on themselves, along with getting changed into their gym uniforms. The guys didn't bother, since none of us had towels. The atmosphere was tense, as both sides prepared for battle.

"Ready!? Alright, let's have the Third Hidden Club's Water Fight begin!" The referee was none other than Eris, who had decided come out and watch us. Still though, I was worried about the people playing this, since we all had some hidden tricks up our sleeve...

"Attack!" bellowed out Heracles, who started his rush towards the opponents.

I looked over at the other two, who hadn't moved. "So, how exactly does this work?"

"Whichever team gets the most wet loses and pays for dinner for the other team."

"Who won the previous two times?" I asked.

"The first time was just with Me, Prez, Pinkie, and Heracles. Pinkie and Heracles won that one. The second time it was the six of us, split between Lachesis, Pinkie, and Depra and Heracles, Prez, and Me. Pinkie's team won that time as well."

"Is that pink haired runt really that good?"

"Well, other factors played into this game, but yeah, she is really good."

I nodded before looking back at Heracles, who was getting demolished out there by Prez. "I'll take out Pinkie, so can you guys backup Hera? He's kinda struggling out there."

"We-we'll do our best!" said Depra, clearly nervous.

And then all three of us made our way onto the battlefield.

I know Prez's trick, and it'll be pretty difficult to pull that off in such a wide-open space, so I didn't have to worry about her. I didn't know about Lachesis or Pinkie, but I knew exactly what Anna could do. I just hoped she didn't go overboard.

Oh, what wishful thinking that was.

The other two scattered as they went to backup Hera, while I made my way toward Pinkie.

Pinkie noticed me coming towards her and grinned. "Oh, you want to fight me? Instead of running away, you're coming closer to me?"

Wait, she knows that reference? Not bad, my respect has gone up for you Pinkie. "I can't get you sopping wet unless I come closer."

"Oho, then get as close as you like!"

Pinkie pumped her water gun before muttering something under her breath.

"Take this!" I shot at the open Pinkie, who made no move to dodge. Instead, the water fell short and stopped in midair?

"Wait, what the hell?" I stopped before I could run into this mystery wall.

"Please, you'll have to do better than that! I've never once gotten wet in these games. Now Lachesis!"

I rolled out of the stream of water about to hit me from behind and shot at Lachesis, who got her shirt wet.

"How did you dodge-!"

I had already reached her, seemingly teleporting to the reader, and had already shot out multiple streams of water. They each hit their mark, with my final shot hitting her square in the face.

She fell over, now completely soaked, her clothes slightly see through. "Damn you guys and you're stupid tricks!"

Pinkie was watching the entire thing and frowned. "How did he do that?"

I leapt away from Lachesis before turning back to Pinkie. "Let me get a refill, and you're mine for the taking."

"So c.o.c.ky, that's what I hate about you!"

I jogged over to the hose, where Eris was supplying refills. "Cheater," she said as handed her my water gun.

"When everyone else is too, I've stopped caring."

I turned back toward the battlefield and was shocked at the result.

The Heracles had somehow dried himself off, and the Prez was now completely soaked from all sides, having been victim of a pincer attack.

Depra and Caelus were trying to take down Anna, but the result was rather... interesting to say the least.

"How the hell does she have so much water!? How is she even shooting out that much to begin with!?" yelled out Caelus, who's entire lower half was soaked.

"I don't know, she hasn't refilled once!" agreed Depra, who seemed to be in better shape than Caelus.

"Fire."

A large ball of water, about half my size, shot out from Anna's water gun and was aimed at Depra. But the strange thing was, it never hit him.

"What! How did he do that?" I said, watching the water vanish in midair.

"Stop watching and get out there. You'll lose at this rate," commented Eris as she handed me my newly refilled water gun.

"Right, I'm probably the only who can stop that monster," I muttered before continuing my objective.

"!"

Right when I stepped back onto the field, two streams of water got shot directly at me, one from Lachesis and the other from Prez.

"Aw man, he dodged it! Is he superhuman or somethin'!?" complained Prez at her failed surprise attack.

"I don't have time to deal with you two, I have a Pinkie to conquer!" I yelled out as I zoomed through the both of them, shooting them with one shot each.

Pinkie, who was one of two people still dry, clapped at me. "Well, took you long enough!"

