An unrelenting torrent of pain assaulted Tetsuya's mind and body. All he could see were some shape-changing blobs surrounding him. The terrifying agony seemed to seep into his very bone. He could feel several ribs in his c.h.e.s.t were broken and hundreds of wounds poured blood all around him.

After a few hours of torture, the pain slowly started to subside and his vision started to clear. He realized that he was inside some kind of a cave. The cave seemed to have an ancient feel to it. He lied there alone on the stone floor with a smirk on his face. He soon realized it all as the memories started to flood in... he had transmigrated... He looked at the small pond of water near the cave wall and his smile widened. The spiky blond hair and deep blue eyes along with 3 whisker marks on each cheek put a bright smile on his face. It looked kinda cute.

[For reasons unknown, after you died, your soul mutated and gave birth to the one of a kind System called the Unrivalled System of The Shinobi Path (USTSP). Your soul drifted into the void until it entered the dead body of this Ancient Bone-Demon emperor. Your soul started mutating the body and soon completely occupied it. It also created this new body for you. It seems you have also absorbed some of the essences of the demon emperor in your body which was later exchanged for something else by the library.

USTSP is a unique System that allows you to create, compile and learn new things. With USTSP you can convert any ordinary technique into something from the Shinobi world "DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE POINTS YOU INVEST INTO IT". For example, you if find and learn a technique that can create fire then you can exchange it for something like a simple fireball jutsu or if you invest more "Exp" into it, then even Fire-based bloodline and weapons can be bought. Exp can be earned by adding new techniques to the System, creating new ones or improving existing ones and, mastering a certain skill to the next level.

However please remember that the total strength of all abilities depends on your Qi cultivation rank.]

"Mmmh... I get most of the stuff but what is Qi? Am I in some sort of a Wuxia world like those Chinese martial arts novel?"

[All things in this particular Universe are based on Qi as the primary source of power. At its core, Qi is just the natural energy of the world around them. People of this world are capable of absorbing the natural energy of the world with the help of "Qi veins" inside their body. These Qi veins convert the natural energy into "Qi" that they can use.]

[The total amount of Qi a person can hold in their body is limited, to bypass this drawback and gain more strength the users of Qi have devised numerous ways. The most common way is to compress their Qi to such a degree that it undergoes a qualitative change. This results in the formation of a highly compressed and much denser Qi than before. All the Qi produced thereafter by the Qi vein would be of higher quality. The boost in combat prowess this denser Qi provides is so significant that people consider it as a major breakthrough in their strength. Denser Qi also further increases their lifespan to such a degree that they start to seem immortal to ordinary beings.

- The fighting prowess of all beings can be divided into 7 major cultivation Ranks and 9 minor stages called 'stars' for each rank.

The System will give your Qi similar properties to that of Chakra, thus allowing you to use both Qi and Chakra based abilities. Please do note that using the System shop you can only buy an enhanced version of Shinobi techniques. Although there are no restrictions on learning Qi-based techniques but the System will not help you upgrade them or improve them in any way. You can, however, exchange them for a Shinobi jutsu in the System Store.
