Unspoken Feelings

Chapter 69 - Their dilemma

Francis and Helen on the other hand had been analyzing the discussion. It appears that the beasts are already aware of the incoming danger. Since there was no way to flee, they had been tempering themselves to fight an upcoming battle.

"This is happening so fast, don't you think Helen?" Francis commented.

"Yes" She readily agreed. Within her mind, she could picture the venom of the monsters which was rapidly spreading through out her body. She was still in the second realm (her physical body was in 1st realm). Going from one realm to the lower realm means that she failed to achieve the needed requirements to go to higher realms. Transmigrating to the lower realm gives her a chance to atone for her sins, and met the requirements that she failed to acquire in her last life. If the venom would destroy the second realm before she could even find out what she did wrong or how she could go up she would be sent to the third realm. She will continue going all the way to the ninth realm and who knows what will happen after that.

While Helen was in deep thought Francis kept staring at her.

She crossed her arms and stared blankly to one side. The serious expression in her face told everyone that her mind was somewhere else. That behavior was exactly like his friend back in Planet Hilan. The same aura exuded in two different people.

[Impossible, she could not be her. Even if we died at the same time, she would simply be transmigrated on the lower dimension within her own body. I would stay on my own body as well. But this woman…..] Francis was in deep thought as well.

[should I tell, Francis?] As Helen lifted her gaze, she met Francis eyes. They both had that questions in their faces.

Lub dub...

Francis felt his heart leaped out. [This feeling…]

Helen immediately withdrew her eyes and looked away. Her face was flushing red. [why was he looking at me? Does he know?] She placed her hands to cover her eyes. She was too confused. [How could he be the real Francis? I am sure that I am in the second realm in my own body, is it even possible for the soul to transfer to another body after death? What is happening?]

She was sure that her frustration was caused by her lies. If she told him immediately that she was Helen from planet Hilan, they could have been deliberating on the matter together.

[I have to tell him now…. No.. no.. no.. what if he was not real? What if he is just fragment of a will or something…] she sighed and thought for a while [If he ever asked me, I will say yes. This time, I just need to give him signals. But….] she said.

Not knowing where to start they simply sat down and continued to listen to Madel's interrogation. It took sometime before they collected their thoughts.

"By the way, did your cultivation just went higher?" Madel asked Cheska and Helen.

Cheska was confused, [I did, suppressed my cultivation earlier did I]

It was the same for the rest of the group except Madel.

"Maybe the dark forest.." Cheska choked on her words. 'The walls has ears'. She realized that, it was not safe to talk about it in the open.

"Yes, Cheska, the dark forest contributed to our breakthrough. But I… I guess, Madel had something to do with it." Henry sent the message to them via telepathy.

"Yes, I think so too, but I am not sure." Cheska agreed.

"She had been physically preparing all of us by feeding us with spiritual fruits for a long time." Henry said.

A moment of silence loomed over the group. Henry and Cheska were talking via telepathy while Francis and Helen where in deep thought.

Madel looked at her friends and shook her head. [what a pity that I could not communicate with them via telepathy.]

After having lunch Madel set off to go to the apothecary department again. She delivered Tristan's freshly picked flowers for Evony daily. Tristan, was the only shadow that she did not loath. May it be a child or elderly as long as their blood is not pure, Madel can sense a feeling of indifference or even the d.e.s.i.r.e to kill. She had been telling herself that she has nothing to do with this world and that she was only here for a certain mission. There is no need to put her hands to the things that she was not concerned of.
