"So how are you Kana-chan, you only reported what happened out there" the hunting team was jumping from one tree to the other.

"*Sigh* I don't feel like talking about that, Doofus-kun" Kaname shot back.

"Oh, come on Kana-chan. One crazy kunoichi once helped me after my failure, I thought of returning the favor. I'm pretty sure you have a plan on how to deal with this exact opponent"

"... He isn't a dangerous adversary, his only strength is backstabbing people unwise enough to be unwary from where he is coming."

"So? What are you going to do?" Kakashi continued his questions.

"Me? I need to be faster next time Doofus-kun. I will not live my life in fear of another surprise attack, it won't matter if he ambushes me again if he won't be able to catch up with my speed, I have got a long-term training planned ahead of me"

Kakashi's eye rose mockingly, "You mean you want to get even faster? Who would have guessed that you will just devote yourself to even more training…"

"That's just so like Nee-san" Itachi commented on the side.

"Okay, now *Shush*!" Jiraya ordered stopping the team in their tracks, "One of my toads reported about a patrol of three people in masks up ahead most likely Root"

"I will take care of them. Be right back" Itachi flickered away.

"A good boy, he is very helpful" Sannin watched the boy disappear from their sight.

"Yeah, one of the best I had the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to teach, Jiraya-san" Kaname nodded with a smile on her face.

"You still think he will be willing to help with the matter, Kana-chan?" Jiraya put his hand on his chin in thought.

"I will leave it for you to decide, I'm not going to let him do the work he is not ready for"

Itachi came back in two minutes, dragging two beaten-up bodies, dumping them in front of the group.

"Good job lad, and the third one?" Jiraya asked the teen.

In response, Itachi turned his head sideways, "After he noticed I caught him in genjutsu he committed suicide. I disposed of the body"

"Hey, Doofus-kun. Did you ever use the Sharingan to interrogate someone?" Kaname called out to Kakashi calmly sitting on a fallen tree.

"Hmm? Is it different than a normal interrogation? And no, I use it mostly for combat, the chakra requirements of its use is massive already."

"*Sigh* Did you know Sharingan can detect lies? Whatever, as one of the few people with Uchiha Clan's dōjutsu, when we return you I will try to find some time for training. You can expect I will hammer the necessary knowledge of it into you. As bad as it was, Rin-chan's death likely gave you a Mangekyō, that you did not have even idea about. Making you one of four of its current users in Konoha" Kaname stood up and walked towards two men hidden behind the mask.

A moment later she finished the interrogation by slitting their throats, "My seal worked perfectly, below us is C.o.c.kroach's hidden base. They were prepared for the questioning, they tried to pass over my questions replying with general statements. The base has two main entrances and a hidden backdoor tunnel, a main big chamber is located in the middle, and many smaller rooms, consisting of sleeping quarters, dining, etc. It's practically an underground city"

"So much hidden away just two hours away from Konoha? *Sigh* Do you know where the entrances are Kana-chan?" Kakashi asked.

"Nope, I just thought of not being subtle about that and excavate the anthill from above their heads" Kaname shrugged her arms.

Jiraya's face expressed amazement, "And how will you manage to erase tons of rocks and earth-"

"A Bijūdama sent on top of C.o.c.kroach's head should be enough" Kaname interrupted him. (Bijūdama - Tailed Beast Bomb)

"A Bijū-dama?" Sannin's eyes resembled two saucers, "How did you know that name Kana-chan?! Minato-kun tried to recreate the technique, but he never managed to push it any further than the Rasengan!"

"Ah, no. I can't recreate it per se, Jiraya-san. You know that I can store the projectiles and release them later?" Kaname tried to explain.

"Yes, I heard about it generally from Sensei. But a Bijūdama? How?"

"Ah, it's really easy Jiraya-san. Before my eyesight worsened, I had some 'conversations' with Kyubi-chan. He... doesn't like me too much. He can't power up his shots fully inside his cage, so I have some underpowered Nine-Tails attacks stored for backup" She replied with a smile.

