"So what your saying is that this blood belongs to someone from the royal family?!" I look at Cerberus with awe.

He paces back an forth. "I don't know! If this blood comes back, being one of the royal vampires than...we are all dead!" He rushes out the door.

"Wait!" I make sure the blood doesn't go anywhere on my finger as I chase after him. "Cerberus wait!"

He continues to walk fast.

'Damn he was fast!' I catch up to him. "Where are you going?"

"To someone that knows how to help.."

I sigh. 'Hopefully this person could help us...I know who did this but what I can't help but wonder is why?'

We stop in front of some metal doors. No windows where on it so I couldn't see what was on the other side. All there was was a little box next to the door.

Cerberus presses the button under it. "It's me. Cerberus.."

A noise is heard on the other side than suddenly the doors open.

He looks at me. "Don't say anything until I tell you to." He walks in the room.

I enter after him. The room was a lab. "Wow.." Vampires look at my finger. I smile. 'Damn!' I walk by Cerberus.

He stops. "Hand me your hand."

I hold out my hand with the blood on it. "Here.."

He holds it. "Look" He looks to his left but no one is there. "You need to see this.."

"Umm no ones there." I look at him dumbfounded.

He shakes his head. "Some vampire you are." He looks at the empty air. "Show yourself. She's new"

Suddenly, a little girl appeared. She was to my h.i.p.s.

"A little girl?" I laugh a little.

She looks up at me. "New blood" She grabs my hand without asking and examines the blood. "Hmm. Looks different" She grabs a wipe and wipes the blood up. "I'll run some tests." She looks at Cerberus. "Why do you need this?"

He swallows hard. "I think the person that tried to kill Ambrose left some of their blood behind"

The girl nods. "Okay." She looks at me. "I'll make sure they come straight you two if anything shows."

He nods. "Thank you" He turns around. "Lets go" He pulls on me.

I follow. When the doors shut after getting out of the room I turn to him. "Who was that?"

"Miss Mead. She's one of the oldest vampires around. She and a few others. Though she's the smart one out of them" He sighs. "Listen, Ambrose..." He turns to me. "I need you to stay clear of your surroundings." He puts his hands on my shoulders. "I want you to stay safe but I still need to know if you will promise me that you will stay out of harms way." He holds my head. "Promise?"

I sigh. 'Even though I know he is doing it out of caring it still stings.' I nod. "As long as you too stay safe." We smile at one another.

"I need to go check out a few more things. Stay in your room until I come back." He kisses my forehead and leaves me alone.

I watch him leave. My stomach growls. 'Guess I'll go eat..' I make my way towards the kitchen when I get a sudden wind hit me. "Hmm?" I stand there looking around. "Whose there?" I look closely around. 'I needed to know who this was. So this time if something did happen I could know who my killer was.' "I said who is that?"

"Man what a shame it is that he chose you.."

I freeze. I knew this voice. I slowly turn to see Nathan standing there. He was smiling.

"Hello beautiful.." He smiles huge. His teeth showing.

Suddenly, everything goes black...

"Wake up!" Someone splashes water on Ambrose.

"Ahh!" I scream as the cold water hits her. "The hell?" I try to move but realize my neck, legs and arms have chains wrapped around them.

Nathan stands in front of me. "Hello beautiful.." He smiles. His teeth showing.

I pull at the chains but nothing. "Why?" I look up at him.

He sighs. "I didn't want it to be this way.." He touches my cheek. "I wish things could be different.."

I bite his hand hard. Making him bleed.

"Hey!" He pulls away. His hand heals fast. "That wasn't very nice!"

"Oh and this is?" I move the chains.

He shakes his head. "It's for your own good." He crosses his arms. "I have to."

I look at the ground. "She never died..did she?.."

He nods. "She did.."

I quickly look up at him.

"She died..but something happened.." he looks off in the distance. "Look," He looks at me. "I need you to follow everything I say or I'll-"

"Kill me?" I laugh. "Do it!" Tears run down my face. "If I die than that means they'll come for you." I look at him. "I know you never cared."

He bends down to me. "I do.." He sits down in front of me. "I do.." He rubs his neck.

I notice a bite bark on his neck. "That wasn't there before.."

He stops. "It's nothing."

"Nathan!" A girl walks in. She swayed her h.i.p.s as she walked.

My eyes widen. "You.." I swallow hard. "Adreana.."

She smiled at me. "Hi." She pulled up Nathan and kissed him while glaring at me.

I look away. 'Was she jealous of me?'

"Hey.." he smiles at her.

She pushes him away. "So has she said anything?"

He shakes his head. "I'm still trying to make her follow our-"

Suddenly, she kicks me in the head. Causing my head to hit the wall behind me.

"HEY!" Nathan pulls her.

She laughs. "What?"

I look around dizzy. I see and fill the blood running down my face.

"We need her alive!" Nathan takes off his jacket. He wraps it gently around my head.

She crosses her arms. "Well come get me when she is ready to do what we say" She walks off.

"Sorry about her.." Nathan sighs.

My head throbs. "Its..its fine.." I try to speak but its too hard for me. 'Even if I'm a vampire I still feel pain like a human. Ugh!'

"I need you follow our directions." He stands. He puts his hands in his pockets. "If you don't..." He swallows. "We'll make you.." He walks away.

I soon close my eyes. 'Make me? Says you! I know someone will come for me....hopefully..'
