Two Alphas’ 101st Blind Date
Chapter 22
22. you’ve gone mad
Lu Meng was startled awake from a dream, the person from his dream was currently clutching at his collar, “A… A-Ze?”
“Go to the training grounds.”
There was still some semblance of desolation in Lu Meng’s eyes, “Don’t wanna.”
Without giving him an opportunity to consider, Li Ze directly dragged him onto the training grounds. Everyone else who had been training there saluted them one by one when they saw their two commanders, then backed away to give them space.
Lu Meng watched Li Ze’s fist come crashing down, in an instant, he rolled over and jumped up immediately, “What the fuck, you’ve gone mad…”
It was as if Li Ze didn’t care about his life anymore, and towards the end, he had practically delivered himself to Lu Meng to be beaten up.
Anyone with a working eyesight had cleared out of their path long ago, couldn’t they see? Major General Li was obviously in a bad mood.
Lu Meng held Li Ze in a chokehold, and noticed that there was still moisture all over his skin, “You came looking for a fight right after a shower?”
“Li Ze, what’s up with you?” Afraid that he would start acting up again, Lu Meng pinned him down with his body.
Li Ze shot him a glance, then withdrew his gaze and fixed it on the ceiling, mumbling: “My refractory period.”
Lu Meng gave him a blank stare, then smashed a fist against the ground, “Don’t give me that crap, what were you going crazy over?”
“Let me tell you a story?”
Grumbling, Lu Meng rolled off his body. He feared he wouldn’t be able to control himself, the scent from Li Ze’s body was too intoxicating. He mirrored Li Ze’s position, laying down on the floor, “Mn.”
“Once upon a time, there were two little boys. They grew up together, studied together, trained together, and once narrowly escaped from danger together. They trust each other most in the entire world… Guess what happened in the end?”

Lu Meng’s lips carried a hint of amusement, and with a relaxed tone, couldn’t help teasing, “They lived happily ever after together.”
Li Ze paused, the pain spreading from the hollow in his chest. Even his voice carried some bitterness, “But they’re both Alphas, Lu Meng… One of the Alphas have gone mad.”
Lu Meng turned over and propped himself up, he could better see Li Ze’s expression this way. He didn’t quite understand this story, but he also had one that he wanted to tell.
“I know of a story too. Once upon a time, there were two little boys. They grew up together, studied together, trained together, and once narrowly escaped from danger together. They trust each other most in the entire world… Guess what happened at the very beginning?”
“Before they both even knew they were Alphas, their families engaged them to each other. Say, do you think this engagement is still effective now that they’ve grown up?”
Li Ze frowned, did Lu Meng know what he was talking about? But Lu Meng’s clear amber pupils drew him in, carrying no hint of a joke or any dread. It was as if the other was truly just telling an innocent story.
“I think…” Li Ze’s voice was very hoarse.
In the next second, sirens exploded throughout the entire military base.
T/N: oh my GOD, emergencies are so ill-timed (I thought about this and I know emergencies aren’t planned but this is just how I Felt when I read this the first time.)
