Travelling In The World Of Pokemon!

It was early the next day Jay was already outside swinging his sword to cool his nerves, he felt quite excited that he League sent a Deserter to battle again him meaning that the Tournament is bound to be more exciting. But the history of this guy is troubling, last night Jay hacked into the database of the league once again but this time he made sure to hide his trace and remove it when he was done. The details of the guy is:

From this File it appears this guy only used three pokemons to battle so far from this Jay could see that this guy is a strong trainer but he was a bit bothered over the Estimation Ranks as this kind of Ranking should be a bit higher if that guy truly survived in the outside world. Or could it be that it was not so dangerous as the books described? Well best to be fully prepared this time, he can't make a slip up like he did with Team Rocket which almost got his mom in real danger.

Jay: "Issei Tanaka huh? Not sure who named him as such, but I will have to watch out for him if he truly is a otherworlder like me then he must have some sort of ability... I am not sure but I might be forced to use the Reality Marble if it comes to it"

After a few hours...

Mom: "Jay! Time for breakfast!"

Jay: "Coming!!"

Jay wiped off the sweat from his face and went first to wash his hands before returning to the kitchen to eat his breakfast, which was more abundant than usual.

Mom: "Eat up! Today will be the Registration day and since I Knew you would be up early because of your excitement I made some extra"

Jay: "Hehe, Thanks mom"

He felt quite embarrassed being seen through his mother like this but yes, it could actually said he feel excited to show his mom the results of his journey and training. Suddenly the doorbell goes off, his mother stood up and went to the door since Jay was still eating.

Mom: "Oh my!"

He could hear his mother's voice down the hall and there wasn't much things that could surprise her other than...

Freya: "Hi Auntie! I finally arrived"

Mom: "Freya you finally came, I was worried something might have happened"

Freya: "Hehe, Well the talks with Caledon Gym was more fruitful than I thought"

Mom: "That's good then"

He was not sure what these two were talking about but when he finished his food he went over and greeted Freya before going up to shower as it was almost time for them to leave Pallet Town together with Professor Oak and Gary. When Jay came downstairs he was wearing a Red sleeveless Jacket, Red shirt, silver long pants and Red sneakers along with the silver cap to match his silver hair.

Freya: "You sure love Red and Silver, at least it looks quite nice on you"

Jay: "hehe Thanks"

Mom: "Hmmm... I did try change the color he normally wears but when I turn and look again it will always be red and silver"

Jay: "..."

Mom: "Well it's about time huh? Jay you packed your stuff"

Jay: "Already did mom"

Jay had the capsule which held the bags his mother packed for the few days they will be staying at a hotel together with the Oak's, when Freya took out her bag he opened the capsule revealing a large box which he opened and placed her bag inside it and pressed the button turning it back into a capsule.

Jay: "Since everything is ready let us be off then"

It did not take that long to reach the House of Professor Oak who was standing outside talking to Daisy while Gary had his irritated look.

Jay: [Seems Gary is just as eager as me to go huh?] "Good Morning Professor, Daisy and Gary"

Professor Oak: "Oh! Morning Jay! Anne and you should be Freya Jay mentioned"

Freya: "It's an honor to meet you at last Professor"

Daisy: "Hi Ms Silver, Jay I missed you"

Jay: "Oef!"

Jay was gripped in a tight hug with Daisy rubbing her cheek against his, Freya was giving off a frightening aura but it was only for a moment.

Anne (Mom): "Good Morning Professor Oak, Ai Daisy is still the same"

Gary: "Morning..."

Daisy: "Of course, because Jay looks so cute no matter how old he gets"

Jay: [C-cute.... This..... Sigh]

Jay could only wait for Daisy to calm down to let him down, when his feet touched the ground Jay went over to Gary who was giving him an understanding glance. Seems Gary underwent the same torture when he arrived this morning, Gary truly underwent a change and is no longer arrogant as he was before. After experiencing a battle against Koga that almost costed his life made him realize just how dangerous his chosen path is, making him more determined to become stronger.

Jay: "Good to see your fine, I did not have much time to confirm it back then"

Gary: "Well it was a tough battle, I heard you fought the three Legendary birds?"

Jay: "More like I freed them, since the one who was controlling them did not have much experience in pokemon battles it was easy.. If I had to face them without being controlled then it would definitely have been tougher"

Gary: "I see"

Few hours later Traveling

After arriving at the end of Victory Road what welcome Jay and the rest of the traveling companions were a town that was oddly familiar to Jay, he turned towards Professor Oak who nodded at him to confirm what he was seeing is correct and indeed it was. Since the visitors to Indigo Plateau was only explosive during the Tournament period the other times the visitors were all minimal so many of the businesses that only open during the Tournament period were all using Capsule Buildings to move their companies to do business and then take it with them when the Indigo League was over.

