"What is happening?!!"

Homura, who had just finished slicing down the group of low class vampires downstairs, asked Yuna as they both rolled behind the door. 

"Five low class vampires are roaming upstairs!" Yuna reported after firing the gun towards the two vampires who was chasing her a while ago

Homura stood in front of the woman "Just follow me, I will cover you.." he ordered while Yuna nodded in agreement, she let the male take the front line as they both passed the long hallway.

"Yuna, Where are the other squads?" Homura asked after charging towards the two low class vampires who approached them unexpectedly 

"They are still not reporting back! Hiyaa!!!" she kicked and beheaded another vampire behind the male

They were both gasping for air the moment they finally left the inside of the Mansion. The grassy field of land welcomed them. They turned their heads around, making themselves alert from any attacks. 

But instead of seeing another enemy, a familiar figure welcomed their sight

"We've met again!!" Liev exclaimed in sarcastic voice

Yuna gritted her teeth "You damn creatures!!!!" she snarled holding her sword very tight 

DAYS BEFORE THE ATTACK…

"Finally! I can run and train well!!" Homura happily exclaimed after the two weeks healing process of his sprain 

He was busy clothing himself when Tadashi knocked on the door and asked him to go to the Mansion Garden because Luca wanted to tell him something.

As usual, Luca was sitting on his favorite spot in front of the flowers. He was watching the sunset again.

"What's wrong?" Homura was now used to Luca's presence and character however he had still so many things to asked and know

Luca didn't answer him in an instant, he remained silent. He lowered his head while Homura watched his perfectly bun hair dance with the afternoon breeze. 

"You seemed gloomy.."Homura commented once more

"Homura, I wanted to be with you longer" Luca replied

It caused the other male to look him straight in the eyes "Uhh..L-Luca, you can stay here as long as you want.." he said with a confusing tone

"I can't.." Luca replied straight to Homura's face

Homura's jaw dropped open "Ehh? What do you mean?" he asked

Luca stayed silent for the second time, letting the dandelion sunset reflects through his eyes "Homura, We are fated to each other before the war.." he said

"F-Fated What?"

Luca released a languid chuckle "Homura, I was born because of you...You are the destined one to take my life.."

Homura froze, something inside his mind was not functioning well the moment he heard Luca's speech, there was a ting sound banging his ears. He closed his fist, then a sudden pain struck his chest. 

"Is this my mission? Kill him after loving him?" he thought to himself

Luca stood up and kneel in front of him, helding his right hand "I would rather let you kill me than my brother.." he caressed his face using Homura's palm, like he was feeling the male's gentle warmth 

Homura snapped himself back so he grabbed Luca's shoulders "Stop! This is not what we agreed for!" he protested

Luca lifted up his hand and kissed his palm. "But you can't stop the curse of destruction, I don't want to be eaten by the evil and kill everybody…"he said

Homura felt the other male's warmth by cupping his cheeks back, he lifted up Luca's chin towards him. Their eyes locked just like the sun touching down the horizon gently. 

And under that sunset shadow, he saw Luca's eyes turned to sadness. Homura senses something inside him like a part of shattering glass. Like a cracked that was already broke by something heavy

Luca smiled at him "Homura, no matter what happens.." he released a heavy sigh "Please promise me, promise me that you are going to kill me.."

Homura's palm slightly tightened on Luca's cheeks, but the other male just caressed it gently "We don't have enough time for this" Luca said in a lonely tone 

Homura's eyes dilated in surprise and sorrow, he tried to resist the heaviness he was feeling under his eyelids "I..I w-will.." then he bit his lower lip

"I will protect him no matter what!!!"

Homura's eyes were full of determination after yelling his announcement. After that day, they found out that Liev wanted to kill his brother and the only way for that is to capture him back together with Homura.

"General Homura, I respect and praise your bravery, but isn't it good for you and for your people?" Liev suggested with so much determination in his eyes to kill Luca

Yuna glared at him so hard "How could you do that to your own brother?!!" she yelled angrily 

Liev smirked "Brother?" then he laughed hysterically "Lady Yuna right? you seem to have misunderstood our relationship as siblings" he said sternly "I am trying to be a good brother, I will bring prosperity to our empire by killing him! It was for our peace!" he exclaimed

Homura's anger at him only deepened "Stop claiming such things! You are just a selfish brat who only wanted the throne!" he sneered

"Then I guess you love violence!!!" Liev screamed and in an instant he flew towards Homura like an invisible flashing wind with his sharp nails. The two were left defenseless by his agility and speed.

"Burghh!!!!"

Lots of blood covered Homura, he was astonished the moment he opened his eyes. The familiar name slipped automatically from his mouth

"Luca!!!!"

Luca emerged from the shadows as he quickly blocked Homura's front to protect him. He coughs blood after feeling the pain of his brother's sharp poison nails. Luca's body can regenerate fast, but because it has poison; it will take some time

Yuna quickly dashed towards Leiv, but the male was fast enough to dodge it and flew away. 

Homura caught Luca's fragile body "Luca! Hold on! Don't die on me!!" he exclaimed 

Yuna was hesitant at first but Homura needed support and she knew that she was the only one who could give it. The woman dashed towards the two, she slipped out one talisman and ordered the cursed soul to heal Luca. He was a vampire so she wasn't sure if it would work.

After a second, Luca's bleeding wounds finally stopped. Yuna slapped Homura very hard "Go and save him, you idiot! Stop panicking!" she ordered 

Homura's eyes widened "B-But how about you?!" he exclaimed back

"Leave this to me, Luca is important to you, right?" Her words were heavy with a smile that struck Homura. Yuna supported them by using another talisman, she cast a spell and then a portal open up

"Go!!" she exclaimed 

Homura was very worried and didn't want to leave her behind but he also needed to save Luca.

"I said go, you idiot!!!!" Yuna screamed once more

Homura fixed the expression on his face and nodded his head. "We will go now, follow us after you killed that bastard!" he said

Yuna smirked back "Leave him to me! I will follow you two.." she said

Then the portal finally disappeared together with Luca and Homura.
