Two days before the full moon, Hunters Association had gathered already the opinions of all its members regarding the case of their missing comrade Samuel who was held captive by the werewolves.

The higher-ups already came up with a decision regarding that matter. All hunters were being summoned for a meeting as the Hunters Association would share the announcement with them.

Even all the hunters at the academy were now gathered in the meeting room.

Ethan and Jeston were sitting beside each other inside the meeting room. There were hundreds of them in the meeting room.

All of them were very eager to know what would be the final decision of the Hunters Association. Samuel's life depended on it.

Whatever would be the decision was, one thing was for sure, it would greatly affect the hunters. After twenty minutes of waiting, the meeting started.

"Dear brothers and sisters, we are all gathered here today for this very important announcement. So listen carefully to what I am about to say to you." the spokesperson coming from the Hunters Association said to them.

"Three days ago we received a message from werewolves who kidnapped one of our comrades, Samuel. I want you to know that the association was very saddened when they saw it."

"We knew that even you were angered upon seeing the situation of our comrade. Those beast are challenging us, hunters." rage was evident in his voice.

"But we all know that in this kind of situation, we should control our emotions and see things objectively in order for us to come up with a sound decision."

He paused for a moment and observed the reaction of everyone inside the room.

"All of you have shared their thoughts about this matter. We know that you balance everything as you voted."

"We were all put under the dilemma between saving the precious life of our comrade or turn a blind eye about this because we all know that this was a trap laid by the cunning werewolves to lure more hunters in their territory."

"And after deliberating, the Association came up with the decision, considering the thoughts of all our fellow hunters."

"The Hunters Association decided not to conduct a rescue operation for the sake of securing the other lives of our fellow hunters. We are sorry but we need to sacrifice Samuel's life for the good of many." there was a tinge of sadness in his voice.

This announcement gathered different reactions from the hunters. Some had already predicted this outcome.

There was no way that the Hunters Association would put the lives of other hunters in danger for the sake of only one person.

There were hunters who were disappointed with the decision since they thought that once they were captured by werewolves, the association would not make any move to save them.

It just so happened that they were lucky that they were not the one who got captured this time. But what would happened in the future?

Ethan was also one who was displeased with that decision. Even though he and Jeston had already expected this, but he could not still accept this.

The meeting was adjourned immediately. Other hunters did not make any further fuss regarding the matter since the decision was final.

Ethan and Jeston left the meeting room with gloomy expressions on their faces. When Titania saw it, she knew that the decision was not favorable for Samuel.

She had also been waiting outside the meeting room. She was also eager to know what the association had decided.

"Hey... I can say with your expressions that you just heard some bad news, am I right?" Titania greeted them right away with such a remark.

Jeston just nodded at her and smiled faintly. Ethan just stayed silent. He was in a bad mood obviously.

"Why are you so looking like that? Did you forget? We already made an alternative plan for this. No need to be so upset. Cheer up." Titania was trying to coax Ethan.

Ethan turned to look at Titania only to see her bright warm smile. Her words and her smile were enough to lighten his mood.

'Hmm, this girl could be useful also sometimes. I wish she is always like this, someone who is helpful, not someone who always annoys him and always starts a fight with me.' Ethan thought to himself.

Finally, Ethan loosened up a bit and his mood had slightly improved because of Titania.

"Okay, let's go to your room. We have to polish our plan and prepare for it. We only have two days left for our preparation before the full moon." Ethan said to them.

Titania nodded with excitement. The three of them proceeded to her room in order to discuss their plan.

Meanwhile, The White Claw Park had already chosen the other members who would join Travis Team.

They were also preparing everything before they would leave tomorrow in order to meet the Blood Moon Pack.

Travis's group was composed of six werewolves including himself and his beta, Diego. The other four members were Ashton, Kevin, Rolly, they were the most skilled werewolf fighters of the pack, and Alexa, one of the deltas.

Travis gave them the final instructions.

"Tomorrow, early in the morning, we will leave and start our journey. Bring the only essential things, food, some weapons, although we will not able to use it once we transform."

His last statement gathered a peal of loud laughter from his team members. This was one of the reasons why they loved their alpha, Travis.

Despite his strength and power, he was not intimidating unlike other alpha, instead, he was an easy-go-lucky type, approachable and very friendly.

But no one wanted to see the angry Travis because they knew that once Travis was very serious and mad, he became a different person, a very frightening powerful werewolf just like his parents.

"I will only have one rule, don't be separated from one another and have each other's back no matter what happens. Is that clear?" This time he sounded so serious.

"We understand alpha." They said at the same time.

"Except for Diego. I gave him a special task." Travis said as he smiled at them sheepishly.

He scratched the back of his head, making him look cute in front of his team members.

The team members burst into another laughter after seeing their Alpha's cute reaction. He could easily lighten the mood with his simple words.

"So what can you say about this mission?" Travis asked them to know their thoughts and opinion.

"It is my honor to be included to join the team for this mission. I will do my best to support you, alpha." Ashton said with all his honesty.

"I am also happy to be part of this mission. I will put my life on the line just to protect you, alpha." Kevin said with his sense of utmost duty.

"Hey, that's my role. You are snatching my role bro. I sense some competition here." Diego commented, he pretended to be threatened.

They laughed at his remarks. They knew he was just joking.

"Then I must say, I will protect Alexa here, our only delta and the only lady in our group." Rolly also joined the fun conversation.

"Hey... I am not that weak. Do you wanna try and test my strength?" Alexa said as she raised her brows.

"No... I take back what I had just said." Rolly said as he smiled at her apologetically.

He did not want to anger a delta. He knew how dangerous they were once you angered them.

They might not be powerful when it comes to physical strength but when they used their brain and schemed about you, you would surely fall in a difficult situation sometimes called misfortune.,

Travis gave them a grateful look. He was satisfied with his team. He could feel that they were dependable. His father really knew how to choose.

Aside from them, there were also some werewolves who were preparing a great surprise once their enemies come.

Members of the Blood Moon Pack already set up their traps against the hunters at the Riverdale Forest.

They were expecting a blood bath on the night of the full moon.

Because whether the hunters would come or not, there was someone who would surely die that night, Samuel Jones.

Unless fate would intervene, then Samuel's life could still be saved.
