Trinitas Mundus

Episode 47:

May 11th

Baron Atley had summoned the Solow Branch Manager of the Adventurer Guild after Bishop Cassella had left.

"Sorry for the sudden call. Discussions with Phototheistic are over, but the problem remains. I want to talk to you about it."

Branch Manager Solow soon realizes it's about Ray.

"You mean Ray. What do you think?"

"Mm-hmm. I'm thinking it might be better for him to get out of this city. This trouble with light theism, and crushing the strongholds of the rogues... is likely to be on the lookout for the troublesome ones. It won't be a good thing he's here."

Understanding what the Baron said, Solow decides to speak to Ray himself.

"He is the benefactor of the life of Non and his daughter. Please, do whatever you can."

When the Baron said so, he wondered if there was anything he could do for him himself.

Yuan Solow, head of the Morton branch of the Adventurers Guild, was worried about how he should tell Ray.

(It's not like he has a fallacy. I said I've become familiar here at the corner... but I have a good idea of what your Excellency has to say. You could get in trouble again if you stay here......)

That's when I hear from him that he has visitors.

Immediately, a human man in his mid-seventies and a beastly woman in his late teens were led to the branch manager's office.

The man is a small, but well-postured, gray-haired old gentleman with such fun as a town celebrity dressed in a brown vest on a deep green shirt.

The woman is a smaller beast man, with gray wolf ears peeking out of her short silver hair. She is a beautiful girl with clear white skin and through nose muscles and big eyes, but she does not see any emotions in her blue gray eyes and has a strong doll-like impression. I hang two daggers on my waist belt, but my protective gear doesn't look like I'm wearing it. A black scarf wrapped around his neck adds to the chisel.

While the old gentleman offered the branch manager his right hand,

"Mr. Yuan, no, Lord Solow Branch Manager. Long time no see."

"You can have Yuan. More importantly, you look fine. Lord Deodard."

Thoreau smiled bitterly and shook his hand back, as he changed the subject: "What about your woman?," he asks Deoddard about the beastly woman who is disproportionate.

Deoddard understood what Solow was trying to say, laughing bitterly,

"I'm not your mistress. Just an escort."

And when I say, "Stella, say hello," the woman called Stella is only small and "it's Stella," and after I say it, I immediately fall back.

I came to see Solow, a retired merchant named Loris Deodard, who Solow used to take care of.

"But that's unusual. I thought they were living a comfortable life in Aurelia, a commercial city on the coast."

"No, Rauls - the king's capital of the Kingdom of Sartooth - had business. I didn't think I was going on a journey to change my mood."

After a lot of old stories, I decided to talk to the esteemed leaders of my life about Ray.

Deodard puts his arms together and thinks, and slowly starts talking.

"I see... I agree with the Baron. Besides, when you're young, it's a good idea to look at the world."

"Is that still true...... ok. I'll tell him that."

Deoddard, after a little further thought,

"But that Ray thing sounds interesting. Will you let me see you once? If you like, you can take him to Aurelia once."

"Okay. I'll talk to you by the end of the day. To Lord Deoddard, tomorrow."

Deoddard left the branch manager's office and the branch manager immediately put out a use for Ray.

Ray and Ashley received a message from Director Solow when they returned to Silver Bell Pavilion from the Mercenary Guild.

Whatever they were talking about, they twisted their necks and headed right for the guild.

When the two arrive, Solow Branch Manager starts talking about the fact that they shouldn't be in this city alone.

Ray magically, Ashley listens to the story with an angry look.

At the end of the branch manager's story, Ashley raised her voice to bite the branch manager.

"Isn't that strange! Ray is the victim. The victim has to flee the city..."

The Branch Manager answers the words quietly.

"You're right. But what His Excellency said also makes sense. It's not for Ray to be here any more than the rogues don't know where they are. The same goes for Phototheism. It's not a bad story to wait until it's almost cold enough to know who the next chief cleric is."

Ashley, unconvinced, said, "But then…" When he tried to solicit more, Ray seized Ashley and started talking.

