Trouble With The President

At some cafe :-

Wendy sat in front of Tina and kept silent for a while.

Tina was also tense due to Wendy's sudden appearance and after hearing Paiming's family name from Wendy, she had lots of question and wanted to know about the identity of this mysterious girl.

"Wendy, you mean Paiming?" Tina broke the silence and shot her first question towards Wendy.

Wendy lowered her head and replied in a low tone, "Yes.."

"So, what do you want to tell me?"

Tina didn't beat around the bush and asked in straightforward manner about the matter.

"..." Wendy kept silent for the moment.

Like she was acc.u.mulating her strength to say something. The atmosphere around them were silent and also tense.

"I know I am very irrational about this, but I have to..." Wendy's suddenly reply made Tina confused.

She didn't understand about what just Wendy said.

As she was trying to figure out about Wendy's reply, she stood up from her chair and bowed to Tina, "I'm very sorry! But would you please give me Siao?"

"What?" Tina got stunned about her question. She was asking to give her Paiming? She asked this like She wants to own a thing and not a person.

Tina was a little pissed about her question. Wendy was a strange girl. First she stalked Tina and now she is asking her to give Paiming??

But in this whole situation, she noticed that Wendy's feelings were not fake. She meant about what she just said. So, Tina decided to calm herself and hear Wendy out first.

"I know he like you very much but I also like him so much..." With a loud voice and teary eyes, she poured which was in her heart for a long time.

"I lost a very important person, and I can't live without him...."

Tina frowned and kept silent for a moment.

Then she said in a calm tone, "Wendy, please sit down."

It was embarrassing to say such things out loud in the public but Wendy didn't realise it until Tina told her to sit down.

"Sorry...I'm just emotional." With a pair of gloomy eyes, she sat down.

She focused her eyes on the coffee which was kept in front of her and put some sugar cubes in it then began to tell her story....

"Siao, has been working in my father's company."

"He is a capable person and my dad also likes him so much and also treat him as a trustworthy person.... and so do I. I go to see him in the company everyday." Her eyes were shining and cheeks were bright red when she mentioned about this.

"He is always busy but he is patient and always put a smile. Whenever I tried to take him outside of the company for some fun, he always says that he has work to do and reject me."

While talking, she suddenly frowned her brows and took a deep sigh, "Later, I expressed my love to him but he said..."

Wendy stopped for a moment, her voice trembled to say anything further but she still continued, "He said.. he had a girl he likes. He said the girl is very kind, cute and simple."

Wendy's eyes became more gloomy, "And he saw me as his little sister..."

"Miss Tung, you may wonder why I know your name. When Siao was working late the other night. He called someone, but he couldn't get through."

"He said your name...I wrote it down and then I followed him. So I know where you work."

"I'm sorry for being such a bad girl." At last she finished her story and lowered her head sincerely to apologise.

Tina's eyes were full of pity and she tried to remember the day when she didn't answered Paiming's call.

'Was it day? He called me many times but my phone was dead...'

When Tina was emerged in her thoughts for the moment, a stream of tears started flowing from Wendy's eyes, "My dad died a few months ago...."

Tina immediately came out from her thoughts and was shocked on hearing this sudden twist.

"When daddy died, he trusted this company to Siao. And Siao promised him that he would take care of me..."

Tina could understand the pain of being an orphan, the lonliness, the lack of support and love are the sufferings which an orphan person has to endure and she herself is aware of these things.

"I know I'm being selfish but..." Wendy suddenly hold Tina's hand with both of her hands and pleaded while crying, "I'm beginning you to let me have Siao...."

"I can't live without him!"

"He is my only support!"
