Chapter 60 - Blacklist Weapons

"That man must be crazy." Henry's eyes widened in disbelieve.

"He is never sane in the first place. His obsession to become a successful individual is so big that he is willing to do anything." Harlock shook his head as if he was dizzy, then sighed regretfully. "For Samuel's and Renata's hard work to fall into his hands.

"What is this blacklist weapon?" Alfizar asked carefully, just judging by Henry's grim face, he could tell that it was not something good.

But, when alfizar was little, he could remember his father getting angry over a proposal about producing new kind of weapon. But he can't remember who submitted that proposal.

"Blacklist weapons are the kind of weapon that is only available in theory and has never been made before. But, if the weapons could really be produced, there will be a big danger. Not only for us but also to any other countries. If I'm not wrong, it was a new type of biological weapon and laser beam powered with nuclear." Henry explained what he knows about the blacklist weapons to alfizar with a grim face.

Alfizar really doesn't know much about the laser weapon, Henry talked about. But biological weapon, wasn't it already banned by the world organization?!

"You must be kidding me," Alfizar shook his head. "Wasn't biological weapons research has been banned? After the world's leaders requested for this type of weapon to be destroyed, and any research regarding it will be labeled as a threat to the world's safety."

No one directly answered to Alfizar's statement because everyone already knows the answer. Instead, they just nodded to confirmed Alfizar's words.

A biological weapon was something that has been used a lot of times during the war even when the technology was considered as ancient when compared with the current technology, the last biological weapon used during the war was probably a little over one hundred years ago. A biological weapon or Bio-weapons, contain viruses, bacteria, toxin, poison, or anything that could inflict harm to human, plant, or animal.

During ancient times, this harmful weapon used to clean the target easily, but there was a downside to the use of such a dangerous weapon. Other then enmity, a war was done because one wants to conquer their target's land. Either for the technology or natural resources. Once the war has gone as far as not caring about their gains and only care about winning, they will use such a dangerous weapon to kill. Only for an easy kill. They only want to watch the end.

And the results? The land is contaminated with dangerous invisible living germs that will contaminate you and kill you without you noticing when you are infected. The land will be no different than a haunted country. B.a.r.e of living beings.

For the land to recover and safe to live in, it would take years of disinfection. That's just how terrifying the bio-weapons were, the world is already damaged this far, the human with their current technology even couldn't predict the weather. Weather disaster. And if war still going and add the bio-weapons on top of it. The world would be met it ends sooner rather than later.

Alfizar remembered how furious his father at that proposal with his mother trying to calm him down because of it. At that time, they were in his father office with a man, Alfizar was ushered out of the office with him holding Aurina's hand. They have Henry to acompany him and his sister.

"Then, they must know of the risk of developing such a weapon. Tell me uncle, who would dare to buy that weapon?" Alfizar turned to look at Harlock hoping for him to tell Alfizar that there's indeed no one dares to buy it. Because they would be labeled as a threat by the world's leaders.

"Alfizar, there's an organization that didn't fear the government, nor did they care about human's life, to begin with," Harlock said with a grim face. He was right, even during this seemingly peaceful time, it was impossible to stop criminals. With today's technology, it was much easier for them to make a deal on the black market, whether it was directly or through the internet.

It was impossible to stop them from selling slaves, human organs, uncertified weapons, stolen good, and many other things, and the one who makes sure such deal will go smoothly? Of course, their organization who already hate the government to the core!

The Mafias.

"The Mafia organization," Alfizar mumbled under his breath, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear him. Zio let his back fell against the sofa in an exhausted manner.

"The situation is becoming more and more complicated." Zio's raised his palm to massage his aching temple.

"Bro-brother..." Aurina stuttered as she reached out to hold Alfizar's sleeve. Her expression was unsure, "Brother, how could we face such an organization?"

Alfizar put his hands over her hands trying to calm her a little. But instead of answering her question, he fired another question at Harlock.

"Uncle, has this, Vacazor, sold this bio-weapons yet?"

"Not yet." Harlock shook his head, and Alfizar sighed in relieved. If Vacazor really has sold it and the government finds out... Then his parent's effort has really gone to ashes.

"But the weapon has already been developed, and from what my informant told me, Vacazor has already got a potential buyer for it. But for the laser beam, although it was only a prototype, has already been sold to an anonymous buyer." Harlock answered him.

Alfizar fell into a deep thinking.

'Being develop, and a possible buyer.'

If the bio-weapons has not been sold yet, then that's mean Vacazor has not established a stable relationship with any organization yet, so he forced the shareholders to believe in me and Aurina's death. In fear of my 17th birthday. That's mean, Alfizar has to begin snatching his company back before his birthday, and make sure Vacazor lose his potential back up.