"*Sigh* I shouldn't have asked. Now you're even scarier, if I piss you off too much, you will just Bijūdama my arse of." Jiraya was massaging his forehead, "And no Kana-chan, we will do it the ninja way." Putting his palms through five hand-seals, and pressing his hands on the ground, Sannin called out the jutsu's name "<Doton: Chikyūnami no Jutsu>" (Earth style: Earth waves Technique - does not exist in the canon).

"Hmm, and what was that jutsu Jiraya-san? the silver-haired jōnin inquired.

"My invention, it sends a pulse of chakra through the ground letting me create a map in my head of a nice sized piece of land."

"Hmm, useful. You will show it to me someday Jiraya-san. So what did you find? I'm tagging one of the entrances." Kaname replied with a grin on her face.

"I will take care of the backdoor tunnel. After sealing the exit I will help Kakashi and Itachi-kun at the West entrance. Have you got a plan Kana-chan?"

"Heh, who do you think the c.o.c.kroach hates most of all of us?" Kaname snorted with a laugh.

Kaname stood alone in front of the sealed shut metal grate doors, 'Now to make some noise, Susanoo' A ribcage of red flaming aura converged around Kaname, using some of her chakra, she conjured a boney hand with a massive sword. A single slash on the human-sized gates left a deep crevice in the ground and sent the doors flying into the long tunnel with accompanying multiple loud *clangs* as the metal crashed into the walls.

"Anyone home?! I would like to present to you a new type of caskets, it's all the rage now!" Kaname called out loudly to the empty dark corridor.

'Hmm, nothing? Ah, right they're reacting only to this one...' With a simple thought, Kaname shouted again, "I suppose your worm of a leader would like a matchbox, it's fitting for him!" at this moment her Susanoo repelled a couple of kunais thrown her way.

'So easy to rile them up...' Pulling her sword out, Kaname jumped into the damp corridor painting the walls red with her enemy's blood.

(PoV Change)

"Come on, Crow-kun. I hear that Kana-chan started having her fun"

"Yes, Captain. I know, give me a couple more seconds." Itachi's eyes were blazingly red in their Mangekyō form. The lock on the doors was quickly melting in black flames.

"Hmm, sure thing Kouhai. With how loud she is, she most likely pulled the entire base on her head, we should have an easy in." Kakashi replied.

"Guh, it's done. Damnit, I will have a headache after this" Itachi wiped off the blood tears dripping from his right eye after extinguishing the flames.

"Sorry, I'm late!" Jiraya called out flickering in front of them.

"No problem Jiraya-san, we just secured the silent way inside" Itachi greeted him with a nod.

"Hmm, selfless as well" Jiraya murmured.

"Did you say something Jiraya-san?" Itachi asked standing at Sannin's back.

"Nah, it doesn't matter. We will have to talk after this ordeal. Now, I don't want to be above ground if Kana-chan's plan works out, let's go in" he ordered.

After Kakashi swiftly dealt with the patrol standing guard at the other side of the doors, the trio had an easy trek to the main chamber, with two other obstacles on the way. Sneaking into the biggest chamber, they noticed Kaname standing in the middle of it. The room was full of enemy shinobi, trying to do anything against the young woman. Her body was encompassed in a white spectral-like massive aura with a tengu mask, four hands were holding massive blades killing tens of Root in each swing.

[AN: Same thing that Madara did - much later in the original story :-) ]

Jiraya whistled looking at her, "Wow, aren't these some of the legendary Totsuka Blades? I never thought I would see them in my life."

[AN: Itachi's Susanoo has one of them (Sakegari Longsword)]

"Never heard of them" Kakashi admitted.

"No wonder, they're relics. No one knows how they were created, but they should be at least as old as the Rikkudo Sennin himself. I hit upon the description on those blades as I was looking up the information about Rinnegan. I never expected that such artifacts were being hidden away in Uchiha clan's dōjutsu." Jiraya explained whispering back to him.

"Look, Danzo showed up." Itachi pointed his finger towards the far-side of the room.

"So you sealed his exit properly Jiraya-san. Okay, brace yourselves! Let's see if he will use the Kotoamatsukami on her." Kakashi hugged himself to the ground, he was closely followed by the two. They were looking at Danzo's next move.

