Unruly Behavior Of A Curse Lawless Woman

"What are you doing? We already warn that your family and you are not allowed to get close to Sister Claret right?"

Suddenly a young child with panda ears was pushed away in the ground by a young man who was named Beck while his eyes have been showing a gloomy look as he stared without any mercy on his eyes at the young child that has been waiting patiently outside so early in the morning for the arrival of a certain someone.

"... my mother needed help…"

Hearing the murmur words of the young child, Beck's expression didn't show any sympathy at all, before he cruelly began to beat the beast child without hesitation and guilt on his young face.

"You guys can't get close to Sister Claret alright? What will happen if everything goes wrong and cause misfortune to befall to our only healer right now? You guys are just a curse race after all."

Was what the young Mariette wanted to speak out loud while curling her body and protecting her head, every movement she made is something that has been ingrained deep within her with great familiarity.

But she knew that her opinion was all useless, for a beast race, this is the familiar way that they are mostly being treated everywhere, as long as they are not 'human' to them, the other races aren't people that needed to be treated well.

Suddenly, the clear and innocent pitch-black eyes that was hidden has suddenly glint in a fierce look of a beast, before the image of her adopted father and mother appeared on her mind, making the movement that she was about to do to still before letting the young man beat her up.

Mariette cannot act the way she wanted when she was still a mere beggar and unwanted, or else the villagers will give more trouble and difficulty toward her adopted parent.

Panting a bit, Beck's eyes flicker conceited emotions as he looks down at the currently pitiful young girl before him like he was a person of higher importance before finally leaving and walking deep in the forest not forgetting to leave threatening words.

"Remember, don't get close to Sister Claret or else I will go toward your parent and make trouble."

Seeing as Beck has already left, Mariette has slowly got up, her young face not showing any painful expression, seemingly been used from being hurt and has a high pain endurance, though her beast blood has also helped a bit from it.

Eyes still showing fierceness within it, Mariette stares at the direction of where the young man has just left before slowly secretly following along.

Soon, another day has arrived and Claret has finally finished giving one more healing session at the unconscious villagers while taking care of the water that the villagers will be using for a few days, Claret finally decided that she already trained enough at the way of healing people with light magic.

"I'll go now. I finally found a clue of the source so I'll be gone for a few days, but I will be back soon."

"Really? That is great Sister Claret! I know that you are able to fix the problem soon! But please takes great care while you are at it. We don't want anything bad happening to you."

The young man Beck showed a relief expression on his face, while his eyes shining in reverence as he deeply stares at the young woman before him with a bit of obsessive hidden deep within it.

Causing the silently watching Theo to narrow his amber eyes dangerously, while Claret just remains unperturbed since unfortunately she was quite use to that kind of gaze in her previous life, but sometimes she couldn't help but wonder why she has always been getting this kind of attention from men that is after her.

"Yes, I'll try to fix this soon, so that everyone can finally be at ease. And thank you for your kind words, don't worry I will take care of myself."

After saying her farewell at Beck and the listening villagers with a saint smile on her beautiful face, Claret turned around and left, this time, a bit earlier than usual and decided to just walk her way back home.

Theo glance at the young man one more time before quickly following along and finally walking side by side at the young woman.

Seeing as they are already within the Wood Forest, Claret passes her time as she walks leisurely and talks to the silent gorgeous young man.

"Theo, what do you want to eat for tonight dinner?"

"Anything is fine."

Feeling the boring reply of the young man, Claret suddenly walk ahead before turning around to face Theo while walking backward.

"Come on, don't be like that. You know I rarely cook for other people, so, please tell me what you really want!"

Amber eyes blink at the young woman moves, before nervously staring at the way Claret has been walking, his hand twitching as he prepares himself if she ever trips over, seeing as Claret becomes stubborn as she waits for his reply, Theo just inwardly sigh.

This woman is confusing, sometimes she appears as a m.a.t.u.r.e a.d.u.l.t, sometimes reacts in a childish way, then becoming kind and cold, before acting like a big sister looking at a younger brother and then being close off, Claret is a really confusing person full of contradiction and mystery.

"... I want sweet and sour meat that you have made before."

Finally hearing Theo answer, Claret beamed happily before finally turning around and walking by Theo side.

"Isn't that easy? Isn't it tiring to always looking after other people's opinions first before yourself? Be selfish once in a while and tell me what you really want, ok? I won't judge you for being yourself!"

Humming a sound, Claret began to think about the ingredients they have at home, oblivious at the way those amber eyes widen in surprise and shock while his body stops walking a second before quickly getting his bearing back as he swiftly makes it seemed that he didn't show anything unusual just now.

Complicated amber eyes once in a while glance at the oblivious young woman walking next close to him.

"Hey Squishy don't eat all the food, left some for Theo too!"

In a small house, a warm atmosphere is currently happening in a simple dining room, as a light green slime monster was being reprimanded in an exaggerated way by a beautiful young woman that was currently taking some food to give to a gorgeous young man plate.

Theo amber eyes glance at the slime monster and young woman before him for a while, the entire time feeling happiness as his heart warm over.

Every single day, happiness seemed to slowly seep into his cold heart, to be able to feel this way is a luxury for someone like him.

Theo really doesn't want to leave these people before him, but in the end, he needed to, after helping Claret help cure the villagers will be the day that he decided to leave.

As for asking Claret to come with him, Theo decided that it is dangerous out there, rather than taking her along because of wanting to bask in the comfortable feeling of her presence, Theo would prefer for her to stay in this Wood Forest.

At least, he can come and visit her if he got the time right?

So with those thoughts in his mind, Theo has also let out a sincere smile on his gorgeous face causing a certain person to stare toward him with a bit more longer than usual which she has soon tried to slap a certain slime monster that wiggle away in a taunting move.

Yup, this person is really weird along with that unusual slime monster of hers.
