That night Jin had a horrible nightmare, well, to be honest, it was an extremely weird dream.

He dreamt it in 3rd person. It was about couple discovering a baby inside a melon. The face of the couple was blurred out.

Although Jin could not see their facial expression he could sense their emotions. At first, both were astonished. But the wife quickly became happy. Obviously, she longed for a child of her own, she believed this baby was a gift from the heavens.

The husband, on the other hand, was suspicious.

'What is the origin of this baby, why did it appear inside the melon. Is he a demon in human form....', many thoughts went through the husbands head all of which Jin could sense.

The wife soon pleaded with the husband to adopt the baby, as there own.

But the husband was reluctant.

"What if it was someone else's child, would it alright to claim the child of another as there own", said the husband to the wife.

"He is obviously a gift from the gods to us if he was someone else's baby how would he end up inside a melon", said the wife.

"What if he is a demon", said the husband.

"He has no fangs or claws or horns, he is obviously a human", retorted the wife.

The argument went on for about half an hour till the husband gave up and accepted the baby as his child.

The wife was very happy.

They named him melon boy.

Rodrick refused to join any faction as he very much enjoyed his freedom, and he did want to get involved with the fight between these two factions.

But as the power of Rodrick grew more two factions considered him as a threat as both factions were right now equal in power and whichever side Rodrick joins will have the advantage.

So both factions came together and made a treaty that they won't allow Rodrick to join there faction. And thus a temporary peace was achieved.

Rodrick was unconcerned with this, but as time went own, he grew lonely as all the immortal gods were ignoring him due to the treaty.

To remedy this he created skill seeds of the and dropped them into the mortal world. Whoever gets these skill seeds will be his disciple.

It is unknown how the system got the skill seed for . And honestly, Jin did not care all he cared about was becoming the disciple of a God level expert.

According to the system, there are 4 conditions for becoming the disciple of Rodrick.

1) You must get one of the 7 skill seeds.

2) You must comprehend at least the first 30th layer of the skill seed.

3) You must attain pseudo-god cultivation level.

Blue Sparrow is a yellow rank 1 demon beast, it has a strong sense of smell so it travell between two people using its sense of smell.

In the Divine Wind Continent demon beasts are divided into 4 classes, Yellow, Xuna, Earth, Heaven. With Yellow being the weakest and Heaven being the strongest. Each class is further divided into 9 ranks.

Although Blue Sparrow is one of the weakest, it can be domesticated and used for communication. So it is one of the most widely used demonic beasts in Lufu empire.

"Hmmp......", Samson snorted, "Although you inherited you mothers ugly looks, at least you inherited my intelligence", said Samson.