Without an apparent reason, Kaname's Susanoo stopped swinging its arms, Danzo's gruff voice sounded in the chamber, "You were supposed to be dead. No matter, I will use your stupidity to reclaim what should be rightfully mine. It's time for me to finish what I started so many years before. Root prepare for departure!" He was looking straight at Kaname, his newest trump card, only for her to disappear in a *puff* of smoke.

"He did it! He really did it! HAHAHAHA!"

"Damnit! Jiraya-san, not now! Your roaring laughter just pulled their attention on us!" Kakashi tried to silence him up.

But Jiraya's laugh was soon drowned out by a massive explosion that erased the stone above everyone's heads. When the dust settled down, everyone looked up dazzled at the clear blue sky and a mountain-sized red butterfly slowly gliding down towards them.

(PoV back to Kaname)

"Kaname-chan, do you want me to release an acidic breath down the hole you created? It would swiftly finish the job"

"Thanks, Psyche-san. But no, there are my friends down there as well. Your attack would be too destructive for them to dodge it"

Psyche landed on the border of the crater "*Sigh* And you call me destructive... Do you need my help or should I-"

"You know what to do, I will finish it in a moment and we will return to Konoha" she replied jumping off the head of her summon.

"You again..." Danzo measured her with his eye.

"Knock-knock c.o.c.kroach. You know, I hate those dark damp holes, they are comfy only for bugs and rats, so I made a little rearrangement of your base..." Kaname greeted him landing her feet at the same spot her clone disappeared from, "Ah! Right!" she pointed her hand at Danzo, "Sorry".

"*Growl* Root! Get her!" he loudly ordered, "... What?" only for his forces to stand the ground.

"Nope. Hey, c.o.c.kroach, in our world, you shouldn't brag about your abilities to enemies, you know? Someday, or in your instance right now, it will bite you in the arse. You can drop the mummy costume, we all know what's behind it. You would feel bad if you did not use your Sharingan against me."

"What have you done to my troops?!" Danzo shouted at her uncovering Shisui's eye.

"Me? Nothing, look up." Kaname pointed her finger upwards towards billions of colorful pollen particles dropping from Psyche flying high above the ground. "You have two options c.o.c.kroach. An easy painless way, you will tell me everything you know about Orochimaru, Akatsuki, and others that attacked Konoha three days ago, maybe then I will give you a fast painless death. Or, the fun way, and after swatting you up, you will tell me everything you know. Tik-Tok."

Setting his fists in multiple hand-seals he shot a jutsu at Kaname, "<Futon: Shinkūha>!" (Wind Release: Vacuum Wave), Danzo exhaled a spinning blade of wind.

Kaname intercepted his attack by creating a dimensional door with her unique technique. Casually stretching her arms, "So, is that your choice c.o.c.kroach?" she asked.

"I will not be spoken to like that by a youngling- Eh?" Danzo's torso started sliding down from the rest of his body.

"For my clan!" Itachi stood behind him with a bloody red tanto blade.

"*Sigh* You three were supposed to deal with the Root agents trapped in genjutsu" Kaname commented.

"Jiraya-san told me you may need help Nee-san"

"Yeah, thanks. But-" Kaname flickered to Itachi and delivered a Rasengan to resurrected Danzo's face, "as you can see, I have everything under control" she finished.

"Eh? How?" Itachi asked seeing Danzo show up five steps away from them.

"I can guess it's Izanagi, only you would have so little esteem to brake the tradition of not using a forbidden technique. Am I right c.o.c.kroach?" Kaname grinned at the old man.

"*Growl* You Uchihas are all too bloodthirsty to let you scheme, sooner or later you will destroy Konoha, I'm going to stop you!" he shouted at the duo, charging at them.

Releasing wind blades she caught seconds ago, she beheaded the fool, "It's funny you say you want to protect Konoha, and that, we will destroy it, c.o.c.kroach. Looking at our latest history, I believe we're living in another reality than you are." Kaname shrugged at the head doing air rolls.

