From what she remembers, there is only a family in the village that has a beast race and it was a human male, a beautiful rabbit beast female, and a panda beast child.

And from what she heard from her mother Celine, the young panda beast child before her was someone that the couple has adopted three years ago, after one year of losing their only fourteen years old young girl deep in the forest.

Yeah, for normal people the forest that Claret has been living with her Mother Celine, Squishy and now Theo, is a really dangerous place because some magical monster lives deeper in the Wood forest, usually, those magical monsters don't enter the outer layer of the forest, but there are those that manage to come close though.

The young rabbit girl being lost and dying in the forest isn't surprising situation at all since it happens all around the world, people dying is the norm in this world.

Law of the jungle is this world rule.

And even though the beast race usually have a strong physical body and fighting abilities but because of the human race has far more right and the dominant one in the Edhel Continent, most of their beast races was a bit weak and timid and it was because of the circ.u.mstances that they live their lives and about what they experience from being disdain and downgraded all the entire time that most of the beast races retain a rather weak will.

Usually, they are supposed to be violent, fierce and barbaric races who love to fight from the imagination of the people on Earth, but this world is a bit different from those imaginations.

But besides that, as Claret can see those glistening pure black eyes, her heart melted, so with a kind and gentle smile, she gracefully walked and offered her hands toward the panda beast child along with the soft and comforting voice.

"Hello there, your name is Mariette, right? Are you lost? Would you like me to escort you out right now?"

"Sister Claret? … there is no need to burden yourself in helping this child… she knows the way out."

Suddenly, the voice of Beck with a bit of bewildered and confused expression suddenly sounded out behind Claret back, causing a bit of a frown to grace her beautiful face about the young man rather cruel words.

"What are you saying? I just can't leave a child by herself here right? Although this is the outer layer of the Wood Forest, it is still dangerous."

Her heart turning indifferent from the young man's words, although he has been kind toward her, it doesn't mean that she is really that close to Beck.

Not deeming to speak another word to Beck, Claret turned to the young child again, and although the young child is timid and a bit fearful, but she knew that those have been given to the young man from the start rather than herself.

"Come on, take big sister hand and I'll escort you out the forest and send you to your parent home. It is getting a bit late."

Pure black eyes gaze at the beautiful and kind big sister that is currently offering a slender hand toward her, the panda ears on her head twitching from time to time causing Clare to squeal a bit inside before the young child has slowly and nervously used her tiny and dirty hands to grab Claret slender white hand.

The beast instinct that Mariette has been using when she was growing up has told her that this person can be trusted and will never cause her any harm at the moment.

Suddenly, the young girl flinches and grab the blue skirt of Claret and hiding a bit from it when Theo has suddenly appeared beside Claret.

"Ah, no need to worry little Mariette, this is Theo, he won't cause you any harm."

After Claret pacified the always timid and nervous young child, she turned around to reprimand the young man for suddenly scaring the adorable panda girl, only to see a beautiful smile has suddenly grace Theo gorgeous face causing her to be in a dazed.

"Here, I will hold the basket for you."

Suddenly feeling the weight being removed from her hand, Claret finally got her bearing back from seeing the gorgeous young man smile before her, even she could tell that those have been a true smile from the heart.

Before Claret can react, a slightly cold hand has suddenly has taken her one hand, causing her emerald eyes to widen underneath the white bandage before feeling herself being gently pulled forward which causes her to also pull the young child at the same time.

Theo who found the young woman sudden silent a bit interesting has smile once again causing Claret to be dumbfounded again, as they walk away, Theo didn't forget to nod his head back at the surprise and silent young villager as they left.

Claret who was being pulled by Theo couldn't help but became a bit shy while this time it was her turn for her ears to turn a bit pink, however, only one thought manages to grace her mind while being escorted out by Theo out of the Wood Forest.
