Transmigrated Into The Book

"Okay, Line up according to your class.."

The students gathered around the school parking lot, preparing their things for the trip. The faculties are assisting them, while Yang, as the School Organization President, was helping them for their seat numbers.

Yang was turning and swirling every minute, he was looking for that familiar figure.

He went early to School today, Jihoon didn't come with him, the omega told him that Minyeok was going to fetch him instead.

"Daewon!" the grain of sunshine jumped on his shoulders like a little kid "I want to sit with you and Jihoon on the bus" Minyeok was cheerful as always

He was surprised but remained calm when he saw Jihoon "G-Good M-Morning.." the omega on the side spoke meekly.

Minyeok went back to Jihoon's arms and cling on him tightly "I'm so glad, Jihoon came with me, it's so hard to let him join" then Minyeok sulked with his pouting lips.

The teachers called them. Everybody was hyped as the bus took off, but went silent in the middle of the trip, they all started dozing. Yang looked at the window, his mind far away.

"Yow! You want some?" Sunghoo poked him and asked him if he want some chips

"No, I'm fine.." and then Yang went back to his thinking. The person behind that mask is still bugging him so much.

He was so quiet, until they arrived at the campsite. 

The forest was tannin-brown. The morning stars peeped down at them like silver asters, glinting and shimmering. They walked in groups, the grasses they're stepping on were crackly beneath their feet because of the recent dry spell. After a few minutes of wandering, they finally arrived at the 'event place'. The teachers asked them to build their tents first before starting the activities.

Yang and Sunghoo were partners in doing their tents, he was so busy to look for Jihoon right now. The students are keep crowding and asking for his help.

At last! Everyone gathered to start the program. The first activity was a game, they were divided into groups; each group contains four members. "Yay!! We're in the same group!" Minyeok yelled at them as they covered their ears, he was lively as always just like your daily dose of sunshine. Yang, Jihoon, Sunghoo and Minyeok belong to one group. The first game was pretty successful and fun and so on. For the last game of the day, it was called 'hunt in the forest' They will look for the hidden objects inside the camp site until they reach the finish line. Each group has its own ribbon color tied to their wrist, Yang's group color is yellow.

"Isn't exciting?! I wonder what object we will find first" Sunghoo who was leading the way exclaimed his excitement "I agree!.. Im so looking forward on this" Minyeok second the motion

The sun already went down, five things to look for and three are already found. They stopped for a bit to rest. "Jihoon.. are you okay?" Yang reached his water bottle to the male sitting on the fallen log of a tree "Mhnm.." he replied as he took a sip

"Let's go! Let's go!!" Minyeok was jumping like an excited child in a play fair, this made Sunghoo chuckles "You're really full of energetic vibes, aren't you?" he said

They stood up all together to continue, Jihoon was behind Yang as they walked, he kept on looking at him every time. This is the first time for the omega and it seems like he was trying to cope with his uncomfortable environment.

Yang noticed the untie shoelace of Jihoon so he stopped the male and crouched down "Are you tired? You are very quiet" he said while knotting the laces ``T-This is my f-first time joining a camping so--" he was stunned when Yang hold his right hand "I know, that's why I'm here.." he said

{Well, I know I'm not the male lead, but at least I'm here with you}

"Where are t-they?'' They both looked around until they noticed that they already lost the two. "Oh no! We don't have the map! Sunghoo was holding it.." Yang brushed his face "Damn!.." he clicked his tongue. "What are we gonna d-do now?" Jihoon asked, he was feeling uneasy.

The Alpha grabbed his hand again, but it was tighter this time "Don't worry. we will eventually find them.. don't be scared, I'm here.. let's go"

It was a long walk, the area they're stepping is already getting darker, night is coming. Number of stars are now peaking in the sky, shining and shimmering. Yang did everything to comfort Jihoon's feelings. He was very careful with him.