*Clang* Kaname had covered both of them in the Susanoo's ribcage, preventing Danzo's kunai from backstabbing Itachi.

"Is it necessary for you to toy with him Nee-san?" Itachi asked burning Danzo point-blank with a fireball.

"It's unfortunate. Probably you never heard of Izanagi, Itachi-kun. He has sixty seconds of invulnerability. I will explain it to you someday." she replied cutting at Danzo's right hidden arm, "Hmm?"

Jumping away from his following wind projectile, she turned her sight to her sword, "What is it this time Nee-san?"

"Hey, c.o.c.kroach. What is wrong with your arm, it's muscle tissue is harder than the rest of your body?" Kaname asked, not expecting the answer she turned to Itachi "I'm sorry, go help Jiraya-san, I need to talk with this old fool privately. Be right back <Gate of Limit: Open>!" her chakra reserves instantly rocketed upwards, shattering the ground she stood on, she appeared in front of her opponent holding Danzo by his face. With a vicelike grip, she took a swing and threw him far away from combat, Danzo shot out like a bullet leaving the crater far behind him.

Hopping behind him, Kaname waited a moment on the ground for his body to start falling towards her, with a slash of her sword she killed him again.

"Oh come on, c.o.c.kroach. We both know you're still alive." she complained kicking the fallen body, only to deflect a slash of wind-chakra infused kunai aimed at her head, "So, will you tell me willingly what have you done?" she asked.

"Everything I ever did was for the betterment of Konoha, Uchiha" he spat calling the name of her clan.

"Good, I was worried you would tell me what have you done... It would take the reason for coming here out. <Kami-no-mon: Aita> be so nice and die already, <Kami-no-mon: Bijūdama>" (Respectively: Gates of a god: Open & Tailed Beast Ball) The pressure of densely compacted ball of chakra in front of her made her week in the knees, instead of charging at her, this time Danzo tried to get away as far as possible.

Covering herself with Susanoo, Kaname released the bullet, "No! <Mokuton:...>" Danzo shouted out extending his right hand towards the projectile.

*KABOOM*

Kaname observed his scorched body disappear again, only for it to manifest almost as good as new, his coat was torn to pieces, his body still smoldering, and his right arm fully visible. "You are sick..." Kaname commented easily recognizing First Hokage's face sculptured on Danzo's shoulder, and one of three red glowing sharingans implanted below his elbow.

"Everything I ever did was to protect Konoha, its history and traditions, you are too young to understand the sacrifice-"

"Bullshit! Did you rob the grave of the village's hero to protect its history? Are you insane? You are a hypocrite, you detest my clan from the bottom of your heart. Yet, if there is a chance to make yourself stronger, you would use my clan's exclusive dōjutsu even if it meant stealing the eyes from the graves. That was your plan, wasn't it? You wanted to gain more Sharingans by stealing them from the fallen ninja that day. Did you swap your balls, with the Uchiha's eyeballs, why are you scared to fight against an Uchiha? Now you have a chance to get one of the strongest dōjutsu in the world's history. Come, grave robber." she interrupted the man, using her hand to make a come hither motion.

"<Kuchiyose-no-Jutsu>! Baku!" (Summoning Technique) from the massive smoke cloud, came an orange-brown creature resembling a long-nosed tapir, "<Futon: Shinkū Renpa>!" (Wind Release: Vacuum Serial Waves). As the creature started vacuuming it's surrounding into its snout, Danzo released a wind jutsu powering the suction even more.

Flickering away from the duo, Kaname counterattacked creating a sea of flames that after being powered up by Danzo's wind technique, got s.u.c.k.e.d into his summon. 'Hah, just look at those eyes, I'm sorry Baku' Kaname apologized to the innocent creature in her mind, Baku was clearly scared at the mass of blazing flames he was absorbing.

Soon with an explosion from within, the creature erupted killing his summoner with it. Danzo came back a moment later looking around for anything to help him survive the fight.

"So? Are you ready to tell me what I want to know c.o.c.kroach? First question, where is Orochimaru?" Kaname's voice growled.

