Chapter 14 - Incident 2

"Alfi!" Rachzi shouted at him the moment he noticed that Alfizar run towards the escalators to the second floor. But he has already neared the escalators when Rachzi noticed where he was.

He did not heed the warning, as he chased the culprit. He doesn't think about him chasing some unknown and probably dangerous man was really not a good idea. He had forgotten.

The sudden rushed of blood made him felt... right... It was yet another familiar feeling. It must have something to do with his vision and nightmare. The fight, the adrenaline, his fast beating heart, the breathlessness... Those feelings were very familiar with him that he forgot he was not in the vision, he instinctively began to chase the culprit. He got to the second floor.

Bang!

Alfizar slammed open the thick glass door that had an archery motive on it, just in time he saw the culprit disappeared from his sight at the end of the hall. The loud bang of the door awoken him from the situation that he thought was yet another vision.

But it's turned out he was actually chasing after someone that poses a potential danger towards him. Considering that he narrowly escaped the arrow. There was a great possibility the arrow was aimed at him. What was he thinking?! What if the target was really him? But why? Was that traitor finally caught up to their hiding?

Alfizar was about to chase the culprit that just disappeared at the end of the wall when he choked on his shirt collar that was pulled by someone.

"What did you think you are doing!?" A familiar voice sounded from behind him. He turned his head only to see the half-agitated and half-angry Rachzi pulling his collar.

"Razi..." Alfizar said as he began to gain control over his ragged breathing from the adrenaline rush. "How is the girl?" He asked Rachzi. He remembered that girl's condition doesn't look good. How could she be fine? After getting pierced by an arrow. Alfizar almost chuckled at the stupid mental question.

"The girl? You mean Emma?" Rachzi sigh. "She is not good, but it's definitely not a life-threatening injury." The commotion on the floor below was loud. They have not brought her to the infirmary yet. Maybe because of the fear of worsening the injury.

"Why don't you take her to the infirmary? You are capable of carrying someone without agitating their injury right?" Alfizar said as he holds on the guardrail then he looked down to see the sobbing girl as her skirt began to stained red with her blood. There were no one brave enough to pick her up and brought her to the infirmary. Rachzi stood close to him, his eyebrows knitted in worry.

"Then how about you? I can't leave you alone here." Rachzi then began to look left and right. Maybe looking for someone to stay with Alfizar. Ah... he thought about the promise with Henry of not leaving Alfizar alone.

"She needs the medics help!" Alfizar insisted. Rachzi nodded as he reluctantly left Alfizar alone. As he descends through the escalators, Rachzi took out his phone out, he taps the screen then pinned it between his ear and shoulder.

Rachzi waved to the other students to gave him a little space then lift the girl up carefully. Rachzi walked out from the club's room with the girl, Emma, in his arms along with Brianna and a few students, they left the Archery Club's room.

From where he stood, Alfizar could tell that Rachzi was talking to someone from the other side of the phone. Alfizar slides down then he leaned heavily against the guardrail. He sighs.

He knows perfectly well that what he had done before was dangerous. What if this was a situation where he chased a murderer, for example. Though the possibility was low... for now. As he does not know what the future hold for him. But his body moved before his mind even registered that his body has moved!

Now the adrenaline has gone from his system, he could feel how tense his muscles were. He let his body relaxed. He could hear his heart thumping loudly. He closed his eyes to rethink his earlier action. What kind of past... or future did he have? To have those kinds of reflex and instinct. And that sudden vision. He still couldn't saw the peoples faces in his visions.

"Humans tend to look for something as high as their height, huh..." Alfizar sigh, he smiled to himself. To think he could spot the culprit.

Then he suddenly thought of his pocket watch. He has been trying to turn the time back like that one time at home almost a month ago. But it never worked. Alfizar took out the pocket watch. Then he turned the time back to fifteen- no, twenty minutes ago. Then he waits...

And nothing happened. Alfizar looks around, afraid the same thing like when Henry startled him happened again. But he was still there. Nothing change. Alfizar then turned the time back to its rightful time. He was really sure that he did not dream of that time traveling incident. And the possibility he comes from the future was big too. But, how? The pocket watch probably could only turn back time in twelve hours.

Alfizar shook his head, then leaned back to the guardrail. He closed his eyes to rethink of everything.

* A few rooms away from Archery Club *

"Haaah... haaaaah..." With his head hanged low, the boy gasped for breath as he just runs away from that room. He gritted his teeth as he leaned his back against the wall in the dark storage room.

He doesn't want to do this! He was forced! If he did not do it, then...! He gritted his teeth again. But he didn't intend to injure the girl! He only aimed it closed to that new kid. He never intends to injure any of them! 'I'm forced! I'm forced... by him!'.

He still remembered what had happened yesterday as clear as crystal!

* A day ago *

A boy stepped out from the toilet then he washed his hands. He did not notice the black figure behind him until a cold metal pressed against his neck. He stopped his movement, his heartbeat spiked up in surprised and fear for his life.

He was about to turn around but the knife pressed deeper against his vulnerable neck. He gulped down to soothe his sudden dried throat. He kept his body still afraid any move would endanger his life.

That was not until he felt the pressured on his neck slightly lessened that he moved quickly to reach for his bow as a defense weapon against this person's knife. But he was yanked back then crashed into a toilet's door by a powerful side-kick. The boy g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain.

A pair of feet appears before him. The person who has thrown him to crashed against the toilet's door was wearing black and his face hidden by a black scarf and wearing a hat. He couldn't saw his face at all.

"W-who are you?" The boy asked with a low voice, he gripped his shoulder in pain while dragging his own body to move away from the person in front of him.

"If you want you father's company not to lose their only investor, you have to do as I said." Instead of answering his question, the person whispers with a force heavy voice to conceal his real voice.

'Ah, it's him. Now I'm his target? I'm not even in the class' top ten!!'

*Present ime*

The boy took a deep breath to calm his breathing. He fixed his messy hair and turned his jacket inside out, then he tied the formerly-black-jacket-now-red to his waist. Then he makes his way out of the storage room.