The other person who was still dry, me, stopped as we stared each other down.

And the impossible fight by human standards began.

She shot out three water streams, in the front, and both my sides. I slid forward before continuing my rush.

"Then take this!"

A large shadow appeared above me, and I looked up to see a kiddie's pool size of water about slam down onto me. Seriously, is this even a water fight anymore?

I avoided it, appearing to my far right, also avoiding the splash damage.

I glared at Pinkie, who was laughing haughtily at my failed attempts to come near her. Well, I guess I can cheat a lot this time.

"You honestly think you can beat me!? Please, this is payback for before!"

"Well, looks like you're not getting it."

"What!?"

She whirled behind her to be faced with me, and there were already about a dozen water streams heading her way.

"Wait!" but it was too late as she was soaked from every part of her body, and her clothes now completely see through.

"That's what you get for underestimating me," I said. I really shouldn't have done that, since my energy has been wonky all week, but after seeing Anna again, it felt as if my body had stabilized somehow. Well, I was going to take full advantage of this.

I looked down at the now sopping Pinkie, and realized something. "Wow, even your bra is pink? You must really want to commit to this pink thing."

"Shut up you! If I'm going down, then you are too!" And I turned to look behind me to see one of Anna's water shot mere inches away from my face.

Shit, she wants to play this game too huh? Fine, the let's not hold back!

And suddenly dozens of water streams from all angles were shot at the unsuspecting Anna, who's yellow eyes widened at her current predicament. And me? Well, I appeared behind her, letting the shot hit Pinkie square on.

"Sorry, but you lose." And the dozens of water streams hit their mark.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Man Hiro, you really are good at this game!" Prez commented as she just finished her food.

We had gone to a nearby restaurant after the girls got changed, and us eight were eating our meals. I called my sister to let her know that I wasn't going to eat at home, and she told me to get her something too.

I munched down on my ribs and fries before taking another drink of my soda. I was already on my fifth plate of food.

Depra was eating a double cheeseburger, and he was on his third one, along with his soda and his second plate of fries, covered in ketchup.

Heracles was eating Chicken Parmesan and was on his fourth plate. He had already downed seven drinks of his soda as was halfway down with his eighth.

And Caelus was having a variety of seafood and was on his second plate. The girls sitting across from us had already finished eating and were looking at us eat in awe.

"I knew guys eat a lot, but if I had known it would've been this much, I would've tried way harder at the game," muttered Pinkie.

"Food is way better when you're not paying for it," I said, looking at the other guys. "Well, am I wrong?"

All the guys happily nodded their heads before continuing to eat. Ah, I do love winning.

"Well Prez, I don't really like losing, and getting wet today was not on my agenda today." I responded to Prez's comment after I finished my fifth plate of food. "Oh waiter, one more please."

"Ugh, our bank accounts will be ruined after this," Lachesis said sadly, shaking her head in disbelief at the amount we were eating. "I mean, where does even go?"

"The teenage boy pit of hunger," commented Caelus, who had also finished his second plate of seafood. "Oh yeah waiter, can you get me this next? Thanks!"

Honestly, we were being kind of brutal, but not even Depra, the only one of us who normally cared, batted an eye at the food we were eating.

"Ah well, we did lose ladies, so suck it up! There's always the next competition!" said Prez cheerfully, although even she looked slightly worried.

"It will be okay. After you have no more money left, Anna will take care of it," Anna said calmly. She was the only girl not freaking about the bill. Then again, she could probably get her Time Resistance Task Force to pay for it all in full.

Depra finished his burger and plate of fries and burped. "Ah, um, waiter? Could I have another plate of both please?"

"Seriously, you guys used your tricks way too much today. It's probably why you're all starving."

I turned around to the booth behind me to see Eris, who was eating by herself. "I was already like that, but blame the girls for making us use them so much. Although, I didn't actually see Caelus do much of anything though."

"Hey now, me and you complement each other you know. Depra took care of the Prez's water gun, and then I doused her from all over. It was quite simple," he said, looking over at me.

"Hey waiter, I would like another plate of my food too please," Hera said in his deep voice.

Hmm? What does he mean by that? I clutched my key and felt chills all over my body. I quickly let go before glancing at Caelus.

"Are you...?"

"I am," he said, and a silent understanding was made between us.

