Within the celestial brilliance of Heaven, the Realm opposite to Hell, the Divine Presence of the Almighty One, [God], slowly began to wake from his long slumber.

Several winged figures gathered amidst the endless Realm of Skies, Seas of Clouds, and Floating Islands. [God]'s very Soul manifesting itself from an endless sphere of light into a more condensed shape.

"…" He remained in silence, until every single Angel, Archangel, Throne, and other types of servants of his own creation gathered around his Divine Presence.

The Seven True Archangels, his most loyal guardians, warriors, and holders of the Primordial Virtues, also gathered around him, bowing before his almighty, celestial Will.

"It has been a long while since the Fragment separated from us…" He said. "The Demons seek it, yet they have failed to obtain it. Lucifer… He has not changed at all; despite all these eons I've given him to recapacitate."

"You shouldn't bother with someone like him, my almighty lord." A blonde archangel spoke, with long blonde hair, six enormous wings, and a crown made of light above his head. "You simply have to ask for it, and we will wage a war that will end it all once and for all."

"No…" God spoke again. "I am tired of bloodshed…"

The other Archangels remained in silence for a bit, sighing. Their God had changed ever since the last War between Angels and Demons, where not only Demons, but many Angels died.

He held incredible power, but he was unable to revive the souls of his children if they were corrupted or devoured by demons, remaining on a perpetual agony within these demons.

At the end, those that devoured the most Angels, ascended into the Archdemons known to all. Naturally, the companions of these lost Angels desire revenge, to end it all in a single war.

But [God] has no desire for a war… yet.

"I must keep watching." He spoke again. "To see… Where will everything go from now on."

As he spoke, no angel said a word.

"However, fear not." He later said, after analyzing the expressions of his family. "I will not watch for another eternity. We will take the Fragment back where it belongs, and the Demons… will eventually receive the punishment for their Sins."

(Blake's POV)

The sensation of a cold stone below my face slowly woke me up, the pain all across my body made me open my eyes faster than I imagined.

"Hm?"

I looked at my side, finding a huge red colored crystal shattered into pieces, Satan's core, there were also a few small red, semi-transparent glass fragments, small pieces of his soul.

"Looks like we won."

Memories of what happened rushed back to my mind as I healed my injuries by drinking a few Mana Potions to imbue the energy into my physique, which naturally began to recover my wounds.

Satan was defeated after much struggle, thanks to not only the help of my friends, but also that of my spirits and the holy spirits.

He was much tougher than Beelzebub, mostly because of how much he was willing to sacrifice in comparison to the giant fly.

And because of that, he also paid a greater price for his sacrifices.

Nonetheless, where the hell am I now?

The entire area surrounding me resembled an old, dark cave, it was gigantic, was this what was below the city? It certainly wouldn't had been normally accessible, if it wasn't because Satan destroyed everything, probably shattering a huge mantle of stone on his blows.

"Is this the Abyss I've heard about?"

As I wondered that, Eleanora appeared at my side, alongside Saphira.

"Papaaa! Are you alright?!" Saphira flew towards me, hugging me tightly. "You're covered in blood!"

"It seems that after the battle, you fell in here with Satan. His body already disintegrated, thankfully, you landed safely because we managed to catch you." Said Eleanora. "You pushed yourself too much, you fell unconscious right after Satan's defeat. Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." I smiled, as my body was cracking constantly, bones slowly healing back together. "It's not like I'll take months to recover or something… Now, let's go back to the surface, everyone should be worried by now."

"I guess so." Eleanora smiled, nodding. "Now that Satan is done with, there are four more left, isn't it?"

"Well, five, if we count Lucifer…" I said. "Though, I doubt it's going to be as easy now, Beelzebub and Satan were easy to bait and provoke but the rest… not so much, it will be a bit trickier, but we've gathered good enough loot from them."

"You mean the fragments of their souls?" Asked Eleanora. "If both were exactly their soul's halves… It could be possible to combine them to generate a soul strong enough to compare with all the other Archdemons!"

"Bingo." I nodded. "Though, to do such a thing… We'll need more than just the assistance of the Holy Spirits, and to even assimilate such a power, perhaps even more… For now, it is better for them to keep the Fragments, which they hold complete power over it. Like this, they also hold Authority over the Layers of Hell these two idiots governed, giving us more territory."

"With two Layers on our side already, maybe things could end differently than before…" Eleanora seemed to be slowly gaining more hope.

"It will, it has to." I said, filled with conviction. "Hm? Where's Saphira?"

"She… went there." Eleanora pointed at the distance. "Saphira?"

We walked together to find her, only to sense her presence very far away, she was constantly moving away faster and faster…

"Where is this girl even going to?!" Eleanora got a bit angry. "I'll reprimand her once we find her!"

"Calm down, she seems excited about something…" I wondered. "Saphira is a Specter, so she can sense things we naturally can't, even with all my abilities and skills, there are still things I cannot sense myself."

"Saphira! Saphira?!" Eleanora noticed her, and so did I.

She was floating above the ground, looking at something in the distance, shrouded in the shadows of this abyssal system of underground caves, which I've heard people call "the Abyss", a dark underworld where not many have stepped into.

"Papa, mama… Look!" Saphira pointed at the distance, using her tiny finger.

"What is it?" I wondered, activating my Vampiric Eyes.

And finally seeing what she was pointing at…

It was…

A gigantic skull?
