Undying Warlord

738 Real Reward!

With the help of the Spectran, Lone Shadow, the World Elemental, and everyone else, defeating the other Primordials had been rather easy.

This might have been because the Primordials' strength had been restricted but nearly everyone had been drastically weakened. The Primordials may have been at a disadvantage nonetheless, but that didn't really. At the end of the day, only the result mattered.

The result was that Dilan had come out victorious and that he could open the Gates to everyone, who deserved to emerge and live on Milarn.

For the time being, he restricted the entrance for everyone who fought against him and his allies but that was just a way for him to make sure that everyone received the punishment they deserved.

As for the distribution of the rewards, it was not Dilan's job to do so. He would just give everyone what they deserved according to the negotiated contracts. If the contracts were unclear he would tell others to take care of this problem.

His highest priority was to take care of Milarn, let it prosper, and take a look at one of the system notifications he had received.

[Congratulations for completing the hidden stage of the <<Guardian of Milarn>> Mystic Mission! The World Elemental has been summoned, and less than 10% of participating Ancient True Gods have been killed.

Reward: The host can immediately create his True Divinity. Milarn's Core Essence, the Essence of Destruction, and the Essence of the Flame of the Beginning can be extracted!]

While he was paying his full attention to the system notification, Dilan didn't even notice that the Spectran and everyone else had already left.

"Damn…that's a crazy reward!" Dilan mumbled when he understood what the reward of the hidden stage was.

It was, quite literally, worth just as much as binding the sentient of Milarn to his Soul Subspace. He gained tremendously from this bond, even if it was not yet firm, but the hidden reward was worth just as much!

'It was definitely worth dying that often for these annoying pests…'

Dilan had already expected that it would take several centuries before his link with Milarn was firm enough to extract its Core Essence. However, that was not necessary anymore because he received the Essences of the remaining three core components of his True Divinity…without doing anything at that!

Dilan was pretty sure that his fortune for the next few hundred years had been used up from all the rewards he had received from the Mystic Mission.

Of course, he hoped that his fortune would last much longer. He didn't want even more trouble than he had faced the last few decades. It was time for him to take a nice break and spend a few decades creating his True Divinity!

'Will they leave me in peace for now? Probably…they even told me to create my True Divinity as quickly as possible, and not to bother with the Veils and Veilures for the time being.'

Dilan was quite satisfied with the overall result of the Mystic Mission and the Great War. He also got a rough understanding of the Primordials' power. The Ancients were also much stronger than Dilan had expected, which was why he was a little bit confused.

'The Lightning Titan and everyone else merely tested me when we fought. I…really thought that I was already on their level…ridiculous…'

Scratching the back of his head in embarrassment, Dilan ended up smiling at the end. He felt a little bit like a fool but that was still fine.

As long as he gave his best, others would notice his effort. Dilan was certain that everyone understood his intentions and that his determination and conviction had been enough to make them understand what he had on his mind, what he was planning for the future, and much more.

Dilan didn't really have many secrets anymore. There was no need to lie, either. Thus, he ended up as an open book for everyone.

However, that was exactly what made him dangerous. He wouldn't change who he was for someone else, and he would always give his best to make sure that he could meet the standards he set for himself. His ideals were something worth protecting for him, no matter what it cost.

Dilan was ready to take a short 'break' while working hard to create his True Divinity. With that in mind, he would just step back from the battlefield and make sure that Milarn would prosper, grow and create a firmer bond with him. That way, his strength would also increase. Their powers were shared one way or another, either way!

'Once my True Divinity is completed my problem should be solved as well…being a part of me, Milarn will never cease to exist. After all, I will never cease to exist… The prophecy won't be able to take Milarn and my people from me…right?' He asked himself, even though he knew the answer better than anyone else.

The prophecy was something extremely uncertain because it didn't feel like the Oracle of the Universe's Fate was actually in supreme control of the Universe. They could do certain things but the true extent of their powers was unknown. It was impossible for them to see everything, which was also the reason why they invested so much in Dilan, the Undying, and the other Fate Changer, Nial Orin, the Eternal Darkness.

The two of them could be considered the most important pieces on the chessboard, but they were also uncertain variables that couldn't be controlled one way or another.

Dilan's only desire was to make sure that he could protect the Universe because the safety of his beloved ones was inevitably linked to the Universe's safety.

Nonetheless, Dilan made sure that he was secured in more than one way. If the Universe would crumble, at least Milarn and the people on the planet should survive.

He could protect his beloved ones that way.

However, for now, he would have to spend decades of peace so that he won't be bothered while creating his True Divinity!