"Hey, let me in on the cool stuff as well!" Prez protested. "What do you mean by you complement each other!?"

Before anyone could answer, the food we just reordered came out. The table fell in silence as the girls watched us devour our respective meals.

"Please tell me you're done after this," m.o.a.n.e.d Lachesis.

I looked over at the guys. Hera shrugged. "I am if you guys are. I have to get home soon anyway."

"Alright then, all the boys in favor of stopping after this meal?" Cae said, starting a vote. We all said aye, and we finished our food quickly.

"But waiter, can you-!" before I could continue, Lachesis glared at me.

"I thought you said you were done."

"It's for my sister, calm down. I promised her some food from this place. Anyway waiter, can you get these three things to go?"

Pinkie scowled at my statement. "I think he's bullshitting us. No way he has a sister."

"Master Hiro does indeed have a sister." Anna confirmed.

"Also, you saw her when I tackled you in front of my house," I said, further proving her wrong.

"Oh yeah, I guess there was someone like that, huh?" Pinkie muttered.

I cleared my throat, quickly trying to change the subject. "Anyway, waiter, can you also bring the bill?" I asked the patient waiter. "It'll be split between the four girls here."

Soon the bill was brought, and the four girls looked at it nervously. Three of their faces died on the spot when they saw the price. Only Anna was calm.

"Well, there goes all my money," Lachesis said as she pulled out all of her cash and her debit card.

"Yeah, I can barely pay for even a fourth of this," muttered Pinkie, who motioned to do the same.

"Oh, come on gals! It'll be fine!" Prez said, her expression somewhat hopeful before looking back at the price. "On second thought, this isn't okay. How are we going to pay for this!?"

The three girls m.o.a.n.e.d and g.r.o.a.n.e.d at their current predicament. It was then that Anna suggested her idea.

"You three pay for a third of the meal collectively, and I'll pay rest."

"That's funny Anna, real funny. We're not in the mood for jokes right now," Pinkie said, dismissing her statement.

Anna pulled out her phone and called some number. "Hello? Can you take care of this meal please? Thank you, I'll send a picture of the total. You only need to pay for two-thirds though. Okay, bye."

She took a picture of the receipt and put her phone away. "It is done, please do not worry."

The three girls looked at Anna in shock. "Do you mean it," they said in unison, close to tears.

"Affirmative."

"Anna!" they all yelled out before surrounding her in a giant hug. "We are officially besties now!" No, you just want her for the money. Probably.

"Besties?" She said, tilting her head in confusion.

"Yep, besties for resties! Welcome to our girl gang now!"

And that was how our meal situation was paid for.

After we paid for the food, we each went our separate ways, with Anna and I walking towards the same place.

We walked in silence, it now being nighttime. The stars sparkled in the night sky above, and the moon was waning away to third quarter.

"Hey Master Hiro?" Anna asked, breaking the silence.

I had given up on her to stop calling me master, and turned towards the beautiful girl, who's height was at my shoulder, walking next to me.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Did you mean it, what you said?"

She was talking about the aftermath of the time loop. I sighed and thought back to the conversation I had the two Anna's...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The time loop now broken, us three and Raijin were met with the setting sun, openly in view due to the demolished wall. I was knelt in front of Purple Anna, who looked shocked at my statement.

"I guess your arrogance was well warranted. Who would've expected something like that?" she said, laughing. Her purple eyes had a sense of relief in them, and her entire body had started to relax.

"Do you mean it though? Can you really be our Time Traveling Hero?"

I grasped her hand tightly, looking her dead in the eyes. "I do." I took a deep breath before continuing.

"You know, when I first heard about this Time Resistance Task Force, time loops, and The Time Traveling Hero, it sounded like something out fiction. I wanted to do, and jump right in, but prior circ.u.mstances kept me from going along."

"What changed your mind?"

"The idiot behind me. What she said as she was clearly on the verge of death, it reminded me of an emotion I had cast aside long ago." Yeah, in order to suppress that one emotion, I ended up cutting everything else out as well. Due to my sister's condition, I forced myself day in and day out, keeping these emotions of mine underneath the surface. But now...

"But now, Anna, I've decided to no longer suppress my feelings, to be as honest with myself as I can possibly be. Just because my sister's happiness is now gone, doesn't mean I have to cut my own out as well. Because!"

