Trouble With The President

Chapter 81 - Heart touching confession

"Jim"

Jim Chin looked backward to where the voice came and his eyes met with Tina's as he was a little surprised to see her here suddenly.

Although it's normal for Tina to visit the orphanage because it is the place where she grew up but he didn't expect her to visit him today, maybe it was just a coincidence or maybe it's destiny? Who knows?

Tina walked towards him as she asked, "Why are you here?"

At the moment, before Tina arrived, Jim was sitting on the ground with children and was telling them stories, the children said in excitement on seeing their favourite big sister, "Big sis Tina!"

"Bug sis is back!"

On Tina's question Jim replied with a playful smile, "You can guess."

Tina frowned her brows as he didn't answered her question directly and was trying to act innocent, "You...."

A kid pulled Jim's sleeve and asked in confusion, "Does uncle Chin know sis Tina?"

Jim frowned his brows and had an awkward smile, as he thought in his mind, 'She is your sister, and I am your uncle?'

'Why do you call me uncle?'

Jim tried to correct his sentence with a serious face, "You should call me brother!"

The kids strated to argue with him,

"Why?"

"But you are so old!"

"Aren't you ashamed to call yourself brother?"

Jim shut his mouth and a drop of sweat rolled from his forehead, as he didn't had words to say anything else, 'It's impossible to teach these kids.'

On Jim's helpless effort, Tina suddenly laughed a bit but before he could see her laughing, she immediately turned her head aside and pretend like nothing happened.

Jim understood and just smiled at her.

A little while later.......

Jim and Tina had a walk together and stopped near a railing. .

She leaned over to the balcony and took a deep breath, feeling the fresh air and the smell of different kinds of flowers in the valley.

"Why are you here again? You still wanna buy the land of the orphanage?" She asked with her same old attitude.

But this time Jim scolded her really hard on this, "Idiot!" He clenched his fists in anger, "Am I just that bad in your eyes?"

Tina was a little scared with his sudden anger as she replied in a weak tone, "But you've done this before...."

At her words, he realised that he tried to forcefully buy this Orphanage in the past so it was natural for her to say those words, he felt guilty and frowned his brows upward as his anger turned into guilt and he took a deep sigh, "Yes, I used to do that."

Seeing Tina's scared face, his guilt grew even more, as his voice crumbled, "But now, I don't want to do that...."

He turned his head towards the mighty sun and his voice regained its power, "I'm here to look for something..!"

"Look for something?" Tina who was silent for the moment asked in confusion.

"I grew up in a very traditional family, my grandfather is strict, and in order to train me to become the successor of Chin Group, he was more strict with me." On remembering his old days, a sense of remorse appeared on Jim's face, as he continued, "I had a very harsh childhood."

It was the first time that she saw such an expression on his face, he always acted arrogant and mighty but today, she felt like he was hiding his true feelings deep inside his heart.

As he continued, "So, when I came back, I began to indulge myself, I thought it was the joy I wanted."

"Until I met you!" A smile appeared on his face when he mentioned her.

She asked in confusion, "Me?"

"You're the simplest girl I've ever seen, you're kind, strong and tender but sometimes you're stubborn.." the more he talked about her, the more his smile grew bigger.

"You lit up my heart like a ray of light!"

Tina's eyes grew bigger as she heard this sentence, her heart felt comfortable on his every word, she could feel that his feelings and whatever he is saying is coming directly from his heart.

"Tina, you are so good!" He faced her and said it while directly looking in her eyes, "I'm willing to guard you all my life!"

Tears appeared in her eyes and her cheeks grew red, "Jim.."

"But I don't know how to express my love.... Even I hurt you again and again"

His eyes became gloomy as he remembered those terrible things which he did to her in the past.

"You closed your heart and refused to accept me but I knew you didn't hate me as much as you seemed to."

His gaze fell at the direction of the orphanage and a sense of hope appeared in his eyes, "I came to this place where you grew up, in order to find the key to your heart."

He faced her again and asked with the same smile, "Do you think I can find it?"

"You've found it, haven't you?" Tina who was already at verge of breaking into tears with his heart touching words embraced him without a second thought.

He was caught off-guard on her sudden action, "Tina!"
