To Be A Hero: A MHA Fanfic

Shino was humming to herself as she enjoyed the juice box in her hand. She was sat on the well known hospital bed in the same room she had visited multiple times before. She had went through multiple tests that lasted around thirty minutes. The doctor wandered off to run the results in the lab. While she waited she told Nemuri more about her quirk and it's conditions.

"So you need sugar to prevent you from suffering dangerous drawbacks"

"That's right"

"And despite the amount of sugar you consume on a daily basis you still feel sleep deprived the entire day long"

"Yes"

"And despite your d.e.s.i.r.e to sleep you can't because your brain won't let you"

"Correct again"

Nemuri was quiet for a moment and only stared at the contented Shino. She hadn't notice how tired she seemed until that moment. She was very good at hiding it though.

"You are one tough kid" Nemuri said. "How much sleep do you get? "

"At least four hours. Every night I spend hours writing down my thoughts until my thoughts arent trying to split my brain in half"

"Must be frustrating "

"It is sometimes. Most of the time, but the sugar does give me some energy even if it doesn't last too long"

There was a click of the door opening and in stepped the doctor. He held a notepad in has hands and was writing down unknown notes.

"What's up doc"

"All of your physical attributes" was the reply from the doctor.

"I knew that already though. Tell me, do I have a venom sack in my throat? Bio-electric energy threads produced from fingers? Tiny hairs that aid me in sticking to objects? A danger sense? An ability to camouflage myself? "

"Um.. Yeah, you do actually. How do you know that? "

Shino sighed and finished her juice. "Yesterday I discovered that I could produce some sort of white flame. If I focus I can turn it into anything I want. I turned it into a notebook and found that i could write in it if I pictured the words on the pages. My friends suggested I come up with a quirk just for fun and I did. I came up with a spider mutant quirk. It would give the user enhanced physical attributes and abilities of the spider. Lo and behold the next day I wake up showing the characteristics of the very quirk I created the day before"

"You're saying you created this quirk? "

"Yes"

"You created this quirk? "

"Yeah I just said so aunt Nemuri"

The doctor adjusted his glasses and started to pace around the room.

"I guess it does make sense. Your body produces cells that can turn into any other everyday. When you had written that quirk in that flame of yours your cells must have worked to create the cells that would give you the abilities of the quirk you came up with. Maybe that's what they were waiting for. Orders. "

Shino rubbed her chin in thought.

"I was and still am feeling activity in the pit of my stomach. It's like a constant stirring. It increased yesterday when I had written that quirk down" Shino mumbled. "If what you said is true then.... "

"You have the ability to create any quirk you come up with" Nemuri said with sudden realization.

"This is amazing. Such a thing has never happened before. Its one in a million! " The doctor could not hide the excitement and bewilderment he felt. "The constant activity in your body tires you out making you feel sleep deprived. You'd easily fall asleep because of this so your body must have created a security system in the form of your forcefield bubble"

"Having the ability to create quirks would require me to know a lot about quirks and how they work, maybe that's why I can see information about anyone I look at. I mean I get a full on explanation about their quirks, weakness and drawbacks. When I stared longer the list lenghtened to show me strengths and possible super moves as well"

"You saw all of that? "Nemuri questioned.

"Yes along with your s.e.x.u.a.l preference, some of your past, your favorite things to do and eat, the amount of money you make, your health status, blood type, possible illness, worst fear, greatest wish, flaws, your parents name and their quirks, your grandparents too, your fertility and a lot more"

Nemuri blinked in shock and felt very exposed.

"So you know everything about me, even things I don't know"

"It appears so"

"What's my health status?"

"Healthy"

"Possible illness"

"None as of now"

"Flaws? "

"Your sadism its also one of your strengths. A double edged sword"

"That is impressive. My theory is that you gather all of that information to use it to your advantage. If you were to have some sort of illusion quirk you could create the illusion of someone's greatest fear"

"Nice idea doc" Shino said thoughtfully. "An Illusion quirk is very useful and powerful in it's own way. Anyway about my stickiness "

"You'll have to learn to control it. So make sure to wear gloves and shoes whenever you're not practicing your control. You'll also have to learn to control that new strength you have. You could do a lot of damage if you didn't know how to restrain yourself. Those webs you produce and shoot are very weak now, but with practice they will become stronger and more durable. You'll also have to learn control of your bio electricity ability "

"I have a lot of work to do" Shino rubbed her temples. "I have a quirk that can create quirks. No wonder it causes me so much trouble. "

Another thirty minutes were spent going through some extra check ups and Shino was allowed to leave. She was already familiar with the layout of the hospital that she casually directed Nemuri out when she lost her way.

"So Shino, what do you want to do today? " Nemuri asked once they got in her car. Shino was allowed in the front seat and enjoyed her new privilege.

"I don't really have anything in mind"

"Are you sure? "

"Yep, we can just stop and get some food"

"Alright, I know just the place"

Nemuri started the car and pulled out of the hospital driveway. The ride was quiet for some time as Shino stared out the window.

"No one can know about my quirk, huh? "

Nemuri glanced at her for a split second. Her quirk was very serious and Shino must know that. If the wrong people were to get word of it she could be in serious danger.

"Your quirk is something never seen before. If the wrong people were to find out you could be in trouble. And let's not forget the fact that your two of the most well known heroes' kid. You're already in danger as it is"

"That's tough. Well I won't tell anyone except my friends. They were there when I used the flames and it was because of their suggestion that I found out what my quirk is"

"That's reasonable, I guess"

Shino sighed. Having such a quirk would aid in her journey to become a hero, but it also puts her in a lot of danger. Being the daughter of well known heroes is tough. As it is now not a lot of people know she even exist. The only ones who know of her existence are friends and family. The same could be said for Izuku, Katsuki and Sora. Especially Sora. He's the son of the number one hero in Japan. He's the one with the highest danger risk.

Shino pushed the drawbacks aside and instead thought of all the advantages such a quirk gives her. She can create any quirk she could come up with and with her ability to gather info on others it would be easier for her to know which quirk to use. As it is now she only has one created quirk. Or is it two? Was the bubble quirk created to counter her lack of sleep. The doc said that her quirk tires her out so if she were to make another quirk she would feel very sleep deprived again. Maybe It'll get to the point where she can't keep herself awake for long. If that were to happen she would be vulnerable so the bubble is a defence. She wondered how strong it is.

If she has a quirk that creates quirk that means her body can hold multiple quirks.

With more than one quirk could a look from Shota stop her quirk as well? He has the ability to stop or interfere with someone's quirkfactor rendering their quirk unusable for as long as he looked at them. So would he cancel her quirk to create quirks? And if so would that in turn cancel all the quirks she had created?

"Hey, do you have any idea what you'll name your quirk? " Nemuri asked.

"A name? "

"Yes, your quirk is a new type and has no name. You should do the honors"

Shino hummed. Nemuri did have a point. She could give her quirk a cool name.

The ability to steal quirks and keep them to yourself. All for One.

The ability to pass down a quirk. One for All

The ability to create quirks.

"I think I'll go with One by Millions "

"One by Millions"

"Yes. It sounds cool and actually fits. I am one person and can create millions of quirks. Those millions of quirks in turn define me, the one. I would be a hero shaped by the millions of quirks. One by Millions"
