"Your noddles is getting cold, CEO."

The producer who was wearing glasses said as he stared at the CEO and the noddles on the table.

"How can I eat my food when we haven't even casted someone for Yiren's character."

"But I thought the last actress was good."

"Director Fu didn't liked her. I can't reject his idea and just cast her."

"What about the rookie Top star entertainment was sending. Her name is Xiao Rin, right."

A producer who was stacking up the files said.

"Well, we have not seen her audition. From what we have heard, she is someone who had trained for years and now preparing for her debut."

"Yeah, they must have thought that it would be easier to get the role since the male lead of our drama is from their company."

"Yeah, but can't we just cast her. I saw her picture, she was cute and even her age was just right for the character."

"We can't do that just based on that. She's a new actress. Director Fu will surely oppose it."

CEO Wang retorted as he started swallowing his noddles, maybe out of frustration.

"Yeah, but it's strange that they would send an actress if they are not confident in it. Maybe, she would be good."

"We will have to hurry. The higher ups were creating a mess saying that we should hurry up with the audition and start the shooting."

"I also want to hurry up but we can't go on with lousy actors. We will ruin a good script if we did that."

"Yeah, but I heard that Xin Ren was pushing up for that new actress."

The producer wearing the glasses suddenly said attracting all the attention in the room.

"Really! His acting was great, I admit it but why was he pushing for her."

"Maybe, they are friends from trainee days. There are things like this."

"But Xin Ren wasn't a trainee in Top star."

"Anyway, they are coming to the audition tomorrow. It's good that they are hurrying as we don't have much time."

"Yeah, the script reading session is coming up. We have to announce the cast before that."

"I will personally oversee that rookie actress audition."

CEO Wang suddenly said as he stopped eating his noddles.

"You CEO? Why?"

"I am just getting a feeling that she will surprise us just like Ren."

CEO Wang said as he started gulping down the remaining noddles in a hurry.

"Are you nervous?"

"No, I am okay. Just a bit….nervous!"

Xiao Rin said as she sighed. They were currently outside the Arc production office.

Today was the day of her audition. Naturally, she was nervous.

"Thank you for coming with me. I know you are busy."

"I told you I was free. Don't worry about it."

Ren said as he shrugged his shoulders. Due to his drama, Jiang Wan has cancelled most of his schedule, so that he can focus on his drama.

"No, I am grateful regardless of it."

"Let's not waste time talking, let's go."

Ren and Xiao Rin then entered the office. Ren was fine since he had been here once but Xiao Rin was curiously looking around the office since it was her first time in a production company.

"Ah, Ren you are here."

As they were going towards the audition room, they were suddenly met with Zhu Yi.

"Writer Zhu, are you also going towards the audition room?"

"Yeah, Is she the actress taking the audition today."

Zhu Yi said as she glanced towards Xiao Rin. She was looking curiously at her seemingly trying to find out if she can fit into the character of Yiren.

"Brother Ren, who is she?"

Likewise, Xiao Rin was also looking suspiciously at Zhu Yi. As she had never met her, she didn't knew that she was the writer of the drama.

And the other reason was that she felt that Zhu Yi was too close with Ren, it made her somewhat angry.

"Oh, she's Zhu Yi, the writer of «The stars above»."

"Ah, sorry, I didn't knew it was you."

"You don't have to do that. I am basically a new writer. I hope you can pass the audition."

"Thank you, Writer Zhu."

"By the way, Writer Zhu, why are you here?"

Ren asked that question as writers originally don't appear in the audition until it's for a main role.

"I was just curious as I heard that you are coming with her. I just thought it would be great to see her audition."

Zhu Yi said as she smiled. Her previous cautious and scared attitude towards Ren was long gone.

She had talked to him a few times and she knew that he was not a bad person. That's why their relationship got better.

"Then, I think you will be surprised by her."

"Really! Then, I will look forward to it."

Xiao Rin was only occasionally able to interfere in their conversation.

She felt strange seeing this and thought that she have to learn a lot to be able to be a part of their conversation.

Honestly, she felt a little left out but she didn't show it on the surface. She had learned endurance from her training days.

After a short while, they finally reached the audition room. Xiao Rin curiously glanced at the room.

There were many cameras in the room and there were many different people too. They are the producers and the members of the staff.

Xiao Rin quickly glanced at all them and introduced herself.

"Hello, My name is Xiao Rin. Nice to meet you all."

"Yeah, nice to meet you too. Let's quickly start the audition."

CEO Wang came towards Xiao Rin and said. He was curiously glancing at Xiao Rin as to see if she can play the role or not.

"Yeah, we have already decided the scene. So, let's get over with it quickly. You have memorised your lines, right."

"Yeah, I have."

"Great, let's start it, then."

CEO Wang said as he gestured towards Director Fu to start the audition.

"Wait a minute! Can I act as her counterpart in the scene."

Suddenly, Ren said something that attracted all the people attention. Director Fu looked at him curiously as he said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I acted as her counterpart during practice. I think I can do it."

"Then, let's go with that."
