Uchiha's Butterfly

"Kana-chan, remember if you need anything just contact me, don't forget to feed and take care of your hare," said Mikoto to a girl playing with her new pet, "Kana-chan! Kaname! Are you listening to me?"

"Hehehe, Mr. Fluffy you are so warm." Kaname said hugging her hare. Her head was hit with a loud *Bonk*.

"Now that I have your attention I want to say a couple of things. First, you need to take care of your pet, I see he likes you so you can let him free near your house. Secondly, I know you don't want to train today, but after my talk with Hokage-sama, I think you should try to enhance your chakra control for tomorrow's lessons. Thirdly, promise me not to plan any revenge against Hokage-sama."

"But he and the council made me to kil-" started Kaname, but was stopped with another *Bonk*.

"After the news of what councilman Shimura planned, Hokage-sama tried but couldn't stop the curriculum that Konoha Council voted on, instead he ordered a platoon of Anbu to change the outcome. That's why Mr. Fluffy is still alive." Mikoto interrupted her, "If you want some help with revenge against Konoha Council I'm all up for it but you need to wait. Hokage-sama let your pranks slide, the Council would call it an act of treason and order your immediate execution. Come now, I prepared something for dinner."

Two hours later Kaname let Mr. Fluffy run about her home and she sat cross-legged upon the edge of her pond with a handfull of leaves ready to be placed upon her forehead. After minutes of failing to concentrate and reminiscing the feeling of slashing the flesh of Mr. Fluffy, seeing his body trembling with agonizing pain she almost gave up for today's training. At this moment she felt her l.a.p getting heavier, after opening her eyes she saw the brown hare comfortably sitting there. 'Guu, you're heavy.' Kaname thought with a smile on her face. She once again closed her eyes and started concentrating, this time she was successful.

The next morning Kaname woke up with a hare kick to her nose. "Ouch, that hurt!" she said, Mr. Fluffy was dreaming in her bed, 'So animals have dreams as well.'. As it was only 10 minutes before her normal time to get out of bed, she got up, wore her training uniform and made l.a.p.s around her home training her stamina.

In the academy, she met her classmates glaring at the teacher. "Kana-chan is everything okay? You look happy." asked her Inuzuka friend. "Do you know how they replaced our pets yesterday?"

"Yes, Konoha Council tried to outplay Hokage-sama, but they got outplayed instead." Kaname informed her friends.

"Okay kids, I'm sorry for yesterday but it wasn't my decision. Now let's go to the courtyard, we will see how good you are at tree climbing." said Ichiro-sensei.

"Ichiro-sensei but most of us can easily climb a tree." bored Anko said.

Their teacher just left the classroom expecting them to follow him. After they reached the courtyard he instantly jumped on a tree branch and stood upside down on it, "And can you do that Anko-chan? You need to use your chakra to stick yourself to the tree surface. Everyone find your tree and try it now."

Almost the entire class of twenty kids bolted on their trees trying to get as high as possible with speed, only three kids stopped to think, two black-haired girls and pineapple hair-shaped boy.

"What do you think Misa-chan, it is a chakra control training right?" Kaname asked her Hyuga friend.

"Yes, you need to concentrate chakra on the soles of your feet. Speed will come with training, too much chakra and we will be repelled and too less and we will not stick. At least that's what I saw Umino-sensei do with Byakugan." Misa whispered back.

They both went to two close by trees and slowly step by step climbed higher.

After 4 hours of training, their teacher called the class back for their daily sparring. And as always Kaname was second best, it was hard to defeat a Hyuga with her Byakugan and their Gentle Fist.

So went Kaname's two years at the academy.
