Unpredictable Marriage.

She immediately pulled Lady Chen up from the sofa while saying, "You've already said it, so I won't even allow you to go back on your words. Hurry up and stand up so we won't be late".

She said the last sentence while pulling Lady Chen up from the sofa.

Lady Chen allowed herself to be pulled up while looking at Madam Liu in bewilderment. 'What does she mean by, so we won't be late? It is already obvious that she shamelessly wants to spend my money'.

Madam Liu half-pulled and half-dragged Lady Chen as she went outside.

When the two women reached the entrance, they began to argue on Whoose car to use as Lady Chen refused the idea of them going out in two different cars.

Lady Chen won the argument as she said that she would drop Madam Liu off after their meeting with their friends and she (Madam Liu) wouldn't need to waste her the gas in her car.

Madam Liu just agreed with her as she didn't have the stamina to continue arguing with her, as that was what Lady Chen was very good at.

So Madam Liu marched off to Lady Chen's car and sat at the back passenger seat and Lady Chen immediately followed and sat at the back passenger seat as well.

Then she (Lady Chen) told her driver Mr P to drive off.

As their car reached the gate, Lady Chen looked through the rearview mirror and saw another car following them.

She was able to see the car as she was sitting directly behind the driver.

She asked Madam Liu who was sitting beside her, "I already told you that I would send you back, so why is your car following us?".

Madam Liu explained, "It's for more security. Their are two bodyguards in that car, so they are useful, and they will follow us around".

Lady Chen relaxed comfortably while saying softly, but to Madam Liu's hearing, "I don't even Know why you are troubling yourself".

Madam Liu sighed softly before leaning on the seat without saying anything.

Back in the Audi A8, Chen Lihua was staring daggers at Liu Longwei. She was beyond angry. If her eyes were able to release bullets, she would have shot Liu Longwei to death a long time ago.

Liu Longwei smiled and said to her, "Why are you looking at me like that, what did I do wrong?".

Instead of answering, Chen Lihua hissed and turned her face to look ahead.

Liu Longwei opened his mouth to say, "You shouldn't be angry at me, it's not my fault. You should have told me about your conversation with Lady Chen, or if you didn't want to tell me about your conversation, you should have at least notified me in case Lady Chen inquires about it".

Chen Lihua sighed heavily after Liu Longwei's speech. She then turned to look at him tiredly, "Am sorry for getting angry at you, I shouldn't have as it's not your fault. I should have told you ahead of time, it's just that I didn't expect Lady Chen to call and apologize".

Liu Longwei smiled, then he stretched his hand to rub her hair smoothly, "It's okay".

Chen Lihua shook her head, "No it's not okay, I know my mother very well. She will do something to retaliate".

Liu Longwei pulled his hand away from Chen Lihua's head and asked in surprise, "Why would she do that, it's just a little prank played on her by her own daughter and that prank wouldn't hurt her".
