'Are her students still here, or are they shadow clones? Byakugan can't discern between the true body and a clone. I need to test that.'

"You made a mistake, girl. You should run while you had the chance, it would be more fun for us." Sasori mocked her.

"*Cough* Heh, like you are one to talk. You know what? I'm trying to come up with a set of amputee jokes, but I'm stumped..." Kaname's comment was met with silent snickering from her students and a growl from the red-haired man.

I watched as she slowly, shakily stood back up, getting ready for her last stand, "*Tsk* Are thesse~ your students' cloness~, Kana-chan?" I inquired, checking the readiness of Edo-Tensei once again.

"Nope, Snake Bastard, they did not have to run, I got you all where I want to," she smirked towards me.

"Enough games!" Rai's body released copious amounts of electric sparks, "I will kill you myself, Uchiha Bitch!". As he prepared himself for the fight, Kisame flickered in front of him, swinging the greatsword like a bat.

'Interesting, how someone so enormous, be so fast. I believe some... extensive research into Kisame's body is needed.' I watched with amus.e.m.e.nt as the alleged chakra slash physically resistant man got sent tumbling on the ground and crashing into the side of the crater.

"She is mine," Kisame smirked, showing off his triangulated teeth.

"The f.u.c.k are you doing?" Kakuzu growled out.

"Huhuhu, I knew that putting all of uss~ together would end up like that." I chuckled, adding in my two Ryō. Kaname nodded to her students, took out her sword, and prepared for combat, 'Soon, her body will be mine. It should be enlightening to see her, no, my future body's limits.' I thought gleefully at the turn of events.

Kisame jumped into action, using his height and the greatsword he could reach Kaname from the safe distance. She pirouetted around the thrust of the bandaged sentient sword, finding herself one step closer to the hulking man, she swung her sword from below, trying to de-arm her opponent.

*Clang*

"Hehe-hahaha!" Kisame blocked her slash with Samehada's handle, "More!" he shouted out, overpowering the Uchiha, making her take a step back from his push.

"*Tsk*" Kaname clicked her tongue, noticing that she can't defeat Kisame with just the physical prowess, she jumped up and propelled herself backward kicking the giant's torso.

"Interesting, most ninjas use chakra in their bodies to execute such maneuvers, but from what I see, she is running only with the fumes of it left. It looks almost like a dance." Sasori commented.

"Fufufu, Yess~ I noticed it too. It seemss~ Kana-chan trained her body sso~ profussely~ that she can perform ssuch~ acrobatic movementss~ without the use of chakra... Huhuhu, it's exhilarating." Unconsciously, I licked my lips.

"She cost me almost all of my puppets, I should make her my new weapon for that." His unacceptable comment instantly made my head turn towards him in shock.

"Hmph, I want only her heart, she owes me, you can take the rest," Kakuzu grumbled out.

'No! It is mine. And mine only!' I thought with perturbation, 'I should make sure her body will not be accessible to any of them. They're dangerous to my plans.'

It was the battle of speed against an overwhelming force, alas, Kaname was already tired, Sasori's poison done its share to the body already throwing it out of whack. Thanks to the Byakugan, I noticed dark purplish veins showing up on Kaname's neck and t.h.i.g.hs, sneaking up further into my new flesh. Her movements became slower, her attacks sloppier, breaths shallower. She fought valiantly for three minutes, but as Kisame parried her attack, Kaname's couldn't keep hold of her sword and let it fly off in the distance, landing next to the reforming Edo Tensei.

Kisame tugged her hand, and gave a hook to her legs, making her faceplant on the ground, "Hmm, you are not half bad, I would love to fight you in your best shape, Kaname Uchiha." he acknowledged, standing above the woman choking on the blood in her mouth.

"*Cough* Yeah, thanks. *Cough* I have a question for you, Kisame-san." her face was hidden behind the locks of black hair.

"Hmm?"

"What are we?" I heard some hidden mirth in her voice.

'Ugh, I don't like where this is going... She is planning something.'

"Warriors? Sword-users?" he answered.

"*Cough* Hahaha, you are both of them surely, but I'm neither... I'm a shinobi." Kaname's students flickered next to Kisame, catching him in a triple tight hold.

