{Wait a goddamn minute! What was happening?!}

'...He likes me? Does he like me!? How about Ruru? Didn't he say that his love for him was endless? What is he trying to do? Did he know about the curse? I think I need to be cautious from now on' 

Wuwu pushed Chen Lou away from him "Y-Your highness!! You are just mistaking your feelings for me! I am just a homeless mad man!" He exclaimed 

"..pfftt!" 

Chen Lou covered his mouth using his sleeves, he giggled after seeing Wuwu's reaction. While the other male was left in daze and confusion.

"You really are an interesting one" The Prince straightened his back and then he held Wuwu's hands. "No wonder  Xian was so drawn into you" then his lips became silent, letting go of Wuwu's palms.

"My servant will lead you to your room, please enjoy your stay here… tell me if anything goes wrong" then he went behind the curtain again, Wuwu stood up and bowed his head before heading to the door.

As he close the door, he saw two maids waiting for him outside, the one wearing a traditional pink dress smiled at him "Welcome to the palace Master Xiao, we are here to guide you back to your room" she said

The other one wearing white glanced at Wuwu and then she winked at him secretly. He can see that the other female glared at the other one. 

{Wait a minute! I bet I am handsome}

"Uhh..L-Ladies?" Wuwu said as he smiled nervously, the two look at him with a face like two cats clawing each other, then they bowed after a few minute "We are very sorry, Master Xiao" the other one cling to his arm "Please let me guide you to your room" and then the three headed on their way to the other building.

Wuwu released a long sigh after closing the door, finally! He can now rest assured. He let his eyes wander around the area, the room was big and wide, with a folded futon on the shiny wood floor, the wall designs were very classical and good for the eyes. 

"Now, What am I gonna do here?" he slid down, head on his knees. "When will Ruru come and see me?" he uttered

{Ehhh?! Wait a minute! Why am I even thinking of him right now?!}

{Stop! I can imagine you smirking!}

Wuwu decided to troll around the palace since he wanted to explore the new place. The moonlight was cold and peaceful. The cold night was tucked under a woollen dove-grey sky. He stopped by the pond, the rocks under it were giving a light sound to every flow. 

Wuwu sat on the grass, leaned his head under the magnolia tree, the flowers swayed with the wind, the balmy scent from the flowers slowly made him a little sleepy. 

"Enjoying the night?" 

Wuwu jolted the moment he heard another voice, he quickly turned around and then he saw Chen Lou looking down on him with a grin on his face. 

"Crown Prince?!" Wuwu exclaimed as he hurriedly bowed his head "Pardon my rudeness, I should apologize" he added

Chen Lou chuckled "It's okay, no formalities" then he sat down beside Wuwu, letting his shoulder touch the other male. "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" a warm smile was shown on his face.

Wuwu looked at the Prince's side profile, it was a good chance to scan the other man's face. Chen Lou got this perfect jawline paired with his high perfect bridge nose, his eyelashes were long and thick combined with his pretty deep blue ocean eyes. The Prince is indeed handsome and beautiful.

"You are staring too much, I feel embarrassed" Chen Lou couldn't hide the fact that it turned his face red immediately. While Wuwu hurriedly bowed his head touching the grass "I'm very sorry! My rudeness is unforgivable! Please punish m--" his eyes widened the moment he saw Chen Lou laughed, holding his stomach.

"You are so funny" then he laid down on the grass, still laughing his heart out. 

{Uhh? Is he making fun of me?}

Wuwu just looked at the Prince with a big question mark on his face. "P-Prince Lou?" he uttered

Chen Lou stopped laughing, he put his arms under his head and then he let his eyes enjoy the moon, "The time for him is too short" he uttered

"Ehh? Are you saying something? Your highness?"

The cold breeze once again passed through them, the flowers above fluttered while some petals slowly fell down, Chen Lou reached out his hand to catch one, then he blew it off from his palm "Xiao, do you want to hear a story?" 