"I don't know, even if I did I wouldn't tell someone like you" he replied noting that the last of the transplanted Sharingan's just closed.

"Oh, so you do know. Sweet. I will beat the answer out of you if needed, the second question, how did you manage to reduce the cooldown of Kotoamatsukami by a factor of three-thousands and some?" Kaname's eyes instantly caught his lie.

"*Growl* You are too stupid too even consider that idea" he growled back at her.

"Hmm, your arm?" Kaname saw him twitch his right transplanted arm when she asked the question.

"Uchihas and their cursed- GAAH!" She disappeared from his eyes only to flicker back ten steps behind him with his right arm in her hand.

"Hashirama-sama's arm, no his blood? His cells? *Tsk* I will take it to examine it back home" Kaname commented studying the hand she held.

"Stupid child, you will not leave this place alive!" he charged at her with as a last-ditch effort.

Kaname side-stepped his kick, cutting off his leg and making him fall to the ground, "How in the hell, did you thought, it's a good idea to rush at me without a weapon in hand? *Sigh* Orochimaru's current location, pretty please?" she asked kneeling next to his face.

"Go to hell!" he shouted back at her between his grunts of pain.

In slow mode, Kaname watched as Danzo's c.h.e.s.t lighted up with dark markings, 'A seal, suicide? Damnit!' Quickly looking through Kaname instantly noticed what is going on 'This f.u.c.ker got his hands on Minato-san's seal and upgraded it, he was after Naru-chan'

Four symbols were already covering Danzo's body in its entirety, 'Ah, he f.u.c.k.e.d up... <Kawarimi no jutsu>' (<Substition Technique>) With an academy level technique Kaname exchanged her spots with a log lying nearby.

The seals expanded from Danzo's body covering a sizeable portion of the forest, Kaname watched as they imploded, sealing everything around him into his corpse. The arm she amputated, shriveled up, and turned to dust in front of her eyes, 'Fighting against me even after your death, *Sigh* I will have to investigate everything from scratch'. Cutting the head off for the last time and sealing it into a storage seal, Kaname hopped back towards her friends.

"What's up, are you finished here?" she called out to them.

"Kana-chan? Good, I was worried for you when we felt the explosions. Is it finished?" Jiraya visibly relaxed.

"F.u.c.ker pulled the suicide card on me. And yes he is no more."

"We finished here, should we go back to Konoha Nee-san? We should make it before the supper" Itachi replied to her, as Kakashi was in the process of eliminating last of the Root.

"*Sigh* So much death... I feel dirty because of it" Kaname observed their surroundings filled with dead bodies.

"Kana-chan, it's the life of a ninja, we can't do anything about it, we're assassins." Kakashi put his hand on her arm trying to reassure her.

"Yeah, most likely not in a single generation Doofus-kun. But I believe we should at least try, I want Naru-chan to live in a more peaceful environment. *Sigh* Another sleepless weeks full of dead faces and voices occupying my mind." With a loud whistle, Kaname gave the signal for Psyche to land back on the ground, massive red butterfly wings created powerful gusts of wind almost knocking Itachi of his feet.

[AN: Kaname is still a human, their deaths were necessary to destroy Root, but killing should never come easy - even for a ninja. She killed way more people in Konoha, but she was defending herself and her home, this time she attacked. If you want to complain about the part with Naruto, I believe every mother out there wants her child to leave a better life than she ever did]

As the four Konoha shinobi jumped on top of Psyche's head, Kaname sat between her summon's antennae. "Let's go back, Psyche-san" she urged.

"So Itachi-kun, I have a proposition for you" Jiraya started when they found themselves in the air.

"Hmm?"

"You wouldn't shy away from assassination, but you're not made for it. There is another side of our work Itachi-kun, I would like to take and teach you the art of espionage. I'm the last of Konoha's master spies, I believe with the right guidance you would be able to reach unimaginable heights"

"Me? As a student of the Sannin? Yes, sir!" Itachi replied with a rare smile on his face.

"Jiraya-san, if I catch Itachi-kun reading your smuts I will hunt you down. And don't forget you will have to teach Naru-chan when he is of age."

