Isaac continues to overrun Arcadia's forces with his outstanding strength. No one survived after him, and his great sword cut through the enemy forces in every direction.

O'Brien, on the other hand, adopted a strategy of thoroughly avoiding the attacking Isaacs and cutting down the rest.

This worked perfectly on the battlefield on the first day, and for a time the Arcadians had the upper hand.

However, on the following day, Isaac's second-in-command, Fierro, immediately responded, and the battle was again 50-50, or rather, Arcadia gradually became outnumbered.

The next day, however, Isaac's second-in-command, Fierro, responded immediately.

"I see. I see. He has come to keep his Excellency afloat and kill the others. Interesting. I'll take care of it from here."

On the first day, Fierro was on the front lines following Isaac.

On the second day, he returned to the rear of the main camp to break down the defensive O'Brien and began to take overall command.

Immediately after he took command of Meltor, the battlefield changed dramatically.

With his brilliant command skills, he was able to optimize Isaac's movements with his large army of 80,000 men.

The 80,000-strong army was moved for the sole purpose of the general alone.

If Isaacs' army cracked the front line by charging into Arcadia's army, he would have his followers charge into it and pry open a hole, and if Isaacs' army was unable to get into the front line, he would have to charge back into it.

Also, if there was an army trying to evade Isaac under O'Brien's command, he would prevent its escape by drawing pressure from the opposite side.

In this way, he tightened up the Arcadia army and gradually overturned the war situation.

O'Brien, who was being pushed day by day, was by no means inferior to Fierro in his command ability. Rather, if it were pure superiority, he would have won.

The reason why he still could not win was simply because there was a gap in strength that was hard to fill. The Arcadia forces numbered approximately 30,000 in total. In contrast, Mertor had about 80,000. And Isaac is the leading leader.

Since Arcadia could not easily move Schneizel, it was only natural that they would be forced to fight an uphill battle.

 However---.

There was no way that a man who was capable of losing like this could have competed with Ghardias for the position of general.

It was the fifth day since the beginning of the fighting.

O'Brien, who had been on the defensive since the second day, suddenly made his move.

"We can't win this battle if we keep going like this."

O'Brien looked around the battlefield and muttered to himself as soon as the fifth day of the battle began.

There is no chance of victory. There is no smell. No sign. No path to victory in sight. No strategy for the flow of the battle.

Reason and sensitivity. The things that have been cultivated over many years on the battlefield do not interact in any way with winning.

If Schneizel were to be sent out, this inferiority could be temporarily reversed, but that is not possible. The best pawns are a deterrent to the enemy because you don't know where they are.

Therefore, it is necessary to hunt the enemy while keeping the trump card in the open.

"Hmmm. It takes a lot of stimulus to overturn the place, but ------ seems to be the way to go. Bucks, here."

"Ha."

O'Brien called on the loyal servant who had served him for decades. It was a muscular old soldier.

He was past his prime, but still in good shape, a testament to the tremendous amount of training he had put himself through.

"As I told you before, I'm going to make a big move here. I want you to be my predecessor. It's a dangerous mission with no guarantees of life, but can you do it?"

"What are you talking about? To be your first spear on this great stage will be the greatest honor of all."

"I'm sorry."

"You have nothing to apologize for. Slaughter the enemies that stand in your way and prove that you are the strongest. That is my only pleasure."

The young O'Brien was a great fan of his and became his subordinate, or was saved from a situation where he had no choice but to die, and that is how he gathered his direct reports.

All of them fought to support O'Brien's dream of becoming a general, and from the day his dream was dashed until today, they have been waiting for their chance.

They were defeated in a political struggle for the position of general in the Kingdom of Arcadia, and were sent to a remote place far away, where they seized power and expanded their military for the sake of this day, this moment.

Nothing had anticipated that he would come face to face with Isaac.

Even so, on a huge battlefield that would stand alongside today's, they would achieve results that were on par with the great generals of the past and leave an imprint on the world that their Lord was great.

 For that reason alone---

"Ha, you guys are ready."

Bax asks his men just before the fifth day of battle begins, and he realizes that it is futile.

Everyone is ready to fight. Everyone is willing to go to their deaths. Words are no longer necessary. Their weapons will tell the story of their fighting spirit more eloquently than anything else.

 Hence,

The moment the signal for the start of the battle rang out, the Bucks dared to make a reckless charge.

They streamed into the enemy position in the most aggressive formation. In the straight line of their trajectory was Fierro, the linchpin of the Royal Army of Meltor.

"Oh, he's going to take me down, isn't he? Interesting."

Facing the approaching backs, the front line of the Royal Army of Mertor changes its formation gently. The front line of the Royal Army of Meltor slowly changes formation as it spreads out to surround the enemy.

On either side of them, another O'Brien faithful was mounting an assault.

Bax's, and by extension O'Brien's, control over him would not be hindered. He was prepared to accept death even if it came here, and he blocked the lid of the siege.

"Death, my men! Well, then, go ahead and take your deaths!"

While being astonished by the barbaric behavior of the enemy, Fierro handles the army with precision. The fact that the formation of the encirclement was stopped was unexpected, but it was only a poor plan accomplished in a reckless rush.

Because of the hasty assault, O'Brien's men were few in number, and unless there was some irregularity, he could have crushed them by simply moving his men slowly.

 But--

Five minutes, ten minutes, however long it took, the enemy soldiers could not be eliminated.

Even if one or two can be taken out, the majority of the enemy will use their extraordinary leadership skills to escape the danger and attack the encirclement.

No matter how talented O'Brien's subordinates were, it was impossible for them to outmaneuver Fierro, who gave precise orders in a situation where they were outnumbered.

Then what in the world was going on?

Fierro once took a bird's-eye view of the entire battlefield, and this time his eyes widened as he faced an impossible situation.

"What, that, , joke of a strategy!"

"Ha, you're still second-rate if you just stick to the basics, Meltor chick."

To my surprise, O'Brien had made it to the front lines on the battlefield. His men would react excellently because they were in close proximity and receiving the Lord's instructions.

Only a few dozen people, including a very small entourage, guard O'Brien's perimeter. It was a force that could have been defeated with a small poke by a small unit.

In such a situation, he smiles wryly.

"Look, , what's the matter? The head of the enemy leader is here."

--- O'Brien's appearance rattled the front line.

Before Fierro's command in the rear could get through, the front line soldiers were heading for O'Brien to take the credit.

If leadership is thus disrupted...

"Now! Charge!"

Bucks and his men attacked and bit into the enemy's defenses.

Naturally, this situation was not only advantageous to Arcadia.

Since they were outnumbered in the first place, if the battle were to get crowded on the plains, it would most likely be Arcadia's side that would lose.

In addition, what is frightening is the enemy general.

Isaacs, who had spotted O'Brien, was the first to begin his assault, abandoning the other small fry.

What was about to begin was a race to see who would lose their commander first, Fierro or O'Brien.

Fierro is protected by his own troops, while O'Brien flees across the battlefield, where friend and foe are mixed up.

And the warriors, including the aides who protect O'Brien with their lives---they are forced to fight to the death.

 Among his bodyguards is Norwin.