For Jay it was like he entered DBZ world for a moment but he could only think how these shrewd Business men making use of paying for a "Cart" zone and place their capsule house there to sell their products instead so the number of merchants selling from Carts were minimal this time around. Anyway Jay along with his family and the Oak's first went off to Book a room for the duration of the Indigo League, they booked rooms on the second floor with the windows facing the Stadium where the final Tournament would be held.

Around the Stadium were temporary battlefields set up with wire walls surrounding it in a rectangle form to keep observers from interfering with the matches.

Oak: "Since we are already set, it's best for you and Gary to Head off to the Pokemon Centre and register for the League, do remember there is a welcoming party for you two which you will have to attend alright?"

Jay: "Got it Professor"

Gary: "yeah"

Nurse Joy: "Welcome to Indigo Plateau, how may I help you?"

Jay: "We are here to register for the Pokemon League"

Gary: "...."

Nurse Joy: "Please wait a moment as I have to explain a few things before I start the registration, please note that during the real tournament there will be a change of rules. The Tournament has also turned into a Mixed Tournament from this year forward to accommodate and familiarize new trainers to new battle types outside Kanto"

[During the Preliminary the following Rules apply:

1) Killing leads to disqualification

2) No attacking Trainer allowed

3) Only three pokemons allowed per battle

During the Main Tournament:

1) Killing is permitted but not preferred

2) Battles between Trainers and Pokemons does not permit "killing"

3) THree Pokemons per battle but only Finals will be six Pokemons]

Jay: [Hmm...? These rules....] "Nurse Joy, I would like to ask you the rules for the main tournament did the league take in counter measures for incase of accidents?"

Nurse Joy: "Yes"

Jay: [Since they laid the rules plainly to say they are giving permission for that guy to bully me, lets bully them instead] "Please continue the Registration"

Gary: "For me as well"

Nurse Joy: [Sigh... Another two promising Trainers. I can only hope the league knows what they are doing] "Very well... And Done! You both are registered please take note that there is a welcoming Party tonight at 8pm, please be there. Also there is no dress code just come comfortably"

Jay: "Thanks" [Sorry Goodshow, not that I want to... But the reputation of the League might just take a hit since they actually got some balls targeting me like this]

When Jay and Gary come outside they ran into Ash and his two companions Brock and Misty, Gary wanted to leave but was stopped by Ash who wants to talk about facing him in the tournament. Since Ash was busy with Gary, Jay walked over to Brock who was grinning broadly.

Jay: "Just what the hell happened to make you smile like this? It's creepy"

Misty: "See? Even he says it's creepy, fix that face Brock"

Brock: "Huehuehue! I got nurse joy's number when I decided to study to become a doctor"

Jay: [Just how desperate is this guy!?] "We-Well good for you, how has your training progressed Misty?"

Misty: "Very well, I managed to evolve my Poliwhirl into a Politoed, my Goldeen became a Seaking. The other pokemons are doing quite great but psyduck..."

Jay: "That psyduck might have a bit of slow thought process but his psychic energy is seriously not a joke, as someone like me who can use psychic energy I can say his energy is on par with Alakazam's average... If he evolves he will become a real monster"

Misty: "Ehehehe, I feel relieved that you say that. It's all thanks to you"

Jay: "No, it's all thanks to your own Hard work, you guys also booked at the hotel?"

Brock: "Ah Yes we have"

Jay: "My mother, Freya and Professor Oak with his family is on the second floor so pay a visit since the welcoming Party will only be for Tournament participation this year"

Brock: "The change in the rules is way too fishy, if it was small changes I would understand but to allow killing in the main tournament will impact the people's opinion in a large scale that it may even cause a Riot"

Jay: "I have a feeling those rules are set by the higher ups of the League wanting to teach someone a lesson"

Brock: "This!.... It could be possible since even my father who took over the gym after me told me to be careful of those guys up there... To think they would go this far"

Jay: "Well don't worry about it, I will do something about it"

Brock: "you already have a plan?"

Jay: "Yeah but it's going to destroy the reputation of the League into the ground, well for a punishment it will be only a little punishment. This way they will have to proof and work their butts off to regain the trust they lost..."

Brock: "That's quite extreme..."

Jay: "Guess so, but necessary"

Night- Welcome Party

Trainers were gathered near the Gardens near the stadium of the Indigo Plateau, most of them were dressed in tuxedos and Dresses which made Jay, Gary and Ash who arrived wearing casual stick out like a sore thumb. Even the male trainers were looking at them with disdain as if they were looking at poor guys who could not even afford a cheap rental tux for the party but Jay did not bother with the looks and went to take his seat at the table.

The girls were blushing while looking at Jay who took his seat but none dared to go closer as Gary who was also quite handsome but cold took his seat at the same table as Jay, well no need to mention Ash who was too dense to realize the situation he was in and took his seat next to Jay.

Ash: "Jay I wanted to ask you how do you train your pokemon?"