"Okay. Surely it's not a good thing to take a request, mindful of the darkness. If you get a request for an escort, it's going to annoy your client, and even if you get a crusade request and go into the woods, you have to worry more than usual."

The branch manager gives Ray a horrible look at his words.

"Your Excellency will feel lighter if you say so. I've been very concerned."

It was still an unsatisfactory look Ashley, but when I saw Ray's expression, I got the spear. And I was confirming to him about the future.

"But Ray. What are you gonna do now?

"Let's take it slow tonight. I haven't guessed at all so far."

Ray grins after a shoulder-flattering trick.

"I mean, just, someone I know, someone I could say a benefactor, came to this city. He says he can hire you as escorts. Why don't we meet again tomorrow?

The two nodded at the Branch Manager's words, and after receiving the Green Snake Dragon's Demon Crystal Stone bill of 300C, they left the Branch Manager's office behind.

The remaining branch managers are:

(He's a really nice young man. Too bad... I hope you'll be back soon)

The next day, May 12.

The two met with Loris Deoddard, a former merchant who wanted to hire them.

Ray's first impression of Deoddard was that

(I heard you were a big merchant, but you seem like a casual person. There's an atmosphere called a celebrity in some city, and I don't feel like I was bursting as a merchant)

And as for the beast man behind Deodard, the slightly small girl with silver hair to wolf ears - gray close to silver and only bright white ears with tips - and a gray thick tail close to the same silver as her ear,

(Is the Beastman girl in the back really an escort? You don't look very strong)

Her gear hangs two daggers "short swords" of about fifty cm on her hips, and she also has a few throwing knives on her belt. You don't seem to be wearing protective gear, but from time to time you hear a slight noise of the chains rubbing jarries from under your clothes.

Deoddard is a merchant from the commercial city of Aurelia, who, after conceding the Chamber of Commerce to his three sons, sometimes travels. This time he says he's on his way home to Rauls, King's Capital of Sartooth.

"I was in a hurry to get there, so I used the sea route, but I made it land to relax on my way home."

Ray was impressed that there were people in this world who enjoyed their journey.

"By the way, Ray, you, Ashley. Do you guys have something to do now?

I don't know the intent of the question, and the two look at each other. And on behalf of Ray,

"Nothing in particular?

"Well... then why don't you go to Aurelia for the journey of Non? Fountain capital Fonce, the city of adventurers Periclitle, the hoarding doctus of scholars, and the city of merchants, the city of freedom Aurella. Don't you think it's a heartwarming itinerary? Yeah?"

Deoddard tells the story of those cities as he shines his eyes like a child.

Ray was more drawn to the story than he was, even Ashley, a travelling mercenary.

(I was going to go to Periclitle one of these days, and Doctus... sounds like fun with Mr. Deoddard... maybe it would be interesting to call it a journey you don't need to rush)

Ray asked Ashley, "What do we do? When I take the confirmation," she is also curious to get on board "Isn't it good?"

"Okay. I'm happy to take it."

Deoddard's face was dusted by his words, and the departure was set for May 15, four days later.

By the end of the day, a request for nomination was to be made to the mercenary guild, and the two told him that they would commission the request tomorrow, so that he could begin preparing for the journey.

The two begin to talk about what is to come.

"When I say prepare for the journey, I have little luggage, and what should I prepare for?

"Especially just like the usual escorts. But for the time being, you can't come back to this city, so you need to say hello to the people you took care of."

"Right. Mr. Estelle, Mr. Burt, Mr. Shabby, Baron, Cutler Branch Manager and Solow Branch Manager. You have quite a few. I was only here for a little over a month."

I leave that day for Lester and Bianca at Silver Bell Pavilion in four days and tell them I won't be back for the time being.

Bianca looked a little lonely as she held her daughter Annie.

"Yes... well, say goodbye for a little while. I'm going to be pretty used to this business, but I kinda miss Ashley because she thought she was like her sister... but she'll be back again sometime. Now you've got kids. Hehe."

He was talking to his daughter, ignoring Ashley, who could not understand and lean her neck, and Ray, who understood what it meant and turned bright red.

