Vain

Aileene knew that no matter how much she could plan ahead for herself. She could not merely complete all she wished by her own hand, no matter how much she wanted to. It was simply impossible to stretch herself so thin.

She needed help, someone she could turn to and rely on. Someone that could get the connections that she needed, wanted. And that someone was in her very family.

Marcus Lovell was her uncle, her wonderful and caring uncle. He had taken her in after her parents' death and provided her with a family to lean on. Her cousin, her aunt, her uncle they were all precious people to her. And she would never want them to be involved in the things that she wanted to accomplish. But she had no other way, to get in contact with the people that she needed on her side, she would need power.

And power was something that she didn't currently possess, she was still a child who had four more years till she was of age. She merely had a dukedom title that she could not use right now.

That was why, Aileene knew that she had to, needed to pull her uncle to her side.