Jay: "I train them by jogging every morning and Night while wearing weights, push ups with weights on depending on the type of pokemon, if its a two legged then push up with the arms if it's a four legs then it will be closer to a push up combined with a squad like lowering all four their legs and push up.

After that will be controlling the energy within their bodies, when they feel they can control it they will have to face off against a opposite element that counters it. For Example I made my Flareon heat up a lake for a bath"

Ash: "Pfft! For a bath!? You sure come out with strange methods, I honestly did not train any pokemon much as I Was not sure what to do, I thought you capture them and keep battling to let them get stronger"

Jay: "That is also a method if used properly but Ashy Boy, for someone like you it will be best you consider training yourself together with your pokemon. Feel for yourself if the training you make them do is good enough but be sure not to push them too hard"

Ash: "I see, no wonder Misty improved to the point I could no longer defeat her"

Jay: [Well she is a gym leader and knows how important it is to train pokemons] "I see"

Suddenly a speaker screech as someone on the Stage was taking the mic off the stand looking at all the trainers, Jay was not sure who this man was but he was slightly fat but not too much, black hair with gray streaks at the sides, sharp eyes with a face that make it look like he is about 30+ years old. When he made eye contact with Jay, even Jay could not miss the blatant look of disgust which made Jay realized the man in front of him was probably part of the group that wants to deal with him

Next to him was someone wearing a priest robe, black hair up to his shoulders. His facial features similar to the one Jay found on the file, it was Issei Tanaka. Jay could feel this guy has some sort of power within his body that was giving off a Holy Feeling but the face of the guy was something he would consider the opposite. Issei Tanaka was looking at the trainers in front of him as if they are all his offerings before the League would send him back to Johto to redeem himself which he will never do. He is only playing good boy till he gets the chance to make a run for it.

League Exec: "Welcome Trainers of Kanto, we the Pokemon League would like to congratulate you all for passing your trials to qualify for the Indigo League"

The trainers began clapping and when it ended the Exec continued.

League Exec: "As you all are wondering about the change in rules, we the league felt that a change is required. The world outside need strong trainers, strong and determined ones as the world is not so kind as it is here. So in order to prepare you all for what you wish to face, we brought out some rules they use outside to familiarize you with these rules before you leave Kanto"

Everyone was listening intently, but Jay was astonished. This little fox can sure act like a saint despite spouting such nonsense like their naturally air.

League Exec: "Beside me is Issei Tanaka, a trainer from the outside world we the league invited over to join this tournament to make some of you experience the power of the outside world. It is all for the sake of preparing you all"

Gary: "Grandpa was right"

Jay: "About?"

Gary: "Exec's of the League can bullshit good enough to make you believe toilet paper are pokedollars"

Jay: "Pfft hehehe"

After another round of nonsense talk that even Jay was no longer listening too, the trainers started mingling with one another. One peculiar trainer was approaching Jay.

Drake: "Hey Jay! Glad to see you came"

Jay: "Yo Drake, seems you finally prepared yourself huh?"

Drake: "Yes, it was a bit rushed but I feel if I don't participate now I will never get the chance to see my idol in action"

Jay: [Passionate as I last saw him] "Well I will try to live up to your expectations"

???: "Ora? Seems our little champ is not confident in his skills? Could it be your a braggart?"

Jay: "Oh, so your the deserter Tanaka huh?"

???: "How---"

Jay: "You who was sent by the league must know why they chose you to attack me"

Issei Tanaka: "Ah, so you learnt about me through that? Well knowing that information won't help you"

Jay: "I never counted on it to begin with, I just hope you won't be like Mewtwo who hyped me all up just to disappoint me and my pokemons into boredom"

Issei Tanaka: "Heh Don't compare me to that weakling"

Jay: "Oh that's good then"

Jay turned and look towards Drake.

Jay: "So you enjoyed training in Cinnabar Island?"

Seeing how he was ignored Issei Tanaka could not handle such disrespect but he could not make a commotion here, he could only snort at Jay thinking how he is going to torture him during the Tournament and left.

Drake: "What you mean Deserter?"

Jay: "Just what it means... He is a coward that ran away from a Pokemon Tide and came to Kanto, you should know what it means"

Drake: "But the Exec"

Jay: "Lied because if this came out the trust in the league would drop, that's why I did not shout it out. Besides I don't want him leaving soon but Drake, if you face him quit immediately don't try to be stubborn"

Drake: "Why?"

Jay: "If you can take me on then you can face him"

Drake: "Is he on that level?"

Jay: "I am not sure but just from the reports I got from him he is about my level"

Drake: "Did I join the Tournament of Monsters by mistake?"

Jay: "Who the hell are you calling a monster!?"

The party further was not much eventful, so when it was over Jay, Gary and Ash said their goodbyes and returned to the Hotel to sleep for the night. Tomorrow the Qualifier matches will start.