"Good job, Boss." her masked student shouted out.

"Go away, he belongs to us!" Izumi yelled to the downed Uchiha.

"LET GO OF ME!" Kisame trashed about in the hold.

'How hard could it be to knock three kids away?' I considered how this giant of a man was being overpowered by three young kids.

As Kaname flickered away, all three of her students puffed out of existence, leaving behind three glowing explosion seals.

"RU-!" I tried to warn him.

*KABOOM*

The explosion painted the spot of the crater that Kisame previously occupied red, Samehada was sent flying. 'Now I understand, she is very crafty... Her students must be far away by now. These were Kana-chan's clones with her trademark explosion seals and some kind of camouflage... knowing her, it was also the effect of a seal - blocking even the Byakugan from discerning the obvious Henge.'

Kaname was clearly happy of herself, but she was too tired to notice that Samehada clearly contained massive reserves of chakra from Kisame. 'The big fool is still alive, hiding in his sword, Huhuhu, he truly is worthy of being one of the Akatsuki members. Hmm, Maki-chan? *Tsk* I need one more minute or so.'

"Hehehe, *Cough* Got one. Four more to go." she chuckled, gurgling with her blood.

"Enough. I will-" Sasori's words were interrupted by a man's shout.

"I was already obstructed once before, she is mine, I will show you how to defeat a little girl! <Raiton: Tentei no Kaminari>!" (Lightning Release: Lord of Thunder)

'I could finish it now, she doesn't stand a chance against all of us, but Rai is useless to my plans. Can Kana-chan eliminate an eyesore like him?' I turned my eyes back towards her, she was giving the lightning nature user a stink eye, 'Hoo~, I only see the confidence in her eyes, she is deliberating about how many moves she needs to deal him with. Interesting.'

With a tired nod of her head, she sloppily raised her hands in defense.

The ensuing combat could hardly be denoted as one, it was more like a one-sided beatdown, Kana-chan did not have the strength to stand up against another S-rank shinobi mercenary. 'What is this?' I noticed a glowing kanji written on Rai's arm, 'Endurance?'. As her barely conscious body leaned on her oppressor's arm, I observed the second letter appearing, 'Love? Hmm, it's a seal - no doubt, but I never saw one like that. All the seals I know have the geometric shapes allowing to control the direction of chakra.'

Rai was happily beating the shit out of my future body, 'Should I stop him? It's going to be too much work to put it back into the right condition. Hmm, the fourth letter is a Sword. Nin'ai no ken, (Enduring Love of Sword) where did I hear that before..'

Our weakest member strongly kicked Kaname, shooting her away and making her skip on top of the seawater. She slowly straightened back up on her knees, puking black ooze from her mouth, "At thiss~ rate, sshe~ will die of poissoning~." I commented.

"Hmm, no Orochimaru, it's not a poison," Sasori replied mysteriously.

She smiled with her chin smudged in black grease-like substance, "Say Light Bulb, have your body been ever torn apart?"

"I'm immune to explosions, bitch... Time to die." he pulled out his bastard sword and walked towards Kaname.

"Yeah, not the first time I heard that. *Cough*."

I watched both of them very keenly. Kaname raised out her hand and aimed her palm towards Rai. 'Does she want to choke him to death from a distance?' Unfortunately, I blinked.

"W-what?!" I shouted out, 'Rai's previous location was left with his floating, no, slowly dropping four limbs and blue sparks from his jutsu. Why is she holding his face? Where is the torso?' Looking around, I noticed that Rai's torso was splattered next to Kakuzu, I would never know if it was luck or intentional action from her side. But looking at his twitching eyebrow, Kakuzu clearly was angry.

"Live subject number one. A fail..." Kaname sighed out, letting go of the face she held. Rai's, quickly drifting away, eyes were showing astonishment of what happened, his gaping mouth was very good at impersonating a fish at the moment.

"Fufufu, yeah, that'ss~ the norm for me too, Kana-chan." I snorted with laughter walking towards her, "We're sso~ ssimilar~ to each other." Sasori and Kakuzu walking side-by-side with me.

"F.u.c.k you, Snake. You three are next," she growled out, with her right eye's sclera turning black, I knew that she did not have much fight left in her.