{This is very uncomfortable, m-my heart is pounding}

AUTHOR: It's because he keeps on squeezing your hand

{Shut up! It's because he was scared!}

"Ah!" the male behind him fell on the ground, the sting shot his ankle like a fire. He cringed, he was in pain. Yang hurriedly crouches down and checks the omega "What happened?! Are you okay?" he slowly removed Jihoon's shoes and saw the redness on his ankle "Ngh!" he exclaimed when Yang accidentally touched the swelling area.

"You have sprained on your ankle, we need to treat it first.. Crap! this is bad!" The Alpha blurted out, he pulled his hair from annoyance.

{What should I do? Should I carry him?}

AUTHOR: Are you doing those one from romantic movies?

{I'm not thinking that right now! I'm worried here! Dang!}

Yang kneeled down letting his back face Jihoon "Hop on, I'm going to carry you, we can't go on if you're like this" 

The omega blushed his heart out, he was feeling embarrassed and guilty at the same time "Y-You don't need to d-do th--"

Yang zipped his mouth and said "It's okay.. I really don't mind" he added

Jihoon wrapped his arms around Yang's shoulders "Hold well, you'll fall.." The Alpha spoke before heading forward. They head to the woods quietly, only the sounds of crickets and rattling sounds of leaves can be heard. Only the warmth of their bodies brings heat to the cold night.

"Hey Jihoon? You okay there?" Yang shook his shoulders a little, but the male clinging on his back didn't speak nor move. "Jihoon? Are you--oh! you're sleeping on me again.."

Yang stopped for a bit and then brushed the hair leaning on his shoulder. The omega was peacefully sleeping. 

{What am I gonna do now?}

AUTHOR: You mean? How to get back to the campsite?

{Dang no! I mean.. Seeing this cute face is so irresistible}

AUTHOR: What irresistible?

{I mean, Can you even ignore this cute face over here?}

Jihoon blinked his eyes a few times, the darkness met his sight. Little by little the sparkling diamonds that give light along the moon gradually peek into the clouds. The night sky was a song in his eyes. Stars filled the sky like pale corn into freshly turned ground. It was the promise of life in the darkness, a sense of warmth springing from the cold.

"Do you like it?" a voice peak on his side, the side profile of Yang leaning on the tree was glimmering along with the night light, his eyes were fixated on the moon far away from them

"You love stargazing, don't you?" he asked again

"Y-Yeah.." Jihoon can't take his eyes off from the beautiful scenery, He was always looking at the stars every night, but it feels so empty as always. Yes! He loves stars that much. But he didn't know that it will be this amazing when you're with the special person in your life.

"Jihoon.. how's your foot?"

The omega curled his knees a little "I-It still hurts.." he said in a low voice

{This is so wrong but it's so romantic}

AUTHOR: What do you mean wrong?

{Minyeok should be with him right now, I'm not the male lead}

AUTHOR: How can you say that?

{It's because this is their love story}

"Jihoon, Im sorry.." The words are heavy, it was piercing Yang's heart. The male looked at him with a puzzled face "Sorry? for what?" he asked

"You know, Minyeok.. I shouldn't be interfering with you two.. you know.. from the sta--

"It's okay.. I understand.. Minyeok has been like that since we were kids, I envy him.. he was so cheerful and lively" Jihoon looked up the sky again, he bit his lower lip

{So, they're literally childhood sweethearts}

"W-When we were in 6th grade, after my mom's funeral.. my aunt took him overseas, they left me here with my father, his mother doesn't want to help us" Jihoon spoke, expressing the sadness on his eyes

Yang froze from where he was sitting, his head slowly turned to Jihoon's gaze "You're aunt took him?"

He tilted his head and then blinked a few times "But? You said that you love him?"

A little smile drew on Jihoon's lips "Yeah, He is my favorite cousin"

Yang almost slapped his forehead "You guys are cousins?!!!" he exclaimed with his eyes wide opened

"Y-Yeah.. We are cousins, that's why he was so clingy to me"