"Annie wants a friend, too."

"Yeah!"

Did Ashley finally understand that the fire was going to blow so bright and red that

"Bianca, Bianca! Don't tease me! Oh, no... me and Ray..."

"Oh, aren't you guys going to be together? Kids don't know when they'll be able to do it. Make it properly planned. Hehe... I really enjoy making fun of Ashley"

Ray says he's a serpent when he talks about something here, he talks. And for the first time, I realized that I could be a father.

(Are you a child... right? I'm not using birth control, so it's not weird to be able to... me being the father? I can't, I can't...)

Ashley was also confused by Bianca's words.

(You're absolutely right... but I can't imagine at all, such as me being my mother. I didn't even think about becoming a "wife” in the first place... but it might rain blood if I met the captain (Father) in Fonce... I need to think about something...)

The two broke up with Lester and Bianca and Annie and headed to Estelle's clinic.

The two of them are going to talk Estelle out of town.

"Yes, that's a shame. I thought I had a disciple around the corner... but you guys better go around a lot and see a lot of things than you do in this city. I don't know how long I'll be in this city either, but I'll see you somewhere. Surprisingly, the world is a narrow thing. Besides, I guess you haven't thought about anything from Aurelia yet. Maybe we can get through here."

After the two of them left the clinic,

(I guess it's been a while since I've been on a journey too... well, that could be interesting too...)

Afterwards, Bart, I'm also going to say hello to Shabby.

Bart told me to come visit him once in a while and slapped him on the shoulder as much as I wanted.

From Shabby, after being called out to be healthy and do it, just so Ray can hear you.

"Be careful in Fonce. Don't let Ashley's father kill you."

added with a serious look. But soon Shabby burst into laughter and Ashley looked surprised that she hadn't heard the story.

(Told you before, are you really a scared father? I'm talking about the strongest person in Lux, but you're kidding me... I'm just getting blue because I think I'm going through some fonce...)

And he also went to say goodbye to Baron Bruno Atley.

from Edward the Deacon at the front door,

"I heard you say goodbye, but I'm sorry. Dear Miyagi, I am not satisfied with the thank you for helping your daughter..."

I already knew the story of the Rays leaving the city where they had bought it.

I thought Ray was still an amazing man, but he was polite and said he was looking forward to seeing him again, and was led to the Baron's office.

Baron Bruno Atley and his daughter Oriana were waiting for him in the Baron's office.

After an exchange of greetings,

"I'm sorry about this one. Thanks to you, I exposed the dark parts of Morton under the daylight. I didn't know you had to leave the city even though you saved your life and cleaned up the city. Too bad."

Oriana heard Ray leaving the city after a long time and seemed to be crying.

She had red eyes,

"When will you come back? You'll be back, won't you?

Speaking with a dazzling look, Ray

"Honestly, I don't know when I'll be able to come back. It could be decades away..."

Oriana spills tears at the words.

The Baron wishes he'd forgotten this, but he doesn't put it on his face.

Ray is also silent because he doesn't know how to speak to the crying girl.

Awkward air flows into the office.

The Baron has suddenly changed the subject in order to change the air.

"If you have any trouble with Fonce, go see Lord Seaver Gladstone, Deputy Commander of the Knights of the Springs. With this letter of reference, it shouldn't be bad."

Ray thanked the Baron for his convenience and received his letter of introduction.

(The Knights of the Springs was certainly Lax's strongest army protecting Fonce. For me on purpose...... I won't even use it this time because I'm just going to pass, but the Baron is a lover after all)

As I was rushing to get ready to leave, the time passed quickly.

The morning of May 15th.

Ray said goodbye to the inn where he spent a month and a half as Lester, Bianca, dropped him off.

I feel a little sentimental, and tears are going to spill. But he had more hope for the journey ahead.

(I'm finally getting used to this world too. But there's still a lot I don't know. I want to see more of this world to know a lot about it. And maybe why I came here...)

He says to Ashley standing next to him, "Let's go!" He spoke forcefully and ran down the hill.