"I will not refuse if any of my pupils want to read my books, Kana-chan. Itachi-kun will do whatever he wants, and I will never forget about my godson" Jiraya answered.

"Nee-san, I'm not one for pranks, but shouldn't it be a fine blackmail material on my future teacher?"

"*Guh*" Jiraya's face turned bitter after he heard that.

"So, what's your decision Hokage-sama?" Mei asked the old man sitting in a makeshift tent.

"Konoha is willing to help you with evacuating the Kekkei Genkai (Bloodline Limit) users, away from the frontlines, Terumi-san. The hunts organized by your Mizukage are horrendous and are against what we in Konoha believe in"

"*Sigh* Thank you Hokage-sama, at last, some good news. And the second part?"

"Mei-sama!" Ao, followed by Mugetsu, jumped between her and the tent entrance, shielding her from an unknown enemy.

"What is going on Ao? It's not the time for-"

"My seals detected an insanely dangerous opponent closing in on us!" he interrupted her.

"Yo, Jiji! Oopsie, I didn't know you had guests" Kaname entered the tent cutting herself a window in its side.

"Hehe, don't worry Kana-chan. I was waiting for you either way." Hokage laughed hoarsely.

Mei and her escort measured Kaname with their eyes, Ao's earpiece seals were glowing bright blue warning him of the female he stood before.

"Hi, my name is Kaname." she waved nonchalantly towards the trio standing behind Hokage's chair.

"About the second part, after your country stabilizes itself, I'm willing for our villages to sign an alliance, but the deal is too one-sided I need your village to concede something" Hokage negotiated.

"Jiji, something is bothering me, why is the blue-haired guy trying to hide his Byakugan?" Kaname flat-out asked to the shock of everyone.

"WHAT?!" Ao took a step back preparing for combat.

"Eh? How!?" Mei asked stunned.

Hokage facepalmed with a loud *Splash*.

"You didn't know Jiji? Ehm, I'm sorry... Pretend I didn't ask that" Kaname replied with a grin on her face.

"*Sigh* Kana-chan..." he massaged his forehead "I saw you only for a minute and I already have a headache"

"Ah, I knew it would end up like that, that's why I gave you a new window, see? Hehe" Kaname pointed her finger to a square entrance she created.

"*Sigh* I'm sorry for keeping this a secret Hokage-sama. Ao is one of my most trusted lieutenants, I would understand that our deal would be voided-"

"Okay stop there, Terumi-san. It will complicate relations between our forces, but I'm still open for negotiations"

"One question, it's to you Kaname-san, how did you know about the Byakugan?"

"It was rather easy, I recognized the seals on your bodyguard's ears, they are alerting him from a danger that could steal his eye. Am I right?" Ao nodded his head, gruffly acknowledging Kaname's words.

"The second part was his eyepiece, the seals are blocking all signals coming from outside, it wouldn't be rare to hide one of the dōjutsus, but I saw way too many Sharingans today. There exists only one dōjutsu that can work around those seals, namely the Byakugan. So, I took the shot." she explained shrugging her shoulders.

"You have guessed it?" Mei retorted.

"Yeah, mostly" Kaname admitted.

"Ha-hahaha, she got you there Ao!" Mei laughed loudly. Calming herself down after a minute she turned back to Hokage, "I'm sorry Hokage-sama, for the last couple of years, the humorous moments in my life are few and far between. As the leader of the rebel army, if the war would be won by our side, I will let your shinobi join our Seven Swordsmen program, I feel like I can send two of our S-rank jutsu's to Konoha as a payment"

"So an alliance, sea trade-routes protected by Mizugakure's navy, the Swordsmen program, and three S-rank scrolls?" Sarutobi negotiated back.

"We never talked about trade-routes..." Ao's loud protest was quickly pacified by Mei's stare.

"So a trade-alliance for an additional scroll? Yes, I can agree to those terms. But under one condition" Mei replied.

"Yes? If it's not too much, I'm sure we can come to an agreement."

"I want Uchiha's Butterfly to join in on our conflict as soon as possible"

"...Being famous sucks big time..."
