The night was deep, the moon was the only one witnessing the two bodies running away from disaster.

The man, who was running behind the other one, stumbled upon the slippery and rocky road.

"Wuwu!.." Ru Xian dashed for rescue, he held the other man's arm.

"A-Are you alright?" He worriedly asked

The man who was clinging on his shoulders smiled and nodded back, he was so fragile that he couldn't speak at the moment.

"Come here, I'm going to carry you on my back.." Ru Xian suggested as he was lifting Wuwu up

"N-No...I-I'm okay.." Wuwu said as he winced to resist the pain

Suddenly, the quiet night roared. Small teardrops fell onto their skin, another thunder was heard.

"We better find a place to shelter...Wuwu, hurry.." Ru Xian used all his strength to support the weak body he was supporting.

Wuwu looked at him and smiled "Y-Y you don't-need to worry about me...I am fi---" he was stunned when Ru Xian pulled him onto his back. Wuwu tightened the grip on Ruru's arms when he felt that he was elevated. 

They managed to reach the end of the forest, on the right side; they saw a cave. 

Ru Xian quickly went towards it, then the rain poured down noisily. He slowly laid down Wuwu who was sleeping soundly. His eyes became gentle, he patted Wuwu's head. 

Wuwu felt it, he knew how warm Ruru was. He was just too lazy and weak to talk and open his eyes. Yang never experienced such things in his life, the third world really has an amazing plot.

Ru Xian's eyes became gloomy, his eyes were only looking at Wuwu. He was angry for himself because he couldn't do anything for the male. Then he remembered what happened in the past, he wanted to forget it but it was hunting him everyday. 

He lowered his head as he clenched his jaw, the rain was pouring down so hard and so his heart. It was so heavy that he couldn't even think if he should stay beside Wuwu any longer. He suddenly felt something inside his chest, then his eyes became sore for the second time.

He couldn't control the tears welling up from his eyes, it gradually fell down to his cheeks like a child. He bit his lower lip, trying to stop the sobbing sound from his mouth. 

"W-Wuwu..I-I-I..I-m sorry.." he inhaled so deep to make his voice clearer, then he slowly held the other man's palm who was sleeping in front of him "..I-It's m-my f-f-fault…" he uttered

Ru Xian's pupils dilated in surprise when he felt a grip on his palm. "Wuwu!" he exclaimed

Wuwu held his cheeks, showing a happy smile "Ruru" he uttered, then he bent closer to let their foreheads touch. "Why a-are you crying?" he managed to make a chuckle, he let his fingers run to Ru Xian's cheeks and wipe his tears "Im fine, I am gaining strength because I'm with you.." 

Ru Xian sniffed "J-Just lay d-down and take a rest" he said, but Wuwu just tapped his chest

"I'm okay, maybe because my bid is reacting when we are this close" 

Ru Xian found assurance in his answer, so he moved away a little "T-Then, Can y-you g-g-give me permission to t-treat you?" he asked

They become quiet in an instant, they know what Ruru is talking about, He will transform to his wolf form to cure Wuwu using his saliva. Only the pouring rain can be heard echoing inside the cave.

Their eyes locked, at once their faces blushed. 

"It's okay, I trust you," Wuwu said, lifting up the atmosphere.

Ruru bounced from his place "A-Are you sure?"  then Wuwu nodded back

The Prince stood up, and then a smoke slowly entangled around him. A gray wolf appeared in front of him. It's eyes only fixated on the male sitting on the ground.

"Come" 

Wuwu reached his hands in the air, letting the wolf's soft fur touch him, he embraced it and patted it's head. "R-Ruru, you are so adorable when you're like this" he said

Ruru's tail wagged in delight, he felt excited so he gave Wuwu a lick on his face. It caused Wuwu's body to lean against the rocky wall. "J-Just be careful.." he uttered

Ruru understood it, so he slowly put his paw beside Wuwu and then he let his tongue caress the other male's neck, Wuwu released a sudden sound but Ruru didn't bother with it.

Ruru went down to his chest, he first looked at it for a minute. Waiting for Wuwu's scolding, but the male didn't say anything. Ruru couldn't resist the urge he was feeling below his stomach, it was hot and irresistible.

"Ow!" Wuwu whined as he felt another warm silky substance caressing his chest.

"Hmgh!!"' He covered his mouth, restraining himself to release an uncomfortable sound.

"Ruru, s-slow down!"

"Ngh!" He whined again as he felt another pressure onto his sore wounds.

Ruru continued to treat his wounds. He couldn't even understand what he was feeling anymore at that moment, he felt warm even the rain outside was cold. He can only feel his heartbeat, skipping so fast like it was rushing through his veins.

Wuwu gasped when Ru Xian finally finished, he was speechless with his face so red as cherry, while the wolf in front of him turned back to it's human form. Ruru used his robe to cover Wuwu's body.

"Let's stay together like this for a moment"

"Are you feeling cold, you should put on your robe, I'm okay now..My wounds and bruises are already gone" Finally, Wuwu's energy was refilled again.

Ruru didn't respond, he rustled his head towards Wuwu's chest "You are so warm...Wuwu" he snuggled like a little kid.

Wuwu felt a little overwhelmed so he let his arms crawl around Ru Xian's back, squeezing him tight in his embrace. The two stayed like that for an hour until the rain stopped.

Wuwu was sleeping very soundly, his wounds and bruises were already gone, but the pain inside his body was still there. The night was cold and warm at the same time, Ru Xian's temperature was giving him enough heat to sleep well.

Ruru woke up in the middle of the night, he saw how cute Wuwu was with his sleeping face. It somehow made him smile. He slowly removed his arms around the other male, and then he fixed the robe that was covering Wuwu's body as a blanket.

He sat beside the man, he noticed how long Wuwu's eyelashes were. Then his gaze went down to his lip's, he couldn't resist to look at it for so long. His head moved on it's own, leaning down towards Wuwu's face and then he gave him a peck.

Ru Xian was taken aback the moment his face turned red, the butterflies inside his stomach flattered it's wings, delivering a different emotion towards his system.

"I don't know why am I so drawn into you.." he slipped a slight chuckled

Ru Xian remembered the first time they met, he was so careful around Wuwu trying to protect himself. It was the first time for him to experience different things at his age. Wuwu has the most beautiful smile he'd ever seen. 

If he knew that they would end up like this, he should have treated Wuwu well. Anguish crawled up to his chest again, he felt how heavy it was for the second time around. He remembered how Wuwu held his hand when they're away from the palace, he felt how worried Wuwu was at that time.

The kiss they did at the tower, it was not only for the bid because he knows that he already poured his heart into it. The way Wuwu circled around him every time just to get his attention. 

His hands crawled to Wuwu's head once more, his fingers played the male's hair.

"Xiao, I'm so happy I've met you, If I am going to meet someone again, I wanted it to be you...I've longed for you for so long, now you are finally here again I don't know how to keep you away from them, I want to protect you because I couldn't even protect you back then..I have so many things to say but the night isn't long"

Ru Xian paused for a second, trying to hold his tears as he lowered his head