Her purple eyes widened as she continued to hear my speech.

"Because, I want to be happy as well!" I said, finally saying the one thing I had let myself deny for so long. "I want to make memories, have friends, be able to do the things I want to do! But, I also wish to help you out, the girl who helped me change my ways. So, of course I'll be your Hero!" I finished, grinning at Purple Anna.

Her purple eyes started to water as tears of happiness rolled down her face. "You mean it? You're not lying to me? You'll actually do it?"

I nodded, my determination at an all-time high. I grabbed Silver Anna's hand and clutched it tightly.

"I promise the both of you. And this is one I intend to keep for as long as you need me."

Purple smiled at me as she slowly started to fade away into little balls of light. "Then, I'll leave the rest to you, my Time Traveling Hero." And then she was gone, all that was left of her the tiny balls of light that lingered a while longer.

I got up from the floor and nodded at Anna. "Ready to go?" I asked, as the school started to rebuild itself.

She nodded, and we walked out, hand in hand, toward the setting sun.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I scowled at her question, thinking back on the events. "Of course I meant it, what else would you think?"

She simply shook her head, her long silver hair whishing around with her. "It is nothing at all, just wanted to confirm Master's resolve," she said, a small smile on her face. It seemed that she too was also coming to terms with her emotions.

"We have a holiday this weekend, so we will leave tomorrow for the base," she continued as she suddenly stopped.

This weekend? They want to meet me so soon? "Alright, is this where we separate then?"

"Affirmative, I will see Master Hiro later," and with a whoosh of her wings she was gone.

And so close to my house as well, I thought as I walked the remaining distance by myself. I opened up the front door to find my lil' sis sitting on the steps, waiting for me.

"I'm home," I said.

"Welcome home," she said glumly.

"I bring a peace offering for being so late!" I said, offering her the bag of food I had gotten her.

She didn't move. I sighed and made my way to the kitchen, putting the food up in the fridge before making my way back to my sister, who was still in the same place.

I plopped myself down next to her before wrapping my arm around her. "Sorry, but there was a lot happening today."

"Hmm."

I gently stroked her hair while continuing. "You know, there is a reason I've been out like this you know."

"Hmm."

"It has to deal with time loops, death defying battles, water fights, and interesting club."

"Big bro, that's a little much even for you," she muttered.

"It's all true, and it's also partly all for you," I said.

She finally looked over at me, curiosity in filling her eyes. "Well, I guess I wouldn't mind you telling me."

I grinned before putting her in a headlock, mussing up her auburn hair. "That's the spirit Luna, no need to be so glum!" I released her just as quickly as I had put her into the lock.

"Well, before I tell you, I actually need to go to the bathroom first," I said before making my up the stairs.

"Hey, wait a second big bro, you really don't want to go in there!"

Huh? What could she mean by that? I made my way to the bathroom and opened the door. I quickly used the bathroom and washed my hands before turning towards the towels. It was then I noticed something amiss. Instead of the normal pair of towels, myself and Luna's, there was a third addition now.

I scowled. Did my parents come back? No, they would use their own bathroom. Before I could think any further, the door leading into the bath and shower opened, and out walked a dripping, n.a.k.e.d girl, about my age, with long silver hair.

I blinked when I realized who it was. "An-Anna!?"

"Affirmative, that is who I am Master Hiro."

I put two and two together. "Luna!!" I yelled out, ignoring the n.a.k.e.d beauty for now. Well, at least I got the lucky shower scene.

I rushed back downstairs, and Luna was still there, clearly looking guilty.

"How long?"

"Um, since she got here..."

"WHAT!?!?" I roared out.

"Sorry big bro, I couldn't help myself. She didn't even have a place to stay, so how could I kick her out?"

My sweet, adorable, kind, naive sister. I sighed, the anger going away. "Ah well, you did a good job of hiding her. I didn't even notice."

She looked confused. "Are you not mad?"

"I could never get mad at someone as adorable as you," I said before giving her some head pats.

"Well, this works out well for my story anyway. You can't tell our parents this story, they'll kill me if they found out."

I sat myself down next to Luna, who's glum self had now changed to one filled with happiness and curiosity. Yep, that was the look we craved for. A happy Luna makes a happy Hiro I say.

"Now then, where should I start? Ah yes, it all started the day reality cracked."
