Today was the day of the auction. These past 3 days Luo An finished all the paperworks for the company and the patent for the pill. Now he was looking for a workshop to produce the pill. Everything was going smoothly since Yang Lan gave him an starter of 1 billion yuan. And they didn't fear any leakage from the workers since the vital piece of the formula could only be made by Du Hong.

Yang Lan fired Du Hong from his position of kitchen assistant and was now helping Luo An.

When Luo An went to register the patent for the pill, the workers made a ruckus since they didn't believe a single pill could heal wounds. But when they showed a demonstration, they were shocked at how efficient it was. All this didn't go unnoticed, the government was now keeping an eye on them. They investigated the Four Emperors company but couldn't find who was the boss in shadows. This was thanks to Zero that helped to conceal their identities.

At Morning Hotel,

The hotel was bustling with people. All kinds of luxury cars were stopping at front door. One specific car caught their attention. It was the super rare Vision Mercedes-Maybach. They knew there was a unit of this car in the city but didn't know who was the owner.

The car stopped and three man got out. The majority present recognized the driver. He was Tong Hu the boss of the underworld in ZhenShan after Boss Wei was imprisoned. This peaked their curiosity, who could make the underworld boss be their driver. The other two of course were Yang Lan and Shao Jin. They both went inside with Tong Hu following them closely behind.

After them a Rolls-Royce arrived. The passengers were Song Lan and his father. She was wearing a red qipao and her hair was tied in a bun. Everyone who saw her would think she's a goddess. When she came out she saw Yang Lan and the rest.

Her father seeing her looking at Yang Lan he asked, "Do you know them Lanlan?"

Song Lan just nodded and walked. At that moment a voice sounded behind her, "Lanlan, Uncle Song good afternoon." He was Jiang Jun.

"Jiang Jun you're here. What about your father?" Song Lei asked.

"My father wasn't feeling well so he sent me by myself."

"Let's get moving there's still people coming."

The auction was taking place at the dining room. Tong Hu brought them to their table which was at the very front where all important figures would sit. Next to them sat Song Lan and company. Song Lan wanted to speak with him but was being 'restrained' by her father and Yang Lan didn't noticed her so he didn't greet her.

Some people went to Yang Lan's table to try to know him but were stopped by Tong Hu all the time. In their hearts they thought Yang Lan and Shao Jin were someone very powerful.

The auction finally started. The first auctioned was a land of 100 hectares. This was the smallest of the 5 being auctioned.

Yang Lan wasn't interested in these lands other than the island so he just ate the food that was on the table.

After an hour, the island was finally out.

"The best of the night is here ladies and gentlemen. This island is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. During the WWII it was used by the Americans as a military base. Then it was passed to China's military. And now it's being auctioned here." said the auctioner while pointing at some aerial photos.

The island was enormous. It had a functional harbour and an airport. The size of the island was enough to accomodate 1 million people and still have enough space.

"The starting bid is at 1 billion with an increase of at least 500 million. Start the bidding."

"2 billion" bid someone.

"4 billion"

"8 billion" the one who bid was Song Lei.

The price was slowly increasing. Only two people we're bidding, Song Lei and a foreign man.

At 17 billion the foreign man decided to back off.

"Mr. Song bid 17 billion everyone. No one else? 17 billion going once... twice..." When he was about to shout 'sold' Yang Lan finally made his move, "20 billion"

Everyone in the dining room gaped at Yang Lan. They couldn't believe someone else was going to compete with Song Lei who was the most powerful businessman in the entire Southern Region. Now they finally understood why someone like Tong Hu would become his driver.

At the same time Song Lan and Jiang Jun looked at Yang Lan with shock.

"Lanlan you said you knew him right?" Song Lei asked his daughter.

"Yes father, his Yang Lan who I told you before. He's also the one who saved me from the kidnappers." she answered

"22 billion!" Song Lei bid again. This was his limit. He couldn't spend more than that. If Yang Lan he could only retire.

"23 billion" Yang Lan bid. He knew from Zero that Song Lei's limit was 22 billion so he was calm all the time.

The auctioner started the countdown and finally sealed the deal. "Congratulations to the gentleman sitting at table 3. Would you honor us with your name sir?"

Since the auction was now finished Yang Lan went over somewhere to sign off the deal. Behind him followed Shao Jin and Tong Hu.