Wuwu jolted the moment he heard the Prince speak after a few minutes of silence. "W-What is it? Your Highness?" he asked unconsciously 

"Do you want to hear a story?" 

Wuwu turned his head to the Crown Prince "It's my honor to hear such a wonderful story from Your Highness" he said quickly 

"Once there was a Prince in a Village, he was known for being the perfect one until one day...people started cursing him, the Prince ran away far from the Palace to find himself alone, he went to another village, in that village… he met a boy" Chen Lou glanced at Wuwu and saw an interesting face

Chen Lou smirked "Do you know what happened to the boy he just met?" Wuwu gave him an unsure face.

"I didn't have any answer right now, Your Highness" Wuwu replied 

"The boy died…" Chen Lou answered 

Wuwu was stunned after hearing the Prince's reply and then he lowered his head "How cruel, Why did he die?" he asked

"It's simple...because the Prince have a curse, the boy tried to save him but it's too late"

Wuwu's lips went downward "It's a tragic story, Your highness"

"It is"

The next morning, Wuwu woke up to the noise of the morning bell. He rubbed both of his eyes, the warm blanket caress down to his shoulders. 

"Master Xiao, the Crown Prince was inviting you to eat breakfast with him" the servant behind the door announce after knocking

Wuwu replied and then he fixed himself as the servant left. He was walking on the hallway when he noticed a familiar figure leaning on the balcony. He was talking to Chen Lou, Wuwu can tell that it was him just by looking at his back.

"Good Morning, Xiao" Chen Lou greeted him the moment he stopped in front of them. Wuwu didn't noticed that he was staring at Ru Xian for so long. 

Ru Xian glared at him and then he averted his gaze "You dare look at me like that!' he sneered

Chen Lou giggled "Xian, such a short-tempered...Now since Xiao is here, let's all eat breakfast" and then he lead the two inside

After eating, Chen Lou was already running for his morning ceremony as the Prince, so he left the two to give them private time.

Wuwu was still in daze since he was not used to waking up early in the morning, while Ru Xian was just kept on staring at him for half an hour, he was waiting for the male to initiate a conversation. Ruru gritted his teeth after an hour, annoyance crawled up to his body "You!" he exclaimed

Wuwu jolted from his seat "Ehh?! W-What is it?!" he said surprisingly

Ruru slammed his palm on the table "Why are you talking to him so casually?! How dare you!" he snarled

Wuwu didn't reply immediately, he thought for a minute and then he realized what Ruru was talking about, it was when he and Chen Lou were talking a while ago. 

'LOVE METER REDUCED BY 3%'

'CURRENT PERCENTAGE: 42%'

{What?!}

AUTHOR: You are dead

Wuwu moved closer to Ruru's position, the other male jolted in surprise.

"Are you angry?" Wuwu pinched both of Ruru's cheeks as it bulged. And then he looked him straight in the eyes. "This is so unfair!" he complained 

Ruru flashed red the moment he felt Wuwu's warm palm so he slightly pushed the male away from his face "L-Let me go.." he uttered

Wuwu, on the other hand slapped his own forehead "Ruru.." he said "You need to tell me if you're feeling something uncomfortable" he said

"Are you jealous of the Crown Prince Chen Lou?" 

Ruru's brows twitched as he bit his lower lip, he never felt like that before, but when he saw how the two were comfortably talking to each other a while ago...his heart suddenly felt something. It was like he wanted to throw Wuwu back to his secret chamber.

Wuwu smirked the moment he saw Ruru's ears become red immediately, of course Ruru wouldn't admit that he was jealous. 

"If you admit it, I'm going to give you my 'bid' right here, right now!"

Ruru's eyes widened, something came up to his system like a jolted electricity. "How dare you mock me! You little---"

Two bodies collapsed on the floor, When Ru Xian tried to stand up, the hem of his robe caught by the corner of the table, it caused him to stumble, he ended up falling on top of Wuwu.

Their eyes locked, the air between them tightened. Wuwu grabbed Ru Xian by his waist and then he smirked.

"Ruru, You are so aggressive"
