[Artifact- A magical device created through the use of Magic, it is divided into ranks from 1-9, 9 being the highest known to be created. And there are also unknown rank devices created by the universe known as Legendary, systems are one kind of them]

As he slowly processed the information, he was started to tremble due to excitement. Because this single definition, told him that there is the existence of Magic and there are people who can control Magic.

While thinking what magic could possibly be, he checked for the definition multiple times to confirm he was not dreaming.

Knowing that it could possibly dangerous as maybe the other artifact holder could possibly detect him too. Who knew if it was with some kind 'mage' that could control magic and kill him. Or maybe it might be just a random rank 1 artifact lying around that may help him. Thinking for a while he steeled his resolve and decided to try his luck.

Eric ordered the system to find where the artifact was.

As the system carried out the order, he could feel his strength draining from him along with the stamina. With heavy eyes and trembling legs he forced himself to stay awake.

Thankfully there were many kids just like this all around him, lost in his thoughts he did not notice the passage of time. So as he sat down to rest on his exact spot much like the other kids around.

Only now, when he was looking around did he notice that the sun was about to set in the horizon.

The two boys looked at each other with eyes full of distrust. Just as Ray was thinking of what to do, he heard the instructor dismissing the class of students.

Standing up slowly, Eric walked towards the castle while signaling Ray to follow him in. He needed to know if Ray was a mage or more importantly if he could be trusted.

Thinking about how to start the conversion both of them walked in silence towards his room. As any other location would be appropriate to start the conversion. After entering the room, and locking the door.

As Eric turned around, Ray asked him "Who are you?"
