Chapter 8.1 – ClearSprings TL

Tang Tang used to be busy and had to bustle about every day.1TN: I think she was referring to her past life Now, she does not have to film and, for the time being, she does not need to go to school. She was somewhat unaccustomed and did not know what to do with herself for a while. In the end, she pulled out her mobile phone and downloaded a game. She lost interest after playing a few times. She got up off the bed, thinking about going down to the second-floor gym to do some stretching. When she reached the stairway, she changed her mind and went back.

The second floor is Ming Shaoyan’s private area and the doors to each and every room were tightly shut.

Ming Shaoyan’s entire being gave off an aura that alienated strangers, especially her. This morning, when he received the coffee from her, the word disdain was directly written on his face. If she used his gym equipment, she might trigger his grudge.

She still had to rely on Ming Shaoyan to help her whitewash and pave the way for her to re-enter the entertainment circle.

When it’s time to bootlick then just bootlick. Life is really not easy! Tang Tang sighed and went downstairs. Right at that moment, Aunt Cheng was coming up with a plate of cut fruits.

Tang Tang quickly took the plate of fruits and thanked Aunt Cheng. Aunt Cheng still maintained an overly enthusiastic attitude towards her. Tang Tang went up to the second floor, turned a corner, and looked back. Aunt Cheng was still standing there looking at her with a kind gaze.

Once she returned to the bedroom, Tang Tang forked up a piece of dragon fruit. She ate while she unpacked Tang Tang’s suitcase.

It was a fairly big suitcase. It contained 7 to 8 articles of clothing. The pants were not bad, but the tops all had revealing necklines and exposed the shoulders.

No matter how good her figure is, it should not be treated so poorly. She officially starts school tomorrow. These clothes can definitely not be worn. Tang Tang wore a face mask, preparing to go out and buy some clothes.

Just as she was about to go out, Aunt Cheng knocked on the door. Ming Shaoyan had someone send her something.

The person who came was Ming Shaoyan’s handsome little secretary. The handsome little brother directed the people to delivery the things to the living room while he spoke to Tang Tang.

“Miss Tang, you are 1.72 meters tall and weigh 45 kilograms. You probably wear size S clothes. Based on your information, you wear size 37 shoes. You can first try these on. If they do not fit, then we can exchange them.” When he finished speaking, he glanced at Tang Tang who had her mask on. “Presently, it’s best if you stay home. Director Ming said it is not suitable for you to go out and appear before others at the moment, particularly in crowded areas like downtown.”

Tang Tang: “… Understood.”

It was actually quite considerate, but the words did not sound very pleasant.

Tang Tang did not try on the clothes. According to the novel, this body was depicted to have the perfect figure with the golden body ratio. As long as the clothing was sized accurately, size S clothing was good enough. She selected the ones she liked and had them sent to the bedroom. The wardrobe that was empty just a moment ago was filled to the brim in seconds.

Tang Tang changed into a relatively loose set of casual clothing. She checked the time, which showed 5:30 p.m., so she went downstairs to ask Aunt Cheng, “Will Xiao Shu come back for dinner tonight?”

Aunt Cheng became even more cheerful when Tang Tang took the initiative to ask about Ming Shaoyan. She repeated quite a few times that he will be back, “Six o’clock on the dot.”

As expected of Ming Shaoyan to be able to give this time so accurately.

It just turned 6:00 p.m. when a familiar black Maybach stopped at the parking spot and Ming Shaoyan’s silhouette appeared within their line of sight. As usual, Aunt Cheng went outside to receive him. Tang Tang stood up from the sofa and followed her out.

She must seize every opportunity to get more familiar with him and increase his favorable impression of her.

Ming Shaoyan raised his head. As usual, Aunt Cheng once again came out to receive him. But, there was another person standing beside her who quickly gave him a smile when she met his gaze.

A word suddenly popped up in Ming Shaoyan’s head. Bootlicker.

However, the bootlicker is truly beautiful. Even Ming Shaoyan, who was accustomed to the beautiful women of the entertainment circle, also could not help but admit that his niece is too good looking, especially when she smiled and revealed a small dimple at the side of her mouth.

Ming Shaoyan noticed her dimple back when she smiled at him during their first meeting in his office.

Today, Third Uncle just received news that he already brought Tang Tang back to his side. He was clearly angry when he called him to inquire about the situation, but still had to forcibly restrain himself. Ming Shaoyan hung up the phone, unperturbed, his mood greatly improved.

Just when he got home, he remembered that there was an extra person in the house. Someone that he was not particularly fond of. Ming Shaoyan felt some inexplicable irritation. But, looking at the haze-free smile and dimple at the side of her mouth, Ming Shaoyan’s gaze faintly rippled. He handed his coat to Aunt Cheng and walked while asked a question.