"Huhuhu, gentlemen, I believe I know of a perfect way for Kana-chan to leave uss~." I laughed out, "Maki-chan, finissh~ her!" I ordered the Inuzuka, pointing at her friend.

"I'm so sorry, Maki. *Cough* I couldn't-" Kaname apologized.

"DON'T YOU EVEN START AT THAT KANA-CHAN!" The brash girl yelled, "I love you, but hopefully, I will not see you for a long time, Kana-chan. <Kage Bunshin no Jutsu>!" (Shadow Clone Technique)

'Heh, isn't this the technique Kana-chan has shown you?' I snickered, watching three copies speeding up, spinning towards the broken body of Kaname.

"<Gatsūga>!" (Fang Over Fang).

"Ugh-?!" Maki-chan's spinning drills scr.a.p.ed Kaname's head and impacted us almost instantly as we were standing only three steps away. I tried to dodge, but I felt the lower part of my body being ripped out by her jutsu, from the grunts behind me, I assumed that Kakuzu and Sasori got pummeled as well. As the Edo-Tensei tore the lower half of my body off, I canceled Maki-chan's summoning, 'Nothing to worry about, I can recreate my body very effortlessly. But how did Kaname crack my control seal?'

As the dust fell down, I noticed the damage, the lower part of my body laid to the right of my head. "*Tsk*, I don't like this part. Reconnecting, broken off parts, is always uncomfortable..." Turning my upper body around, I looked at mine, let's call them companions.

Sasori must have been hit in the left side of his body, his left arm and leg were now obliterated. His broken mechanical body was revealed for all to see.

Maki struck Kakuzu dead center, he tried to dodge the attack, but two of his masks laid broken beneath his feet, a third mask had Kana-chan's sword sticking through it.

"*Cough* You three just won't die..." Kaname complained, looking as my lower part of the body slowly stitched itself back.

I hissed in pain, "How did you-?"

"Does it matter, Snake?" she smiled sadly at me, "*Cough* Just for peace of my mind, destroy my body the moment I die. *Cough*."

"Fufufu, giving up already?"

Kakuzu erupted in his wrath, he flickered behind Kaname and ripped her heart out.

"No, you fool!" I shouted out.

"..." she gave me last scathing look, a moment later, her body fell down on the ground dead.

"What?!" Kakuzu yelled back, "This way, everyone gets what they came here for. Sasori needs a new body for himself, just look at him..."

"*Tsk*" I clicked my tongue displeased, "I will have to find Itachi-kun or Izumi-chan for mysself~."

The Samehada, Kisame's sword, crawled towards us. As it got close, Kisame's shirtless body morphed out of it, letting him join us.

"Hee~ so you killed her?" the shark-man inquired.

"Not thanks to you, Kisame." the masked man growled out, "Why were you hiding in such an obvious spot?"

"I had my share, I wanted for you to have some fun." He smiled, showing off his sharp teeth.

*Ba-Bump*

The sound was like an enormous drum. The birds from neighboring islands started to flee in panic, in this heart-like beat thunder.

'Hmm?' I looked down, Kana-chan was still dead on the ground, "Did you hear that?"

*BA-BUMP!*

The crater shook, making each for of us drop on our knees.

"What do you mean, 'Run!'?" Kisame asked, looking at his sword. From Samehada's handle erupted spikes puncturing Kisame's hand. The sentient sword hurriedly crawled out of the crater.

*BA-BUMP!!!*

The ground beneath Kaname got enveloped by flickering black flames, I felt the heat coming from them even standing ten steps away from her. The soil below her body started glowing red and melting.

"Uhh, I t-think... we should flee." Kisame attentively advised, running behind his sword.

*BA-BUMP!!!!!!*

"GRAAH!" The heart in Kakuzu's hand started burning in those weird flames, they instantly evaporated his right hand. The puddle of black fire widened exponentially, reaching two steps away from me, I felt my skin boiling in the heat.

"RUN!" I ordered loudly.

"Wait, Orochimaru! I can't move like this. I need your help!" Sasori called to me.

"Have fun, Sasori. Ssayonara~!" I smiled, flickering away.
