To Be Yours: Love, L.u.s.t, Chaos

The same night, a nightmare made Noor shiver. She was screaming and crying in her sleep. Jimmy woke her up, he was so tensed. Noor woke up in a jolt, her expressions were of fear, she was drenched in sweat and struggling to breathe.

Out of breath, he offered her water. He himself was panicking but asked her what happened. Without waiting for an answer, he stood up and turned the lights on.

He sat back near her again after removing the pillows in between. Her hands were shaking. He took her hands and started rubbing them one at a time.

After calming down, she replied, "I saw a nightmare. I was so scared" With tears in her eyes, she held his hands in a tight grip.

He saw her worries and the grip of her hands. Her hands were small compared to him and thin.

"Hey don't worry… I am here; there is nothing in this world that can harm you when I am here. You understand?" he had confidence in his tone. She nodded back at him.

"Let's go back to sleep Noor?"

She nodded again.

He switched off the lights and coaxed her to sleep. He removed all the sweat off her head with his hands and held her hands. For the rest of the night, she slept peacefully.

When she woke up the next day it was early in the morning. She saw Jimmy deep in sleep. She tip-toed to the bathroom and prepared bath water for herself. She stepped into a big closet to get herself a dress.

Meanwhile, Jimmy woke up and sleepily walked into the bathroom to relieve himself. He was standing with his eyes closed. Not worrying about a thing in the world, busy doing his own business.

After picking a dress for herself she turned the doorknob and walked straight into the bathroom.

"Ahhh… what are you doing?" she screamed. He got startled and turned to face her without realizing that he has not buttoned himself.

"Ahhh… what are you doing still…" she threw her towel at him and turned around. She shut her eyes and cheeks turned red.

The towel dropped at his feet. He looked down to see exactly what flew at his face. He realized in what condition he is. As if he received a shock, his eyes grew wide, and with the speed of light, he buttoned his pajamas.

His sleep flushed down the toilet.

"Sorry… I didn't mean to… I will just leave at once", he stormed out of the bathroom, embarrassed.

"Oh lord, forgive me for I have sinned…" she sighed.

At the breakfast table, the scene was very interesting.

Both of them were eating with utter silence. Only the chewing noise could be heard, both of them were looking down.

Nancy was confused like a puppy dog with her head tilted at one side. She was talking to herself, "what has happened between them exactly? They are eating without speaking, not looking at each other and not even speaking to me… what have I done?"

[I am such an idiot] He was thinking to himself. [She must be embarrassed too. Or is she impressed with what she saw? Am I a good down under?]

He sub-consciously looked down his crotch. [Stop being a pervert Jimmy]

If he could he would smack himself in his face.

On the other side of the table, Noor was absent-mindedly thinking: [how can a person be in a deep sleep, wake up, go to the bathroom in milliseconds? Is he a superman or what? Oh God, I should have knocked…]

Jimmy excused himself and left the table after having his breakfast.
